E3 2021

E3 will be adding something new to the mix this year thanks to the announcement of the 'Official E3 2021 Awards Show'.

Set to be broadcast on Tuesday 15th June, the last day of E3 2021, this awards show hopes to "determine the most anticipated games of the event." Editors from games websites IGN, GameSpot, PC Gamer and GamesRadar+ will be selecting from titles that appear during E3's four-day event, with the results of their voting being announced during the awards show itself.

"For this year’s event, we are collaborating with editors at some of the world's leading video game media outlets to create the Official E3 2021 Awards Show, recognizing the show’s most anticipated games," says Stanley Pierre-Louis, President & CEO of the ESA. "The broadcast is going to be packed with exciting announcements and reveals, and celebrating innovative publishers and developers is an ideal way to close E3 2021."

As noted above, the awards will have a focus on the 'most anticipated' game from E3 as a whole, and will also showcase the most anticipated titles from each participating publisher and developer.
