Considering you can use the Joy-Con with Switch 2 I think they could make it work for Switch 2. Until they make RingFit 2.

I think it's the other way around Switch 2 will support Switch 1 controllers not the other way around. Haven't see or heard any Switch 2 hardware talk saying other then that.

@AstroTheGamosian As it is, the Switch 2 should be powerful enough to run a game like Genshin Impact.
I would live that but I think Nintendo probably won't let that happen.

@Indielink Did you see it was FF7 inter not the older version. SF6 is also for PS5 as well. GT6 can come to Switch 2 whom to say otherwise-the Devs haven't said otherwise statements. DF has no credibility they been debunked already and have yet to fix the message-it's not a PS4 pro but if you want to believe that then your being left behind. Example of how a PS5 and XboXS struggle?

Same here where are they? China hit with 125% is outrageous and PS5 will rise in prices until Sony can diverse their manufacture to is less tariff heavy regions.

@montrayjak It's feeling more and more like this really should have been called the Super Switch over the Switch 2.
Then PS should be calling their PS5 Super Super PS? There is a really good logical reason it's called Switch 2. That stops any confusion what a "2" means.

I find Sophie Smart comments not very inspiriting from a indie developer.
Here's are some comments of concerns they will got only "Key-Cart" no physical cart game.
However, I do feel that Nintendo played it safe and stuck with the winning formula of the Switch, whereas we are used to Nintendo completely reinventing itself between generations.
Switch hardware designs is a winning formula everyone else is try to make theirs look like a Switch???
I can imagine an OLED version or a version which is slightly more powerful or holds a longer battery life would be something people would want!
GPU is going to take most of the battery. OLED will not drain the battery it's the GPU.
At the end of the day, the power upgrades are not hugely rivalling other competitors.
What are they smoking here it's a huge upgrade to rival PS5 levels but not hardware levels. I think someone doesn't see the potential of Switch 2.
However, we still like to do it for some games because it’s really cool to have a physical box with art which you can hold in your hands of the thing you’ve worked on! We’ll likely end up taking the same approach with Switch 2.
This is a sign their studio is looking to make "Key-Card" games not full on-cart games. Physical box art doesn't matter when you don't have a full on-cart game in it.

Folks this is his own Opinion and taken with grain of salt. The upgrade in Switch 2 and GPU to power games that will make this look far better then other handheld consoles to the next levels. It just sounds like he can't accept that Switch 2 can now play with the big boys camp. It's a "Taboo" that Switch 2 can do what he doesn't want it to do. Can't see why they would ask a ex-Sony rather then a ex-Nintendo to get perspective but they probably have NDA so they can't talk about recent techs.

@ThatZeldaNerd No Problem...it's that no other consoles uses or have Amiibos. This is something so Nintendo that it's a love or hate Amiibos.

@kevmauldin Yeah, I know at the rate were going with Nintendo it's look like May 8 a month before release of Switch 2. I think because of the stop from Nintendo they have to work with all retailer and shippers to get everything on track.

@ThatZeldaNerd Most if not all knows as long as we have Nintendo the Amiibos will always be there and new ones will come in the future. They have so much IP characters they haven't finished the lineup yet.

As anything we all carry around our ID aka Driver or Identification all they is register that for that purpose and no one can buy more then two as that will show up in their system.

I like to preorder them but at 30 a pop that is crazy...

@Anti-Matter Meanwhile, I still have low hype with Switch 2 after I found a lot of disappointing stuffs from them. Even Switch 2 have almost like PS4 PRO power, but I still prefer getting 3rd party kids games on PS5 for my favorite Blue color game box, more power to keep the games get stable 60 fps and faster loading time.
It's no wonder you have disdain for anything Switch now. The fact you clinge onto falsehood and put down the Switch 2 even when it's show it's on par with PS5 levels is pretty sad. The tech in Switch 2 is up to levels of PS5 so that scares you alot a Switch 2 could get high tech to match PS5 levels. If it let's you sleep by pushing down switch 2 then that's your flavor of the day even thought PS4 is dated tech now. As another poster said they now see the real side. PS4 released on on November 15, 2013 that is already dated tech.

It's beginning to look like the Nintendo Online Preorder of May 8 if that is what it is will be when other PreOrders will be happening. Not sure if this is good or bad....

The Rise of price for PS5 doesn't help it sell more console, people will wait longer to buy one or if they get one and that will be for a long time.

Now only if NA can our Preorders.

@Spider-Kev At least we know, what is boring to one isn't boring to another. That's the point when people sounds like that is the rest of us is when I there is issue. Knowing how people judge a game then just making blanket statements-and this might not be their game and that's fine. Just don't like people make blanket statements and then expect the rest fits in that mold. Not every game is for everyone even if the finish the game.

Not surprise both Zelda series are up in the ranks. If the Switch 2 is full cart I will consider getting them to collect. As for BOTW/TOTK I'll try to get Switch 2 and pay for the Switch 1 upgrade.

@SuperRetroArt I know the Scalpers knows what they are doing even if it just one Switch2 if you eBay sell it for what you poreorder or paid for it plus shipping.

I notice lately on my reporting they are using Bots now to prevent people from reporting scalpers. Looks like eBay is supporting scalpers by using Bots to make pathetic excuses and say doesn't violate their terms and not even look it says 40 days after listing or sale must have items to send out. Look like eBay is just scummy as the scalpers. And must post a delivery date as well. So now eBay has become the new scummy....

@NCChris Problem is I got the DLC for BOTW and they should have it on there so those whom bought it already just fires up the game and it detects and install the DLC. That's not hard since the DLC is already purchased by me and is registered to me.

Rightly so, One Switch 2 many games that's where the bread/butter is at for all consoles if you don't sell the games your console doesn't sell bottom line.

It's one choice to buy a Switch no one is forcing them since they willingly handed their money by choice to Nintendo? Do they even reflect on that? @sixrings Why should they? They aren't Developers for Nintendo software or other 3rd Party IP? There's probably a good reason Nintendo doesn't allow them to have a Dev kit or Switch 2 functional unit in the first place. And that is only for Nintendo HQ to know. @teo_o Their ballpark was "All StrikeOuts" they used wrong data and GPU when the GPU Switch 2 was total redesigned ground up for Switch 2 "Exclusively". That's what they still don't admit they missed the ballpark. They so far haven't admitted to making mistakes on Switch 2 specs that's so easy to fix and to use PS4 FF to compare to Switch 2 when in-fact it's the PS5 FF version that Switch 2 FF is based on. They got their own issue for not addressing mistakes they could but won't do it. That's called giving misinformation and not re-addressing it and fixing it. They should do their own replying to fix it instead of having others do that for them.
