You can like GU over World, but admitting that, in your own words, you are a die hard Nintendo fan, weakens your position. By all means have a great time. A preference in gaming companies should not matter. Thus, don't include that in your argument.

I think people would be ultimately disappointed if Waluigi makes it into Smash. If he was announced, the running joke ( or fake outcry ) would stop. What would everyone bemoan about then? No playable Ridley I suppose 🤔

Such an amazing game. One of my all time favorites. Okami has been ported quite a lot these past few years. I won't triple dip here. I would double dip for a Viewtiful Joe remaster though. What's up Capcom?!?

Gaming was definitely an unhealthy obsession of mine when I was younger. Nowadays it's simply a nice break or distraction from the stressors in my life. My answers in the poll matched up with the most popular choices.

Nothing said or shown yesterday convinced me to buy a Switch. Not having Metroid Prime 4 at the show was a huge disappointment. This list is sad. Fortnite is the 2nd most hyped game? Looks like my PS4 will continue to take all of my game time. Hollow Knight is amazing though. I highly recommend it.

@MikeW Just the mention of Viewtiful Joe makes my day. A 1+2 bundled release would be incredibly hard to resist.

I would like to add that a "GameCube Classics" line of Switch titles is a potential goldmine of both gaming goodness for us and profits for Nintendo.

I'm calling it "Metroid Prime 4 or bust".

@Dang69 Excellent choice. Castlevania 3 is amazing. It's definitely my favorite of the first 4.

This is a wonderful game. I watched my son play it on his PC. I don't own a Switch but am hoping it will be released on the PS4 soon. I highly recommend this game.

This is exciting news indeed. Although there is much more content in MHGU, I will likely stick to MHW. The QOL improvements in World would be difficult to overlook going back. I wish World had a roster like Generations Ultimate. Capcom has plenty of fans of both games to please us all.

I'm really happy to see the continued support of the 3ds! That's great news for those of us yet to buy a Switch

@Trajan That caught my eye too. They even state it's 2 generations ahead of the Switch.

Nintendo should really consider an achievement program. Whether it's an app or patched in otherwise, it's past due. Earning "stars" or coins and such for in game achievements is a great idea. Having a prize for these collected achievements, like a free download or eshop currency, would entice us to play more games more often.

Don't rule out another Nintendo branded cereal. " 1080 Crunch" sounds appetizing.

New Metroid Prime = a Switch purchase. I'm very interested to see what Nintendo announces during the next Direct.

Great news if confirmed. Those games didn't get enough exposure. Since I don't own a Switch yet, a WiiU release would also be cool. I'll get on board eventually.

Wind Waker has been my favorite Zelda game since the Gamecube days. Now that I've let BOTW settle into a memory, it's taken over the top spot for me. I anticipate revisiting BOTW from time to time for years. It's a beautiful world to immerse into.

I almost pulled the trigger on buying a Switch but talked myself out of it with Monster Hunter World around the corner on the PS4. Looks like Nintendo will get by without my support.

@Hikingguy I can answer that for ya. Master mode is a separate file. It's nice because on my normal file I'm collecting everything.

Nintendo needs to patch in enough slots to collect all of the clothing/armor. The new shrines are good. The bike seems fun. I haven't gotten it yet. Overall I'm underwhelmed. The rehashed boss fights are cheap and lazy. My review so far, and I've yet to beat the additional "dungeon", is a 6/10.

Nintendo wants all of my time and money. I'm tempted to give it to them.

Most of these choices were a close call for me. Choosing the Galaxy games over Skyward Sword is not. Overall, I prefer the Mario franchise. Platformers ftw

If Nintendo gets into China's market, the Switch will likely be the best selling console of all time.

The current controls on the joy-cons are too uncomfortable for me. A proper d pad is just one of a number of revisions I would suggest. Judging by the other comments, I'm not alone here. I hope Nintendo will produce alternative joy-cons, specifically a design that is comfortable for people with large hands. Now I'm sure there are gamers with large hands that don't experience much discomfort with the setup. And to that rebuttal, I'm envious of you.

IMO the best controller ever has been the XBOX360's. That thing just melts into my hands.

I'm typically play platformers/action adventure games. This game looks like a nice change of pace. Thanks for the review.

My first memory of a Nintendo experience was my brother buying a NES for us. Track n Field was the game we played the most initially. There are many fond memories throughout the years. One that immediately stands out was my first impression of Metroid Prime. I remember thinking to myself how amazing it was despite my initial hesitation from abandoning the 2d plane. To this day, Nintendo still has a knack for impressive surprises.

All these Bethesda titles coming or possibly coming to the Switch is great news indeed! I will gladly give up some graphical prowess in favor of portability. I'm not sold on the Switch yet. There are a few concerns I'd like to see addressed. But this bodes well for Nintendo and their customers.

@Spike6958 Yeah I remember reading a lot of negative impressions on this one. With so many games to play, I'm passing on this no doubt.

This and Steamworld Dig 2 seem like amazing portable experiences. They are definitely on my "wanted" list.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I agree. The additional purchases of a memory card and pro controller is one ( two? ) of the reasons I have yet to buy a Switch. There is no way I can play games comfortably using the joy-cons. I tried out my buddies Switch. I'm waiting for a more comfortable option on controls, preferably without additional costs. I'm certain Nintendo will make variations of the system, considering it's replacing the 3ds as well as the WiiU.

@mauroh To each their own but you are neglecting yourself of 2 great games.

This and Metroid are likely the last 2 retail purchases for my 3ds. That's a lovely swan song to an amazing handheld. I remember when the 3ds was released, people thought it would fail hard because of the high price and the lack of quality games. We can debate about the price of the system but the library of great titles now available on the 3ds is staggering. I'm really enjoying Stories despite my preferences towards the typical Hunters games. Stories has so much charm. It's a joy to play. And who wouldn't want a baby Rathalos?

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I agree with your assessment of the Switch so far. I want to play Odyssey when it releases but I'm not buying a Switch unless they redesign the controls/tablet etc. Maybe by the time Prime 4 releases I'll be sold on one but improvements need to be made.

Still wish ZAMN was on the snes mini tho but this is cool

I'm excited to play Stories. I just love the presentation of the game. I don't prefer turn based battle but the Monster Hunter franchise has a direct line to my wallet.

Day 1 purchase for me. I love the art style.

The 3ds library of great games continues to grow. I'm excited for Metroid the most but Monster Hunter Stories and the M&L remake will definitely get some quality time in my handheld.
