I wouldn't fret about it unless you absolutely have to have it the moment it comes out. It's a Mario character so it's almost certain to have multiple runs.

Sonic Mania + (July 17), Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 (July 24), SNK 40th Anniversary Collection (November 27), Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition (winter), Dead Cells (August 21), Trials Rising (February), Lego Incredibles + Lego DC Villains, Yomowari Collection (October 3), Crystal Crisis (November 27), Town of Light, My Hero Academia, The Lost Child, Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk, God Wars, Monster Boy, Fifa, Code of Princess, Hello Neighbor, Touhou, Adventure Time, Genso Wanderer, YS VIII, plus a glut of sports games and smaller indy games, and that's not counting a bunch of stuff that doesn't have a release date yet like the new exclusive Gunvolt game.

I don't see how anyone could look at that and say the Switch isn't getting support or doesn't have games. There's plenty of stuff coming up just in the next couple months. Sega, NIS, Inti Creates, Capcom and Bamco are putting out multiple games on the system.

It also irks me how indies and smaller developers get chucked under the bus like they somehow don't count for anything. If people want developers to support the system, don't dump on the ones who do because they aren't high profile enough or whatever.

This game has a crazy amount of content. I've played for over a hundred hours and I've barely scratched the surface of the adventure maps.

And here I just put the Super Mario 3D land edition on layaway because it was so much cheaper than the normal model

There are a lot of 3DS games I'm looking forward to, but I already knew about most of them before the direct. The only new announcement that really got me hyped was Poochy & Yoshi's Wooly World

You also get an adorable new Fairy companion for My Fairy and it says the level cap is now 200.

I've been playing this game since it came out and I only have one character over 50 ;-;

Can't say I'm surprised. Pity, because it's a pretty fun game. If anything, I think two Metroid titles in a row underperforming will just make Nintendo shelve the series rather than make another to "give the fans what they want."

The Federation Force training mode is fun, but Blast Ball is more frustrating than entertaining. It feels like pure luck.

I'm 100% on board with this idea. If you're dead set on a male Link, then just pick that one.

@Darknyht I know what you mean. I haven't been able to find the 6-inch Metroid anywhere, and people online scalp them for 50-60 bucks. They MSRP is 16!

I finally gave in and bought a 3DSXL on black friday in 2014 because they kept saying the New 3DS was TBD, and they announced it RIGHT after I got the thing. It's put me off upgrading again.

I missed Dragon Quest V in the last sale, but I got it this time!

I was disappointed when I saw it was another Fire Emblem character, but Corrin looks fun to play. And s/he comes with gender options!

I voted for Shantae, but I'm not at all displeased with Bayonetta. I just never dreamed she'd be eligible. Heck, I thought Lara Croft would be too risque!

@AlexSora89 Sakurai said Bayonetta's the last newcomer, so no new DLC fighters after this. I'm kinda sad about that.

@Whopper744 The original game is by far the hardest and doesn't always give clear direction. Risky's Revenge and Pirate's Curse are much better in that regard.

Does this game have any kind of single player campaign? All of the information I've read is focused on multiplayer.

@ullianov The game has incredible music and great art design, but you're right, the plot is a horrendous convoluted mess. Once you hit the Dead Sea it collapses on itself and never recovers.

@Smokingspoon Those two ham-fisted plot boss fights in the bonus dungeon left me feeling really sour about the whole thing. You know the ones I mean.

@DarkKirby I think "Linka" would have sounded better myself, but a little variety doesn't hurt since we already have Zelda, Impa, Lana, Cia, Agatha, and Midna. Too many -a's!
