Is the character a duck? or Mask? Looks like a BOTW/TOTK open-world type game.

If that is the case for Switch 2 games why would one even buy them? Then one would use their BOTW/TOTK Switch 1 games with upgrades does that mean this doesn't work???? They need to seriously fix this or explain what they are doing with Cloud Saves.

@Ryu_Niiyama That's a big issue Scalpers scalping Amiibos makes it just as worse in Switch 2 scalping.

I don't like how the price is going for Amiibos they aren't like AAA games prices. But they don't tell us why the price hike? That can't be from just tariffs. Amiibos are used in games or gives extras content in other games aka Zelda Amiibos. But I do collect them but also use them. They do make for display showcase as well.

That's the point of the game it makes it challenging and makes one strategize the game more.

Internal is good, I wished they could let us expand to 512 I would love that. And 256 won't last if you get Switch 2 games aka CyberPunk 2077 at 64gb not that they fitted on 64gb card. But some games will come at that range "Key-Card" and "Code-in-Box" will hit those limits.

As others said it would be nice to got exSD 1tb but that is eye popper after you drop 459 or 499 on Switch 2. If I decide to drop 499/MKW that will be awhile before upgrading the exSD 256, I currently have waiting for Switch 2. Even lexar 1tb at 170 or so that's half Switch 2 price. If it drops farther under 100 or they have a exSD 2tb that will be different and I hope they release one before Holiday. If anything since I have the 256 I will get a 512 next pay and use that for "Key-Card" games only.

At this point no one knows since no one has gotten their grubby hands on on to tear down or test how it works. And anything said by Nate is just that PR talk he's not going to give the lowdown on the control sticks.

@dskatter Then don't buy Switch 2 or the games. If you feel that much. The rest of us will move on and keep gaming. You clearly don't want to clearly doesn't fit your narrative which is what misinformation is exactly.

@dskatter No they are not where are you reading this at? If you want to damage your Switch 1 console and Switch 2 game cards be my guest and damage them-no warranty will fix that for you. This isn't the same as USB2 to USB3. Your making a false analogy to to give misinformation. Did you not read the link and what it says. There is a big design difference between Switch 2 cards and Switch 1 cards. Not just capacity largest seen for Switch 2 cards are 64gb aka Cyberpunk 2077 and read speed are different and come complete on Switch 2 minus DLC aka BOTW. You can't put Switch 2 card in Switch 1 Only Switch 2 will take both Switch 1 and Switch 2 cards.

@dskatter It says Switch 2 and upgrade pack together. It says you can buy the upgrade separately. Where does it says it's Switch 1? That upgrade sounds more like for Switch 1 version to upgrade.

If you click on the Platforms. They clearly are different one is Red Switch 2 and one is Switch 1 version. The listing clearly states one is Switch 2 "Red" and Switch 1.

Here's a contradictions in their own statements:
According to the site, the red Switch 2 cart contains the full Switch 1 game and the Switch 2 Upgrade Pack, but it can be inserted into and played on either console.

The publisher states that you won't need to download the full game to get it running on Switch 2, but instead, "the correct version will launch automatically" once you've put it in your console.
How can both be correct? I think their PR got the message wrong Switch 2 carts aren't made for Switch 1 consoles. Right in this last comment they made they clearly say "Switch 2" nothing was mentioned of Switch 1. They do have a Switch 1 version LE for Switch 1 that I preordered but that one never says Switch 2 edition on it.

@Solid_Python Nintendo Switch 2 edition are for Switch 2. Anything Switch 2 are exclusive to Switch 2 console and come in Red Cart.

That can't be I saw another youtuber show how the design of the Switch 2 cart doesn't show that it fits with the Switch 1 console? So what are they giving more misinformation now about the Switch 2 carts? I think they got their wires crossed Nintendo does

@Ryu_Niiyama So true this will be something I drive to PreOrder and hopefully I am able to at least PreOrder one.

@Ryu_Niiyama I am hoping not midnight campout but if they have 100's units for GS stores that will help coming that morning of 24th to just PreOrder Switch 2 and maybe Joy-Con2 charger. As for games that might be on backburner depending if I can get them.

To those in US and Canada there will be alot of belt tightening as how to get Switch 2 or how to do it without breaking your budget is what's going to be the choices here.

My plan again a pipe dream.
1. Get a 512/1tb exSD for "Key-Card" games
2. Get a 512 for all other games but would like to get a 1tb exSD but getting two is like getting two Switch 2's already. ugh....
3. Most like 512 for all games/DLC and 1tb for "Key-Card" games.
4. Future maybe get a 1tb exSD and move the 512 data to the 1tb exSD

This move isn't going to be easy by any stretch of the imagination here.
But if I get MKW then it's going to be the 256 exSD first use and then plan for how to do for "Key-Card" game which would most likely be the 512 exSD if anything.

What's with the doom or gloom. Everyone got a choice here and with it's system the first time core Nintendo will sellout for but there are families that must really think about this. Try thinking 4 kids how do you spread one Switch 2 around???

I got the 256 but will wait to get the 1tb later. The Switch 2 purchase is alot to muster. It's the "Key-Card" games that will for me determine the size as well.

@Elitepatriot This is Switch 2 edition update this isn't Switch 1 version. Your clearly thinking it's a Switch 1 cart with DLC code. Like I said you can purchase upgrade for both BOTW/TOTK those with NSO+expansion already have this free upgrade.

huh? These are Switch 2 game exclusives carts that don't fit in Switch 1 and have updates for graphics/performance. What do you mean reasonable pricing? You can buy the upgrade packs you have that as a option.

I can't both of mine are LE versions....I'll get the upgrade and buy to keep the Switch 2 versions sealed. You'll be waiting a long time if that...in 10 years when Switch 3 comes...

I think alot of Switch 1 owners will be the test when it finally comes out if they games owned plays and what issues they will get playing on Switch 2.

They might just come out with a Witcher 3 Enhanced Switch 2 version, which I hope they don't just do and give previous Witcher 3 owner a upgrade pack to play on Switch 2.

I think the first would be that those that want to buy it be able to get one if they have enough inventory to sell in EU, NA and Asia regions as well.

@HammerGalladeBro There's YT video showing the card is designed differently and will not work in Switch 1. The Switch 1 can't handle the specs for Switch 2 to start with. Nintendo clearly has said as much but no one seems to read what they say.
