Re: Nintendo Updates Its User Agreement To Crack Down On Emulation

Jester676

@fsoft Don't know how you can say Nintendo is failing when they have 150mils Switch 1 consoles sold and over 1billion software sales? Show me in these figures Nintendo is to fail???? Not to mention there are 2.2mils Japan consumer waiting and NA is sold out until after June 5, how is that also a wanting Nintendo to fail here? People need to remove themselves from their echo chamber and do some honest homework research before making wild baseless claims here. I was around let's see Commodore 64, and Atari and Ace Tandy computers and wanted NES when it came out but couldn't get one.

Re: Another Switch 2 "Code-In-Box" Physical Release Appears Online

Jester676

@killercereal This to me is a decent compromise. You still get the box and a cart of sorts.. Better than everything just being a download. Hell a code in a box is better than that.
Contradictions upon contradictions. Code-in-box isn't better having "Key-Card far better. CIB is tied to Nintendo account and if you don't want it anymore nothing you can do about it. I got the Switch editions Physical and just buy the upgrade. I get the best of both worlds Physical/Switch 2 upgrade and play on Switch 2 that is better then Code-in-Box.

Re: Gearbox's Randy Pitchford Admits Borderlands 4 Might Follow Nintendo's New Pricing

Jester676

@sanderev One doesn't understand a Publisher, Stop making assumptions here. They can make it "FULL" cart and charge accordingly they have no excuses here. They can make multiple SKUs one "Key-Card", (dreaded) Code-in-Box, Full Cart game. And let the consumer choose. There was that so hard to do? That will force Nintendo to make Switch 2 carts as 1gb to 64gb options if they want to see the Publisher's game.

Re: Nintendo Expects To Sell 15 Million Switch 2 Consoles This Financial Year

Jester676

@timp29 I did read somewhere people bought the PS to watch movie because it was relative inexpensive to game and watch movies on. That's what sold the PS system.

And fiscal year doesn't end at December 2025 but in 2026 so they could by that time have 20+ mils unit sold assuming tariffs doesn't jack prices.

@NolandC *to many fan boys eating this crap *
Huh? This is a Nintendo site what are you spouting about here?

Re: Another Switch 2 "Code-In-Box" Physical Release Appears Online

Jester676

@SaltySpitoon957 Not even a Key-Card release? Really? Typical 2K.
In totally agreement just give a Key-Card. They can fit it on a 64gb card and just charge for it. Or tell Nintendo give us 1gb up to 64gb card or no Switch 2 games???? It's the Publishers whom decides this not Nintendo-if enough of them makes it known Nintendo will do it. But they got no "balls" to do this.

Re: Nintendo Defends Switch 2's Perceived Lack Of Innovation

Jester676

This is why "Investors" have no clue what Innnovations means anymore. They most likely benefitted from the previous generations whom owned stock of Nintendo whom the stocks came from and lived off but didn't do their own "homework" to know what and ins of how to run a business to start with.

Re: Random: It's Been One Year Since Nintendo First Acknowledged Switch 2

Jester676

@HammerGalladeBro That be the first thing I do get my S&V and see what it does. And restart BOTW/TOTK with updates and ugh getting Harry potter for Switch 2....and get some of my Switch 2 and see what I can do then. Can't MKW yet because during that week until Sunday is when I will have time to Switch 2 but I will get my gripcase and Screen protector setup first before playing.

Re: Xbox Branded Handheld Photos Leak, And It's Not Quite As Slick As The Switch 2

Jester676

it won't provide a great deal of competition to the Switch 2. Like current PC handhelds on the market, they appeal to a completely different audience
That's what it is two different audiences that game on completely different platforms. It's that the Switch 2 can now cross-over to XBox games ported to Switch 2. This increases XBox revenues and gets more people into the portable gaming. That's probably not the final iteration of the unit itself.

Re: Nintendo May Record Video And Audio From GameChat Sessions On Switch 2

Jester676

So it's not like you'll be getting complete strangers joining your GameChat sessions, but an extra safety measure is always appreciated.

It's also been confirmed that children 15 or under will need to be approved via the Switch Parental Controls smart device app before using the GameChat service.

They are approved by a family member of 18 years old and in your family group and parents approval. So what are they really looking for? This is so convoluted it sounds more like 1984 then anything really related to security. It's like the iPhone face checking and your Smartphone listening and watching you. This has no bases to stand on.
