@moreDKplz IDK why not neither, but there is a homebrew port of red dragon VB emulator for 3DS that is pretty much perfect. And yes the games are shown in original 3D and have sound. I highly recommend if you still have your 3DS. If you have not already, look up the 3ds homebrew guide and follow it, then install the emulator (can't remember what it's called but not too hard to find).

@Anti-Matter You can mainly thank Melee esports tournaments for cementing the GameCube controller as a golden standard, but you are right; it is a disadvantage for some games such as Mega Man X8.

Basketball was included in both Wii Sports Resort and Wii Sports Club.

Luigi's Mansion was one of my favorite games. Luigi's Mansion 2 however was a disappointment. I mean yeah, the mechanic was there: stun a ghost and such it up with a vacuum, but it had lost all the character, spooky tone, and even the music style which made the original GCN game so great.

@JohnnyMind I respectfully disagree. Pero, Yes the 'biggest' Wii U titled should be ported, but not all of them; leave some magic on Wii U. Like, the inability to yet emulate CBFD gives some mystique to N64.

Either way, nowadays you can play them all for free, you just need to install TiramisU firmware on your Wii U and use Wii U USB Helper to get the game/update/DLC files. (Technically you just need the firmware to launch games with DLC and non official software).

3DS had iirc 16G, Wii U had up to 32G, Switch is 64G, so I'd expect the NextN to have at least 128G.

Literally my only gripe about losing E3 is that I have to go back to my cartoon that takes place in the 2060s and change a character's "E3 2058" tee shirt.

I do miss the pre-Wii U Era events--good times--but those days have been long gone.

@TheDownfallHero7 Very interesting and much more probable; trifrucation of anything is unicorn-rare. It is indeed much more likely that the timeline was split, then the adult timeline split again, like you typed.

When Princess Zelda sent Link back in time at the end of Ocarina of Time, she inadvertently split the timeline into three separate timelines: one where Link grows up and defeats Ganon, one where he is defeated by Ganon, and the one shown where he goes back to his childhood and does not fight Ganon at all. This is all canon.

Different Zelda games take place on one of these three timelines or else take place in the single timeline before OoT. This was all confirmed in in the publication Hyrule Historia. That was before Breath of the Wild.

Due to both in-game evidence and the comments of the creators, BotW is widely accepted to take place after the timelines have rejoined into a single timeline once again. Tears of the Kingdom, in turn, takes place (relatively) immediately after BotW.

At least BotW melded the split timelines back together to make it simpler going forward (I call it the "Anti-OoT").

"Picklock" is one of my favs from that publisher (the rest were so-so, but that is subjective).

Astral chain; that game was epic! Very unique gameplay mechanics and pretty decent if not 'out there' story. Very highly recommend!

I tried this design once but rejected it for stability issues. It was quickly replaced by the Hylia Aeronautics H-4 Darner, H-5S Gerudo, and H-6 Aerocuda designs.

@mattesdude Right, we'll never get the most powerful in a particular console era again, but the more they wait, the more of today's tech becomes the "withered tech" that will end up in the next Nintendo.

Honestly don't want or need a Switch 2 until the others are ready for their next consoles, lest we get another underpowered system that devs will avoid porting to next consoles era.

Wii Sports was part of the Wii Series. The other games in the series were Wii Play, Wii Music, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Play Motion, Wii Fit, and Wii Party. Nintendo Switch Sports is not part of the Wii Series, although it serves as a spiritual successor to Wii Sports Resort, which in turn is also a spiritual successor to PilotWings (takes place in the same world).

If a next era console, then of course...eventually. If a 'New' iteration (what some call "Pro", although that means something different in Nintendo nomenclature), pass; I don't usually buy into the 'New' versions. I still have a launch 3DS.

That song is absolutely the farthest you can get when thinking about Sonic; he is a ROCKER, through and through!🤘 Hell, he even had his own rock band (Sonic Underground).

@Savino The first smartphone came out before iMac; Apple didn't "invent the smartphone". Of course it was still very rudimentary, think palm pilot with cellular service.

If you go by Miyamoto's own vision of what Zelda was supposed to be, I would have to say BOTW. My personal favorite, however, is Wind Waker.

They have every authority to "cancel" their own game; it happens all the time. Remember Star Fox 2 before the minis came out. Albeit this is unique in having cancel a game after it has already been released. In the old days, they would just 'go out of print'.

Combining DS and Wii sales isn't really the same thing. Me and my wife had a Wii, my kids had thier Wii, and all of us had a DS light or DSi. With Switch, it's more like taking the DSs out of the equation for me. For wealthier folks, perhaps it's like taking the Wiis out of the equation. No one is going to buy a Switch for home and another for on-the-go per person; it defeats the purpose of Switch.

@X68000 N64; I have a copy of Rush that will no longer save. I've never had that issue with the others though (never even seen a Vita).
