Re: Where To Pre-Order Street Fighter 6 amiibo

That's just silly money for amiibo.

And having just seen the size of SF6's download size, I'm suddenly not interested in picking it up digitally (or as a GameKey card). I really hope there's a proper physical version down the line, but this is Capcom and I'm in Europe...

Re: Opinion: A Few Too Many Questions & Unwelcome Surprises Are Taking The Shine Off The Switch 2 Reveal

Nintendo used to be all about that almost child-like, fun element. Now they just seem like any other big company, nickle and diming you at every corner. Yes, I'm still a fan of Nintendo's IP, hence me being here, but the 'shine' seems to have gone from the company. For me, the decline started during the Switch-era, but with Switch 2 it's obvious that catering to the shareholders comes before the gamers/fans.

I very much doubt I'll bother to 'collect' for Switch 2 when I eventually get one, so at least that'll allow me to fill the gaps in collection of previous generations. I just don't feel the excitement this time around, and I'm sad to admit that.

Re: Talking Point: Zelda: Wind Waker Is On Switch 2 - Do You Still Want A WW:HD Port?

The HD version is fine, but nowhere near enough of drastic improvement over the original to justify a separate purchase. The GC version on Switch 2, with it's upscaling and such will be more than sufficient.

Nintendo is hell bent on getting everyone onto NSO, so I expect we'll also get Twilight Princess further down the line too. Once everyone's hooked on the NSO Expansion, watch that subscription cost get a hike.

Re: Sale Predictions Remain Unchanged Despite Switch 2 Price Concerns

We're not going to see any real indication of how well it's doing with casual consumers until after this Christmas at the earliest. After that I suspect things will start to slow down quite a bit more than they did for the OG Switch.

Over €500 in mainland Europe for the MKW digital bundle is not going to be popular.

Re: First Impressions: Nintendo Switch 2 'Wows' Most When You Go Back To Your Old Switch

I feel this is going to run into some of same issues as the Wii U did. Namely being more expensive for essentially better graphics. Most casual gamers and families don't care about that stuff, so paying a premium for similar game experiences, when the Switch already has such a massive library, isn't much of an incentive to upgrade.

Yes, it'll definitely have a bigger library than the Wii U did, but those price hikes across the board will be off-putting to most, even to some of us Nintendo 'diehards'.
