Merry Christmas to all!

Managed to pick up Ni No Kuni physical for $25 US on Black Friday. Tempted to pick up Digimon too after all I've read about it.

If any of you have never played Katamari Damacy, this is a great price. One of my all-time favorites!

Glad to see this still getting support. Spent most of the day yesterday playing this. Such a fun game!

Gaming Historian's videos are always top-notch.

The thought of not being able to own cartridges is sad. Unfortunately, the new generation of gamers would rather own digital and not have to switch out a cart or disc. As they get older (and get corporate jobs at gaming companies), companies with probably phase out physical to save money.

I picked this up on launch day. With all the little extras, it was definitely worth it.

I know there will be people that look forward to being able to play a proper English translation of this for the first time, but $29 US is just too much for this game. It is on sale right now for $23, but I dont think I'd give it a look for more than $15.

Still very interested in this game. Celebrate this with a nice discount, and I will probably pick it up.

Still DQ XI for me. 97 hours in and enjoying the post-game.

Should have waited and released a finished product. Unfortunately "fix it later" seems to be the philosophy of a lot of developers these days.

Definitely going to take a close look at Munchkin. It's based on a really fun and funny tabletop card game.

Really intense game! Highly recommend playing with headphones.

Looks good! Glad they didn't go with the mobile-style graphics of the Dragon Quest 1/2/3 rereleases.

@Anri02 Doesn't seem likely, but we can dream! That would be the first mmo I would give a serious try to.

Continuing with Dragon Quest XI all weekend!

I have put hundreds of hours into this game and can't wait to come back! The support that Chucklefish is showing for this game is phenomenal. I am seriously considering double dipping on the physical version just to support them.

I can't say enough how much DQ XI deserves all its sales. Fantastic game!

Picked up DQ XI (physical) and I am loving it. I have been a fan of the series since Dragon Warrior 1 and the nostalgia is just awesome.

Time will tell. I would still wait to buy a Switch Lite.

I am a fan since Dragon Warrior 1, and am having a blast with this! The game is great in its own right, but the nostalgia factor adds that much more for me.

Hopefully we can use the joycon as a lightgun.

Are these parts coming to the Wii U version? Yes I still play my Wii U.

Great Diablo-style game! I highly recommend it.

Game looks great but with so many great games coming out and a huge backlog, I can wait.

Wow sorry to hear this. It would be smart of Nintendo to do a massive 3DS eshop sale for about a week or two before support ends. I would definitely purchase a lot.

Fighting games galore with a friend - SoulCalibur 6, Street Fighter Anniversary, Virtua Fighter 5: FS, etc.

@Cotillion Not sure where you live, but in the US Gamestop is still a great place to get old DS games for a reasonable price. About a year ago I was able to find Dragon Quest IV - VIII for DS and 3DS, some of them brand new. You can also get some brand new DS games on Amazon for a decent price.

Since I cant afford 3 Houses just yet, I went back and finally beat Fire Emblem Echoes on 3DS. Now I am playing Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest, which I had never played. Both are great!

I'm a little jealous of my son playing nonstop Fire Emblem: 3 Houses, so I borrowed his copy of Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest (which I missed the first time around) and I'm playing that. Also pumped for my friend coming over to play Mario Golf on Gamecube later!

I love turn-based strategy, but without at least hot seat at launch, this was a hard pass for me. At a lower price and with hot seat, maybe in the future.

@commentlife Thanks! Yes it's the 8bitdo. I was trying to emulate the old Street Fighter 2 cabinets. I definitely recommend the 8bitdo. Easy to mod and plays great.

This definitely interests me, but $30US is a little steep for me right now. I will probably wait for a sale.
