I think the article is fair, some companies are chaotic evil- using conflict minerals, some are lawful good- sourcing ethical minerals from affected areas. Nintendo is lawful neutral, could be better but not evil.

The woman in the post office was ruder this morning, I was there to buy some stamps. Why don’t people write letters anymore? It’s all texting and emailing and commenting nowadays. It’s ruining people’s spelling, and there are too many acronyms that I don’t understand. It was six months before i realised SMH doesn’t stand for Smell My Hand. Soap is so expensive now, I like my hands to smell like Imperial Leather but now they have to smell like Superdrug’s own and I don’t like it.
So in closing, because I need to get on, soap should be cheaper.

@Ryu_Niiyama I think I recall someone here once saying that older games can still be used to subscribe but the amount if content is limited to what was available at the time your copy was released.

I’m into the last couple of chapters of Final Fantasy 7 remake. Pikmin 3 is sat in front of me in its cellophane- I’ll get into some co-op with it later and a good does of passive aggressive backbiting at the end of every failed attempt at a level

@Mortenb i originally wrote quite a snarky reply to you but I think I must have misunderstood your point somewhere along the line. I genuinely cant see how someone buying a copy of a game and then selling that same copy to someone else to someone who would have bought it anyway (and at a lower price) is driving up demand.
I remember the games industry arguing the exact opposite years ago when it came to highstreet second hand games outlets.
Either way, if you see my first reply I’m sorry it was a bit pointed.

@lemonjellydude did someone say it was illegal? I haven’t read through all the replies so I may have missed that.
People commented it is unethical, which I agree with. Buying up stock and reselling at a higher price is certainly a scumbag move.
Edit- saying that people don’t have to pay the inflated price they can choose to go without and so should stop complaining is a terrible argument, the wouldn’t have the dilemma in the first place if not for the scalpers.

I’m hoping that Nintendo’s new approach to manufacturing scarcity is the time limit instead of under production. I’d happily see a bunch of scalpers go out of pocket.
If, on the other hand, nintendo intend to employ both approaches together then to hell with them.
(Personally I would prefer Nintendo just move on from scarcity entirely)

I was waiting on Cloudpunk to come to switch but in the meantime I read that the moral choices have a really obvious answer and if you choose the wrong answer the game berates you. Anyone played it and can confirm?

@MajinSoul which, as you say, the article acknowledges that Rockstar may consider piracy. Playing a duplicate of a game on a platform for which you do not have a license to play it. not such a difference.

Outrageous, the game is totally different! I for one look forward to playing as Loop whilst I rescue Princess Telda and liberate the land of Lowrule from the tyranny of Banon and his minions.

@SuperKMx agreed, despite putting “NO GAME INCLUDED” in listings I always message ahead now just to get the buyer to confirm they are aware when it’s just a box or just the pre order incentives. Too often the answer is ‘no’.
