Epic Games is the latest studio joining in the May the Fourth celebrations. For a whole fortnight, Fortnite is bringing back many of its Star Wars weapons, items, and costumes.
Starting today, until 17th May, players can get lightsabres, blasters, Imperial Stormtrooper outfits, a Boba Fett costume, and more. Not every single Star Wars item is returning — like the Mandalorian's — but most will be there.
Here's a list of everything we know that's available for the next two weeks of Star Wars celebrations, taken from Epic Games' blog:
- Four lightsabers: Luke Skywalker's green, Kylo Ren's red, Mace Windu's purple, and Obi-Wan's blue — so slightly different from the last collaboration's, which was Rey's.
- E-11 Blaster Rifle, which you get from exchanging Bars at checkpoints.
- You can earn an Empire Banner by going through Stormtrooper training and completing five quests.
- All non-Battle pass outfits are back in the Item Shop
So, what are you waiting for? Use the Force and get your Star Wars gear all the way until 17th May. Make sure you let us know what you think of the event in the comments!

The Star Wars Sequel trilogy and Fortnite? It's like a casserole of s**t.
@HotGoomba
I liked the sequel trilogy, but to each their own!
@HotGoomba Good! Let the hate flow through you!
@Phostachio Me too. Don't understand the hate.
Some people just live to hate and piss on everything.
@Jeronan What a coincidence, that's what it felt like the sequel trilogy was doing 👀

Star Wars, ah, interesting. i like it, kinda.
Man. it's so good to have the Lightsabers back! One of the best items in the game imo. Wish the E-11 was more accurate though.
Fornite? As in, you only play the game for one night?
@mjharper Closer to an hour than a night.
@Leuke Wait come back! You were only speaking the truth!
@Leuke
I’m so sick of Disney crap in this game. It was cute at first but it’s like half the game now.
@Jeronan
Yeah, I mean it isn’t my favorite of the trilogies but I’d certainly rather watch anything from the sequel trilogy over Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones. I dig the world building and the fact that the prequel trilogy gave us the Clone Wars show, but my god all of the dated CGI and bad acting makes the prequel trilogy hard to watch. Still do watch them because I’m just that much of a Star Wars fan, but the sequel trilogy is more enjoyable for me. Great action, a good mixture of practical and computer effects, better acting, and decent humor. The overall story isn’t great but it’s a fun ride and I personally loved The Last Jedi.
@HotGoomba I could use troops like you in the 501st.
Gotta say deflecting a SMG clip with a lightsaber only to flip around like a ballerina while slicing Dr Strange to pieces is very satisfying.
@mjharper Good...try..I guess? A fort night is two weeks though. Maybe next time.
@SteamEngenius There's a typo in the title of the article.

The only good Disney has done with Star Wars, is the mandalorian and the bad batch. I would say clone wars, but that was made before Disney.
@blindsquarel I mean, Rouge One was pretty good...
@HotGoomba
Forgot about that one. Hopefully obi wan is good.
@Phostachio Yes same here. I liked the prequel trilogy, but agree that the acting was a bit hit-miss at times. I think it was because a some of these actors were young and new. You could see that clearly in the first movie, but they did improve in the follow up movies and acting became a bit better.
The last trilogy was great in my book. Lot of fan service too with old returning actors ( Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher ).
Much better acting for sure, but also I think the experience of J.J. Abrams compared to George Lucas. Abrams is just a much better director and able to push actors and bring the best out of them. (like with the Batman trilogy)
But that is just my personal opinion.
