IGN gave this a 10/10- their first 10 in over a year. For comparision, Astro Bot ( game of the year) got a 9.

I want an attachable second screen. The Nintendo Super Switch with the Super DS add on for $99.

It works great on iPad, so hopefully they have touch controls.

I would pay $100 for Rare Replay on Switch.

I have an Xbox one… but the only game I really want on switch is Rare Replay. I want it handheld and it just seems like it should be on a Nintendo system. Make it Rare Replay Deluxe and include the Nintendo owned ones.

At least put the regular on Steam!

@Pod I never played it when first released (I know they patched a lot). The “final” version I played was great. I didn’t get all the disappointment.

I do not remember this game being that dark at all. Was it made brighter for switch?

@LikelySatan I wanted to love the Nitro Deck…but it just didn’t feel right.

@NintendoByNature I know! I think DK is my favorite platformer. I love Mario but the challenge of DK is much more rewarding. Come on, it’s been 10 years!

I can wait for Prime 4 for Switch 2. I would love Prime 2 remastered here. Realistically if the Direct is 40 minutes, at least half will be 3rd party. Nintendo will show a Luigi 2 HD promo and NES world championship. That doesn’t leave much time for surprises. I do have a ton of games I still need to play, so it’s ok.

@Morsel let me guess, you didn’t complete the final level? That was a beast. The invisibility portion tortured me.

Honestly who can select 10? It’s an average game (5 or 6). My 7 year old daughter loves it… but how can it compare to Zelda, Mario, etc…( to the people that said 10/10).

@-wc- what’s you get started it’s not that hard….just be warned, it’s addictive.

Now I wouldn’t mind having a Series X but with kids and a budget I have to prioritize. Now I stick to Nintendo (favorite since falling in love with SNES as an kid) and a Steam Deck. Portability in bed at night works best for me. Microsoft has good games- most of which I can add to something or get on the Steam Deck. My current favorite is my SNES Classic with Hakchi added for all NES and SNES.

@AnVold yeah those are good. I guess maybe steam deck changed my perspective on the portability aspect. Most portable games are better on the deck and if they are not steam it’s pretty easy to add them other ways.

@BenjiTProcrastinator nice comparison of what it could have been! Since we are not getting that, I’m hoping for a LOTR type major epic.

@SpaceboyScreams those movies were not great but I’m not sure it was because of directing. I’ll be curious to see how the new Planet of the Apes movie is.

Let’s be honest…just rename this best Nintendo games. We all buy a switch because of Nintendo games.

@-wc- I liked it better than the “new” look. I agree nothing can touch World for 2d and Galaxy for 3D. They are perfection. Super Mario World is what started my love of games….and it’s not just nostalgia, it’s simply an incredible game.

@-wc- What did you feel about Wonder? I thought it did a decent job combining ease of play with difficulty.

@Clammy what did you not like about Wonder? I put it top 5 for 2D Mario.

The one Mario game I could not get into.

There are SO many good ones but nothing will ever beat Super Mario World. As a single package Super Mario Allstars on SNES.

@-wc- I agree. The Steam Deck kills the Nintendo Online games aspect. I still support Nintendo and buy many first party games- even Paper Mario ( at a ridiculous $60).

I’ll get it but $60 for a 20 year old game…that’s rough. Especially considering really easy to play on steam deck.

Forget this news. I’m more excited about Paper Mario and Luigi…but $60 is steep (not surprised).
