Personally, I'm looking forward to playing SS again in HD and without motion controls.

Fingers crossed they'll also add a few gameplay improvements like they did with WW and TP. Reducing the padding and how annoying Fi is would be a good start.

Several of my older Nintendo consoles and handhelds have been shipped from London to New York to Hong Kong then back to London again. They all still work!

@NathanTheAsian @C-Olimar But at least some of the plastic was a different colour on the other three variants (Splatoon, Xenoblade and Smash). This MH one looks like it's just a standard black controller with some gold transfers on it (similar to the Zelda Wii U gamepad.)

@Bizzyb I’m not sure I even received the second survey where they ask you to specify which platform as they forgot to include this the first time!

The latest update gave vague directions where to find it rather than simply providing a link.

The fees are due to Platinum being clueless.

Anyway, fingers burnt and lesson learnt. Will only back British-based (non-Playtonic) projects in future.

Platinum should’ve shipped all the games to a European hub and then dispatched to all backers from there. Without the fine print saying otherwise, that’s what I thought they’d do and was why I backed this Kickstarter.

It also wasn’t clear at that point that it would also be available at retail very soon afterwards. (This was before Covid-19 cropped up and caused a delay which somehow didn’t seem to affect the retail copies!)

What Platinum did was dishonest and / or incompetent.

If you live in the United Kingdom sign up to Official Nintendo UK Store's email alerts. That's how I managed to get mine six weeks or so ago. They've had new shipments a couple of times since then.

@San_D Agree with you that's it's a weird choice of wording and I'd say redundant in the sentence "One catch is it's available for free as a limited-time release until the end of September." Why not just "It's available for free as a limited-time release until the end of September"?

Maybe NL writers are paid per word (and affiliate link)?
