Re: Darkest Dungeon Goes Physical With The Ancestral Edition On Switch

Judas_Krimson

@Machine5 Oh yes, I’ve been following this game since its release even if I’ve never played it.
And for what concerns Lovecraft... you hit the spot there.
That particular graphic style, that’s what attracted me the most the first time I saw the game.
Roguelikes are one of my favourite genres, better if procedurally generated.
Ironcast, GoNNER, Enter The Gungeon, The Binding Of Isaac, Tumbleseed, Has Been Heroes, Crypt Of The NecroDancer, The Flame In The Flood, Don’t Starve, I love them all, any kind of roguelike, real time, turn based, Survival, shooter, I just can’t get enough of them😆

I knew it was going to come, I read the announcement somewhere on the internet, that’s why I didn’t buy it on the eShop.
If you’re waiting for your next favourite game on the eStores but retail is your thing, just a word of advice: don’t fret, be patient and do researches.
I know it sounds obvious, but not so obvious from what I’ve read on the comments.
Even if you don’t read about a physical copy announcement on NintendoLife don’t stop looking, I’ve read that a physical edition with all the DLCs was going to come out in stores about two weeks before the eShop release date, it was pretty hard resisting not to buy the digital copy on day one, but as many of you guys I love retail and love to have a collection of games piled up on my shelves, so I waited.

Re: Feature: The Most Exciting Indie Games Coming to Nintendo Switch In 2018

Judas_Krimson

Ok, after selecting Night In The Woods, Dandara, Owlboy, Fe, Moonlighter, AWAY: Journey To The Unexpected, Hollow Knight, Flipping Death, 2064: Read Only Memories Integral, Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night, and Layers Of Fear: Legacy I realised that I could only select three XDXDXD
Owlboy is coming out the same day of the Collector’s Edition of the game I preordered and been HUGELY hyped for: Kingdom Come: Deliverance... I think I’m going to spend some little more for it, I think it’s perfect to pass some time of relaxing pixel art between the sessions of harsh medieval life XD
Jeez, it’s a great time to be alive XD

Re: Video: Not Everyone Is Pleased With Nintendo Labo

Judas_Krimson

@Nincompoop well Nintendo actually has always been for EVERYONE, kids and adults as well, everyone that have always thought Nintendo is just for children got it all wrong.
Now with Switch they were trying (and actually succeeding) to make it clear, make people understand that Nintendo’s last console is appealing to the grownups too, they just didn’t have the need to show kids again since everyone already know that and gave it for granted (Nintendo lovers and not as well).
I just got this LABO stuff as a reminder, like Nintendo kinda saying “Hey kids, we didn’t forget you here’s something nice for you to play with;)”
And it’s just beautiful, I don’t have kids but if I had I’d probably buy one of those kits.
And if I had spare money I’d probably buy one of those kits even if I don’t have kids, I’m really curious to see what’s like being a robot, it’s like becoming kids again.
I love this idea.
They’re all whining about it, but in spite of it Nintendo still has managed to come out with something new, no matter if you like it or not, no one have done it before (ok just to be clear, cardboard toys already existed but no one thought they could be combined with consoles and joypads).
You don’t like it?
Doesn’t matter, it’s clear that LABO is not for you anyway, go on and wait for the coming up Switch games you’re waiting for, and CHILL.
You like it?
Well, knock yourself out.

@Nincompoop I’m 36 years old and have always loved Nintendo since I was 6.
Can’t really understand the complaints here, adults keep whining about Nintendo being a company for kids... but maybe they don’t know that MadWorld, or No More Heroes, or SilentHill Shattered Memories, or Bayonetta, or DOOM, aren’t exactly games for kids...
And I love Mario as much as I love Bayonetta, and I think that all this LABO stuff is great to play with kids and AS a kid... I’m not ashamed by saying I’m pretty interested in trying the Robot-Con set myself, it looks so fun to assemble before and to play with after, just like LEGO.

Re: Enter the Gungeon Has Been a Sales Success on the Switch eShop

Judas_Krimson

I knew it would come out on Switch too but I couldn’t wait and I bought months ago for Xbox, played a lot and then I bought it again for Switch and keep playing on this system.
Well nowadays it’s a common thing to say this game or that game is a perfect fit for the Switch, so I’m not going to say it again for Enter The Gungeon, but...
Hell, it’s a perfect fit for the Switch😆

Re: Has-Been Heroes Gets a Meaty New Update, and It's Free

Judas_Krimson

Just bought yesterday for 15€ at GameStop!!!! A steal!!!!
I’m so happy right now, it’s been a lot that I was looking for a retail copy of this game but never found it, or too pricey.
And it was a surprise too, I didn’t even go for that, I was there ‘cause I wanted to ask whether XenoChronicles 2 broke the Day One or not... And the answer was no, and then I just asked for some games for Switch I was looking for, Has Been Heroes included, and I was pretty convinced not to find anything of interest, but then BAM!, a retail copy of Has Been Heroes, new, with the envelop, never touched, at the price of 15€.
And then “shut up and take my money!” Came out from my mouth😆🤣

Re: Talking Point: The Dust Settles on a Giddy Retail Period for Nintendo Switch - What's Next?

Judas_Krimson

I don’t think that the future could be bright, I believe that the future is bright.
I’ve seen partnerships between Nintendo and other SH that I could never even think about, I’m playing DOOM while I’m sitting on my toilet for Christ’s sake.
I’m pretty confident in this Nintendo generation.
Hey, according to Michael Pachter the Nintendo GameCube had to be the last Nintendo console before failing and starting to develop games for the other consoles XDXDXD

Re: Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Champions' Ballad DLC is Still Due This Year

Judas_Krimson

I've just finished BOTW a couple of days ago and I can't wait to play the expansion.
It's been since Friday that I'm completely hooked to Mario Odyssey and I'm sure it'll keep me busy for a long time...
Then the Amazon courier will bring me DOOM in a couple of weeks, and then I'm gonna grab the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Collector's Edition the 1st of December.
Oh it's a great time to be alive.

Re: Video: 4K Trailer For L.A. Noire Gives An Idea Of What It Won't Look Like On Switch

Judas_Krimson

You know what, I upgraded to a current gen console just last year with an XOne, I bought the Switch in June, yesterday I finished Zelda (not 100%), and in few hours my amazon courier should bring me Odyssey.
Oh, and I STILL have an HD Ready TV, I couldn't afford a full HD TV because I always gave priority to the games and I'm not swimming in gold...
But still, I'm happy right now, in few hours I will be playing with Mario, in November I'll grab Doom, and in December Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
It's a wonderful time to be a Nintendo enthusiast (as I always have been since 1986), I don't feel pressed to buy an XOne X and a 4K TV, I will surely buy them when I'll have the money, but I'm not in a hurry.

Re: Feature: Going Deeper With The Flame in the Flood on Nintendo Switch

Judas_Krimson

@Fake-E-Lee I bought the Switch last June, not day one alas, always because of money of course, and bought it along Zelda, Thumper, Tumbleseed, and Fast RMX, and it literally sucked me in as I turned it on.
I actually got more downloaded indies than physical retail AAA games, after Zelda I only bought Disgaea 5 'cause I needed a rpg/strategy/puzzle game in my collection and I've heard that game was HUGE, and in fact it is😆
The other indies I have are Phantom Trigger, Gonner, Ironcast, and Wulverblade and The Flame In The Flood that I've just bought today.
I wish I had more money to buy the other retail games I missed at launch way faster than I can actually do like Arms or Mario Kart Deluxe, now I just can't do anything but waiting for a lower price... ah, I'm so sad, it's an expensive hobby to be a gamer😆
Oh, and between Mario and Xeno I'd like to get Doom for Switch and the new NFS for XOne, mission impossible🤣

Re: Wulverblade Cuts Its Way To The Switch eShop Next Week

Judas_Krimson

@Fake-E-Lee Aaaaand that was another one on my To-Buy List😓😆
I think I'll make an effort and buy The Flame In The Flood AND Wulverblade.
I mean, look at it, I NEED this game.
I don't know if you read the interview but this game, even if it's apparently "just another side-scrolling beat 'em up" it literally reeks passion, love and devotion, and it actually shows from the trailers I've seen so far.

Man.
I can't take this anymore, for the sake of my wallet somebody stop the overflowing of all these huge games on the eShop🤣🤣🤣
