@Banjo- According to Digital Foundry, Switch 2 is more like a PS4 in docked mode, with handheld mode being less capable.
That's been DeBunked already they used the wrong version of FF to compare the Switch 2 version is from PS5 and side by side matches PS5. So this was misinformation comparisons by DF and people are spreading this misinformation again.

I'll believe this when I see the numbers but I think people will be disappointed it's going to go the other way - more will join the fray.

It will powerhouse my wallet is what it will do first and then have to plan on getting patches to Switch 2 gameplay.

The Real test is when Switch 2 comes out and CyberPunk 2077 is livestreamed for all to see also like Doom Dark those two are what I want to see.

Here's my plan for "Key-Card" games for Switch 2, get a 1tb exSD and use that to store the "Key-Card" games and have a primary 1tb exSD for all my other game updates/DLC and when I want to play the "Key-Card" game just power-off and swap the exSD for the "Key-Card" exSD and start playing that again. If people are so hung up on Game preservation or eShop burning to the ground putting "Key-Card" game onto it's own exSD storage is basically Long-Term storage of the game and preservation of the game. You can copy the game data to computer and copy it back to another exSD card and use it again. It's most like the same as I did it for my microSD game when upgrading my MicroSD card to larger storage. I format to new Switch and copy the game data folder from my computer to the new microSD card and insert and play where I left off in the game on the new Switch. Alot of people are making that alot harder then it really is.

I am not surprised by a delay in China launch as well. This is doing a job on Nintendo Launch of Switch 2 for fans world wide. That June 5 release looks to be get farther and farther away as this goes on.

SteamDeck is more niche and sales volume is no comparison to "Current" Switch 1st Gen. Even size both Switch 1 and Switch 2 are smaller and more portable. I've seen in public more Switch being taken places then SteamDeck? Did we all see past Music Awards a Rapper holding onto a Switch as they came up to the podium-that to me tells alot.

Still have my 3 OLED, Splatoon, TOTK, Pokémon. The Switch 2 will join this family lineup and become the standard console to use. Those other 3 will be backup for games that can still play them so they will not be alone here. I will get one Switch 2 for now and second later for nieces and nephews when I can.

Besides that they will have to buy charger to match their Power demands, as a US based Switch 2 will not have EU type charger. And it better be a quality charger or fry your Switch 2. You spend 1,000s of EU to fly to US to buy and back? Whom got the better of the deal here?

Of course, Nintendo will likely one day take the Switch 2 servers offline which potentially means game over for download cartridges.
At that point Earth will become part of the Sun. This doom and gloom helps no one here. Wouldn't that be the same for Digital games?

@SuperRetroArt It states that pre sale items must be dispatched a maximum of 40days after the listing ends/item is paid for. It's over 40 days until the console is released so all the completed ones at the moment should be void. But eBay don't care, it makes them money
That's the problem they make money even though is no Switch 2 being sent out after being paid. It's like buy a car and dealer keeps the car. I suspect people would grab their pickfork and riot.

Same here this Article needs to be revised. It's a fake story from a fan to the poster of the article and the poster of that story has yet to background check that story but being anything bad Nintendo posted it. They got egg in their face now.

Just like my other posts I hope there are 3rd party hardware makers that will teardown and make hall effect replacement Joy-Cons 2 sticks to replace them.

I already replaced my Pokémon OLED joystick and my TOTK OLED replaced those even though I hadn't used them. To me I bought a replacement set and replace both controllers and bought another pair as back just incase. I hope somebody like 3rd party hardware makers tear it down and make new replacement Joy-Con 2 sticks.

Oh great another drift effect is coming out way for a 500 console? Is no one surprised now? So now it's a 3rd party to make the replacement Hall Effect joy-sticks? You can imagine this Switch 2 and how good it runs and plays will wear out more then the first one.

I am for the pure enjoyment of just running around and collecting and making some builds that I can use. It's the 1% going that route the rest of us will just enjoy our 4k out or portable dlss gaming.

Would've loved a Actual BOTK/TOTK on Switch 2 cart of the games. This would make collecting them or even buying worth the money spent. But now it's just a pathetic excuse when I already have BOTW(and JPN full cart)/TOTK version already.

Common Nintendo make a REAL Switch 2 game cart no code for a Switch game and pretend it's a Switch 2 game cart.

I suspect by end of the year Nintendo will get a new president with business background that understands both financial and marketing so both go hand-in-hand to avoid debacle as this. The biggest issue.
1. Not announcing the price ahead of the Direct or After
2. Not announcing the price of MKW what it would cost consumers
3. Being Silent in the face of people asking how much???
4. BIG FAIL at doing good PR during the Direct to tell why prices are what they are.
5. FAIL on clear message what Key-Cart means with the Direct and letting people make their own narrative of what it really is not. Website explaining what it is - is very clear what it is.
6. Core Gamers and Day-One buyers will get it but Families will have the flu as to how to get one and how much to spend.

If they are expecting Family buy-ins they did a very poor sales job to get General consumer to understand the why of the prices.

I hope this is a NS2 cart not a digital upgrade code this will be a not go well. If they are charging that much they can't put full game on a NS2 cart? This is why the needed something like the Notch on New 3DS games was it that hard to do?

I don't get people this mouse will be useful for Fortnite, COD and likes and then Minecraft or any other PC games that use mouse feature. It's not limited to NS2 games - PC games are coming CrossGen and this will only benefit NS2 consoles.

Found me both USBC mouse and a BT Mouse Logitech. When I do get a Switch 2 I might try these and find with works but the BT mouse looks like a good option to free up the USBC ports.

The need to do something about that red banner that doesn't do the game any service. Why couldn't they put that on the inlay or same size case but all red with legible lettering sayin NS2 and still make the case looks nice. I think the game cart is red but why they couldn't do something like 3DS to New 3DS carts so they are different and not able to insert into Switch OLED?

Could the case be the same but the ArtWork would say on the paper Switch 2? All that wasted plastic and no manuals??

Alot will depend on those with the current version on Switch v1 and what the upgrades will cost to get. Just a NSO not the NSO+ so I won't get that option.

I bought my sandisk too early and spent too much wished I bought Lexar 256 now. The 1tb at 199 and then GameStop at 149 just like the leaked screenshot showed. Those are still expensive maybe by holiday I will get a 1tb is Key-Card becomes the norm.

DF was left in the dust by Switch 2.
