Picked up the Castlevania and Contra Anniversary Collections this week since they are each on sale for $5US. Both are really great, especially if you have nostalgia for these series.

I got back into Splatoon 2 recently and it is just so much fun. I definitely wouldn't mind another Splatfest.

Still plugging away at Octopath Traveler. I'm 40 hours in and finding that 9999 damage is where the real fun begins!

The only thing I was bummed about was that we didn't see more info on Advance Wars.
Really looking forward to Triangle Strategy, Castlevania Collection, and maybe I will finally play KOTOR!

I mainly want to see more footage of Advance Wars, along with info on how online matches will work. Xenoblade and Fire Emblem reveals would each be nice as well.

Dragon Quest XI is a great example. Many people hated the midi soundtrack, but I personally loved the orchestral version.

@somebread Do you mean how Chucklefish never supported pocket rumble? I am bummed they never updated the game and added another character, but I still think it is a solid and fun fighting game to play with friends.

Ys VIII and maybe some Paladins.

DS Lite was such an amazing leap from the original DS. I still enjoy playing mine to this day. I love my regular size New 3DS as well.

@Bobobiwan same here! I got a brand new copy of XCX last year and downloaded the data packs. Now I just have to start it!

Playing through Bloodstained: RotN for the first time now. So far it definitely seems like it belongs on this list.

The eShop page for this says 1-2 players online. I really hope this has asynchronous matches, ala Wargroove, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

My only concern with development is will the online multiplayer work well? I really hope it will have asynchronous matches, like Wargroove.

Yeeees! My fellow Advance Wars fanatic friend and I still play this every time we get together, and now we can play it online! While this is certainly not perfect, I will take what I can get. $60 is steep, and the visuals are eh, but I will support this and hope for a new sequel someday!

Picked up Bloodstained on sale for $20US at Best Buy so I'm finally going to give it a shot!

Ha I just bought the DQ 3 remake on the eshop yesterday. Oh well I'm glad to support these games.

I will have to see more about this one, but I am a fan of Erik so that's a start.

The last game to enter my top 5 was Dragon Quest XI S: DE.

I used to really enjoy fighting game manuals. I liked to look over each character's move list and in some games it was the pretty much the only story content you would get.

I'm planning to finally play my copy of Xenoblade Chronicles X this summer. Can't wait!

Hoping to beat Trials of Mana and start a 2nd play through.

@NintendoBMA Unfortunately Arika released a statement saying they are pushing the release of Fighting EX Layer back to May 27 for Switch. Just found out myself. I was looking forward to this one! Oh well.

An announcement that Chucklefish is working on a sequel to Wargroove would be amazing. Better yet, Nintendo is handing them the Advance Wars license.

For anyone who owns an Xbox 360 or One, Lost Oddysey is a great JRPG, often goes on sale for $5US, and is backwards compatible.

Legend of Zelda is action/adventure game to me. My introduction to the RPG genre was Dragon Warrior on NES, so that has molding my idea of what an RPG is. LoZ was never an RPG to me.

I'm actually happy to not connect this with my xbox live account. My son is way better than me at shooters and has gotten our level so high in the game I can't compete. Happy to start at level 1.

I'm surprised Dragon Quest XI S was so low. I guess everyone already bought it on PS4?

Considering I have enough games in my backlog to last 10 years, take your time and make the best game you can.

The 3 I want are in a triangle: Project Triangle Strategy, Mario Golf, and Splatoon 3. Saga Frontier and Legend of Mana are maybes.

I picked this one up in the fall when it dropped to $20US. Haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. I wouldn't mind seeing a 3D remake of Final Fantasy Legend. I know it's not the best RPG, but it was a fun part of my childhood.
Also, a full remake of Chrono Trigger could be incredible.

I'm a middle-aged family man, and I still love me some Street Fighter. Still remember picking up SF II Turbo for my SNES and how hyped I was. Having the 30th Anniversary Collection made me realize how awesome Alpha 2 is. It has quickly become a favorite, right alongside 3rd Strike.

Thankfully got the 512gb SD card recently so I'm good to go, plus I buy as many physical games as possible.

As much as I would love to see more great 1st party Switch games on the way, I have more games in my backlog than I will probably play in the next 5 years, so...🤷

Lots of fighting game franchises are missing from Switch.

@Dpishere A port of the Spinter Cell games with the Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer would be an instant buy for me.

Violent Storm would be amazing. Great 90s beat 'em up and as far as I know was never published on another platform.

As convenient as digital games are, and as much as I like the frequent and cheap sales, I still prefer physical games, especially cartridges. Knowing that I truly own a game and that it will last a very long time is very valuable to me. This is especially true for big, single-player games like RPGs.
