I for one am devastated that this isn’t a high concept modern classic.

The catchphrase started out strong and I think that’s what caught people’s attention. It’s a shame that Alex couldn’t resist flanderising it so badly, almost to the point of self parody.
Over the last couple of years I’ve appreciated that he’s obviously reconsidered and deconstructed it, taking it back to a raw almost gritty delivery that leaves no doubt as to how lovely the peeeeeople he is saying hhhhhello to truly are- us, the fans.

I downloaded Keshi Corner’s 3D scan for a Yoshi, sliced it in cura (printing software) and my printer’s just heating up now. cura reckons it’ll take a couple of hours- if it comes out nicely I’ll add a photo

The games industry as a whole has come to use patches and updates as a crutch. How many other industries get to knowingly ship incomplete or broken products with this frequency?

These new maps are bland as hell and totally not geared for my play style. I’m sure i’m in the minority because they seem to be working well for all my opponents who splat me constantly.
I’m glad Nintendo did a demo before my preorder got dispatched.

@sanderev it’s more like I ctrl-c a copy of the famous painting and keep that in my filthy home. There’s no objective loss, there’s the potential loss of a sale.

@CodyMKW totally, there have been cases of PC games where the pirated version runs better than the retail version for just this reason

The first is someone who derives pleasure from owning something that brings them joy, the latter is someone who can’t understand value beyond the monetary.

I feel like the better route would be for mini consoles to have access to an eshop rather than a whole new gadget just for 50 more games.

@Ade117 i always loved how the edges of wii u discs felt, so smooth and premium. Every other disc feels like trash in comparison!

@Bunkerneath so in this example where you delete your local data, the game is no longer hosted to redownload but you want to go back and play- a “flawed” physical copy is inferior to a no longer existent digital copy how?

I don’t pretend to know the logistics behind this, but Nintendo have managed to put out so much grander special editions on time.

@Aawill91 I remember a decade ago where publishers were trying to stop the resell of physical games, there’s no way they will facilitate consumers eating into their full price sales by enabling us to undercut their prices reselling digital games.

What he’s talking about has been possible and done for years already. If the likes of Reggie, SquareEnix and Ubisoft want to introduce the blockchain it will only be to benefit themselves not players.
