Re: Sorry Folks, No More Heroes 3 Has Been Delayed Until Next Year

Judas_Krimson

It’s all good, I totally understand the delay, me and my family and friends have been through a lot this year too.
I don’t mind at all, the important is that it will come out awesome, so no pressure.
Beside, There’s a breathtaking game coming out in November that will keep me busy for a while😏😎👌🏽
Looking forward to further news!

Re: Dead Cells' Next DLC Pack Adds "Chill-Inducing" Monsters And All-New Weapons

Judas_Krimson

@GhostGeneration hello mate how it’s going, glad to see you too!
Yes, I haven’t been posting for a long time, I spend most of my social time on Instagram and YouTube, and I usually just look at the news & reviews on NintendoLife without reading too much of the comments, I think I maybe ended up a bit lazy😆🤣
Anyway I’m glad you’re fine and I’m going to see what that’s all about as soon as I post this comment! Take care mate, see you soon!😉👍🏽

Re: Nightdive Studios CEO Says Shadow Man On Switch "Is Possible"

Judas_Krimson

@shgamer That was the line of the main antagonist, the fallen Angel Legion.
He introduced himself saying “My name is Legion. For we are many.”
There were evil npc characters in the real world, each with their own goal, that sacrificed themselves in his name, stabbing themselves and pronouncing the words “For we are many”, and becoming the bosses in the world of the dead, and each boss represented one of the seven capital sins.
I loved that game so much.
I just hope it’ll come eventually to the Switch and with updated graphics.

Re: A New Earthworm Jim Is Coming, But There's A Rather Large Catch

Judas_Krimson

@mazzel I don’t know, as soon as I looked at the article the huge Ouya fail came into my mind.
At least from the console presentation video it looks like big, and most important, competent names are involved, and the price is affordable, but I wouldn’t certainly buy it just because I’d love to play with Earthworm Jim 3... And even if the whole gaming universe is toward digital delivery, the fact that I won’t have any game disc or cartridge or minidisc or UMD or whatever is a letdown for me...
Still, the price is ok, so in case the console sells well and decent games come out for it I could think about getting one. Will see, I’m actually curious.

Re: Travis Strikes Again DLC, Season Pass Pricing And Voice Cast Fully Detailed

Judas_Krimson

@Fake-E-Lee Well mate I hope things are going way better for you now! 😊👌🏽
It’s good you’re happy with your Switch, I have to say if I didn’t have any console and I had to pick just one between XOne, Switch, and Ps, I would choose the Switch without no doubt!😉👍🏽
It’s the most versatile console, and has lots of awesome games, retail and indies😄🎊🎉

Re: Travis Strikes Again DLC, Season Pass Pricing And Voice Cast Fully Detailed

Judas_Krimson

@Fake-E-Lee Happy New Year (a bit late, alas😅)!!! I’m pretty fine thanks, what about you? I’m glad you’ve changed your mind, I’ve preordered the game as soon as it popped up on Amazon, even if I know that it won’t be the No More Heroes game I was waiting for (especially gameplay wise), it’s still a Suda51 game, it still takes place in the NMH Universe, and there’s still Travis in it, so be it.
I know I won’t be disappointed.

And at the end of the month I’ll get Kingdom Hearts 3 for XOne, I can’t wait🤩 What about you, will you buy it? It looks awesome!!!

Re: Review: Pirates: All Aboard! (Switch eShop)

Judas_Krimson

This is pure crap, you don’t even have to read a review to know that it’s crap, suffice to watch a 5 minutes video of the gameplay to get bored at 2.
A port of the original game, Sid Meier’s Pirates would have been ten thousand times better, I would’ve even bought it.

Re: Review: Attack On Titan 2 (Switch)

Judas_Krimson

@Dom Thank you very much mate!!!
Finally! 😄🙌🏽🎉🎊
Well I actually preferred the English voiceovers for commodity, but that doesn’t bother me much since I’m used to watch the series in Japanese with English subtitles.
Thanks again!!!

Re: Review: Attack On Titan 2 (Switch)

Judas_Krimson

@Dom is the game dubbed in English or in Japanese with subtitles?
It’s been weeks I was wondering which language is spoken in the game but I couldn’t find an answer, this is so frustrating... It looks like no one talks about it because they already know so, am I the only one that’s interested about that?

Re: Everspace Heads To The Stars (And Straight Onto Nintendo Switch)

Judas_Krimson

Uuh, look what do we have here, one of my favourite roguelikes I’ve been played for hundreds of hours on my Xbox!!!
I’m SO going to double dip on this one.
Trust me here guys, this is Space Dogfighting at its finest, I shit you not.
It is like Freelancer but way lighter, no space stations, a bit of trading from time to time with other friendly merchant ships, and lots of combat, with lots of weapons to loot, enhance, and build from scratch on the go thanks to the various things you can scavenge by exploring the sector you are in before space jump to another.

The story is nothing particularly new or extraordinary, but enough to keep you interested and motivated to go on and find out what’s next, but the real reason to push forward is dying and start again.
Dying is pretty rewarding here since all the money earned in a run (the longer you survive, the more you earn) has to be spent to enhance your spacecraft.
And all the blueprints of equipment and weapons found are kept in memory for the next runs.
And this game has nothing in common with Elite Dangerous, where the pace is way slower.

In Everspace you have little time to think, you have to act quick whatever you want to do, whether gathering minerals or exploring the inside of a ruined space station.
If you stay too long in a system, enemy motherships will come along with lots of fighters making it impossible to stay any longer, so when you see the enemy incoming signal you go or die.
It could seem annoying but this is for the better, cause it keeps the game compelling and the action frantic.
And then you have to micro manage your spacecraft, enhancing the fire rate of your Gatling guns, or the reach of your lasers, or building a companion drone that repairs the hull of your ship or another that aid to keep your shields up when you’re under heavy fire, or exploring and try to uncover the secrets of some alien artifacts.
And enemy ships are not the only menace here, ‘cause you will eventually have to face the dangers of the Space itself: you will have to take cover from radiation storms, or fly through asteroids fields, or fight against the gravity of black holes, or avoid electric fields, and you’ll even find yourself in a sector very close to a star, so you have to fight and scavenge while your hull integrity slowly decreases.
Plus, every run is different since the sectors are procedurally generated.
There’s plenty to do and have fun with, you will not be disappointed with this game, I assure you.

Re: Video: Koei Tecmo Unleashes New Attack On Titan 2 Trailers

Judas_Krimson

I skipped the first one even if it attracted me ‘cause I like the series but I’ve read the action was too repetitive, but now I think I’m going to grab this one ‘cause it looks like it has more complex gameplay and seeing the characters flinging and zipping through the screen is so badass and makes me really feel like one of them😁

Re: Shopkeeping RPG Adventure Moonlighter Will Go Physical On Switch In 2018

Judas_Krimson

It’s been years I was waiting for a Darkest Dungeon port for a platform I own, on iPhone or XOne, way before Switch came out, and then I bought the Switch and about the end of last year DD was announced for Switch, and I couldn’t wait to grab it.
And then a couple of weeks before the release on the eShop they announced that the physical version of said game would come out, but some time after the digital version release.
So I waited.
I’m still waiting.
Same I did with other indies I’ve been following with so much hype like Owlboy, Riot: Civil Unrest, Flinthook, and Moonlighter of course (and some of these games were already out for other platforms months and even years ago by the way).
I love physical copies of those indie games as a videogame enthusiast, because I personally like to have all my tiny little cartridges or CDs piled up on my shelves, indies and AAA games alike, but waiting for them is a real pain in the arse, especially if I know that are already available and lots of people are already having lots of fun with them, but oh I know if it’s worth the wait.

Re: Review: Radiation Island (Switch eShop)

Judas_Krimson

Well it was born as a mobile game, so I’m not surprised.
Not saying that mobile games are crap (in fact I have lots of great games on my old iPhone6 like The Banner Saga, Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf, Alto’s Odyssey and may more), just that I rather trust a game developed expressively for consoles instead of a port from mobile to consoles.

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend?

Judas_Krimson

Ok I’m a bit sorry because it has literally been MONTHS since I last turned my XOne on because I was used to dedicate all my nerd time to the Switch with the Zelda Expantion, roguelikes like Has Been Heroes and Enter The Gungeon, DOOM, and Mario Odyssey, but last Tuesday Amazon kindly delivered my Kingdom Come Deliverance Collector’s Edition and it’s taking over my life ever since like a drug.
Damn bloody game.

Re: Manticore: Galaxy On Fire Will Swoop Onto Switch On 22nd March

Judas_Krimson

@Shiryu I’m sorry but you should stick with Everspace.
And btw it’s one of my favourite titles I downloaded on XOne last year.
I’m still waiting for the dlc and the big update though, I’ve finished the campaign but still collecting DNA... It’s so good, in fact I get back to it from time to time😁

Re: Manticore: Galaxy On Fire Will Swoop Onto Switch On 22nd March

Judas_Krimson

I hate this game, GOF 1 and 2 were the best space sims for mobile, and then they ruined the series with Manticore, that became ftp full of timers and micro-transactions, and on top of all this, the space exploration was gone, the trading was gone, the micro-management of the equipment and of the cargo was gone.
It was so bad I can’t even know how to describe it.
I’m just curious what they’re going to do with the Switch version, but I’m pretty sure it won’t get better.
If you want to know what Galaxy On Fire is then play GOF2.

Re: Review: Dandara (Switch eShop)

Judas_Krimson

@Scottwood101 I agree about everything you said.
The controls are quite difficult but as every other games you’ve just gotta get used to them.
The game is pretty difficult and I love the Dark Souls vibe in it.

Re: Dead Cells Is Coming to the Switch Later This Year

Judas_Krimson

@sfb That’s right, every evening I watch some TV, but then I feel like I want to do something else so I grab my Switch and start playing ETG in my bed with the TV on.
I still have to kill the DraGUN and have one thing left to forge the bullet for the Gun that can kill the past, I’ve unlocked almost every weapon, but in every session I discover something new, this game is HUGE😆
I can’t wait for the expansion, it looks like it’s going to throw a [removed] of new things, I’m afraid I will stick with this game forever🤣

Re: Dead Cells Is Coming to the Switch Later This Year

Judas_Krimson

@Reignmaker that’s what I say in every single article’s comment section🤣

Owlboy for the Switch?
Ooh, that’s the perfect fit!
Hollow Knight announced for the Switch?
Geez that game is gorgeous, Hollow Knight and the Switch are a match made in heaven!
Thumper!
The HD Rumble feature adds much more depth to the gameplay, I can’t imagine myself playing this on another system!

Seriously, for one or another reason I realised that every single game I already own or upcoming game I’m looking forward to play with is the perfect fit for the Switch, I have an XOne too but I never touched it since I’ve bought the Switch in June.
I love its versatility, and the HD Rumble, mate, lots of people say it’s just a gimmick but for me it’s one of the best and distinctive features of the console, and it really adds something more to the gameplay, and I haven’t been convinced or brainwashed by the commercials and the videos that talked about it, it’s something I really believe.
There are many indies I see for other platforms, new and old alike, maybe even pretty old games that have been out for years, that blatantly ASK to be played on the Switch, tell me if you think the same!
Especially those quirky roguelikes in fine pixel art, oh I love those kind of games, they are my favourites, games that graphically look like a SNES game and even better, but with the gameplay mechanics of today, like cover system, combos, finishers, ability trees and stuff like that.
You name any great game, any.
Bet it’s even better to play it on the Switch.
Like Moonlighter!
How awesome is that game?
Can’t wait to play it on my Switch.
Or Enter The Gungeon.
I knew it was going to come out for the Switch, but since I saw the announcement I couldn’t wait to grab it so I bought it for my XOne and liked it a lot, but I’ve played it just 20+ hours before moving on to other games.
And then the Switch version came, and BAM, 100+ hours and still can’t get enough.
Another examples, Dandara, Fe, Thimbleweed Park, they’re all multiplatform, but you already know the system I’m going to use to play them.
I don’t even know how to explain that clearly, I hope you understand what I’m trying to say, it’s like something magic, every game looks prettier, funnier, better on the Switch, leave alone the 30 or 60fps or the resolution contexts, I’m just talking about feelings, how does it feel to play those game whenever you want, everywhere you want, alone or with friends or girlfriend/boyfriend.
After the WiiU failure (and believe me, I loved WiiU so much, it had great potential) I really think Nintendo hit the spot with the last console.
