Super Mario Maker does not need the gamepad. Smartglass will also do the job quite well. To me, the best game that uses the gamepad is Zelda Phantom Hourglass (ds game).
Big Red Button finally admitted that it was their mistakes to screw up sonic. To recall, they had five years of developing time:
According to Rafei, the problem with Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric was the team being overly ambitious.
"First and foremost, we wanted to make sure it was a strong platformer, that we were true to Sonic’s sense of speed," Rafei says about early ideas for the game. "We had an amazing early start to the project. We had a very strong prototype. Everything was looking very good."
Sonic Lost World is the best, followed by Color and Transformed. I even like Sonic Unleashed - the werehog level is pretty fun and features some good platforming. Just remember not to play it with wiimote because the control scheme sucks.
Nintendo does not make games with mature content - what I mean by mature content is not violence, but content that is suitable for adults. Look at Life is Strange on PC and other consoles and you will understand why. Sometimes a game does not need to be high in review scores - it just need to suit the target audience. That is no point to an adult player when a game has a perfect score for kids.
@Humphries90 I am ashamed to say that Pirate Curse was my first Shantae game, and it is not as good as everyone says. Elliot's Quest is better and more metroidmania like.
It shows that Nintendo is wrong by NOT distributing NX game development package to Indie developers such as Moon Studio. The game drought will happen again for NX.
Retail games are usually cheaper than digital downloads. If you are willing to wait a bit, a US$59.99 game can be purchased in a retail store or amazon for $49.99 or cheaper. For countries outside America, a new release usually cost 8 dollars cheaper immediately.
So what is the incentive of buying online? The reward from buying downloadable games is usually offset by the discount from buying physical copies anyway.
This is a LONG game. The open world is big and you will get lost often. At the end the difficulty ramp up quickly, but you have unlimited lives to go through anyway. Overall, great title!
Nintendo does not need third parties. All reviewers are wrong to say that Ori is good. The only good game last year is Mario Maker. Therefore, as like Wii U, NX does not require third parties.
@8bitforever Actually, I have a Wii U and Xbox One. However, being a fan of Japanese games, PS4 is pretty attractive. I can see why people will buy a PS4 now.
@umegames Nintendo fails again. Customers have bought Wii U for 2-3 years and now they are announcing the new console again. Don't mention all the game drought on Wii U particularly for early adopters.
Just four years after the initial release of Wii U, Nintendo makes another new console again, failing those early adopters of Wii U who tolerate over one year of early game drought.
Majora's Mask has much better and innovative story, and Ocarina of Time has much better dungeons (but more plain story). Majora's Mark is such a memorable game.
@SamirMalik My time is very precious - i don't have time for a game that is considered flawed in its control by every reviewer except Thomas Whitehead.

Re: New My Nintendo Rewards Are Now Available in North America
Honestly, if Nintendo continues to shovel out these kind of rewards they should just shut down MyNintendo for good. Getting 15% off = no incentive.

Re: Review: Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (Wii U)
@jariw I am sure that Game and Wario is way better (it got extremely bad review everywhere except in Nintendolife and what does it mean)?
Re: Review: Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (Wii U)
@Tendogamerxxx Alien Isolation? Do you play mature game?

Re: New Sonic the Hedgehog Game is Coming in 2017
@the101 Lost World is the greatest 3D sonuc game. Sonic Adventure simply aged badly based on today's standard.
Re: Anniversary: Sonic the Hedgehog is Now 25 Years Old
this comment was unnecessary...-Megumi
Re: Video: Learn a Little More About Sonic Boom and The Rise (and Fall) of Lyric
@Not_Soos Big Red Button has 5 years to develop Rise of Lyrics. Look up the fact.
Re: Sega Gives Biggest Hint Yet That There's A New Sonic Game In The Works
@Yorumi @CreamyDream
(1) Lost World has excellent level design.
(2) Sonic Adventure games are not good according to today's standard anymore.
(3) Freedom Planet is NOT a sonic game. It is a mix of Rocket Knight Adventure with speed.

Re: Review: Star Fox Zero (Wii U)
@Rin-go @Vandy Oh! It is new to you that people write good review for money? How shocking!
Re: Review: Star Fox Zero (Wii U)
@Vandy You do not know that many people get paid to write review?
Re: Review: Star Fox Zero (Wii U)
The graphics look like Xbox 360's.
Re: Review: Yoshi's Story (Wii U eShop / N64)
I remember this game. The problem of this game is not its easiness, but the lack of anything that surprises or excites the gamers.
Re: Review: Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (3DS)
@feelinsupersonic Mario Party 10 and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash are the best games on Wii U!

Re: Review: EarthBound (New 3DS / SNES)
This game is indeed outstanding. It has a bit of grinding (which is outdated) but its battle mechanics is still very refreshing nowadays.
Re: Weirdness: You Can Now Play 3D NES Games In Your Web Browser
how come the Mario game in 3d look more fun than NSMB on Wii U?
Re: Talking Point: The Latest Nintendo Direct Showed a Renewed - Albeit Temporary - Focus on the Current Generation
Anyone still excited about Wii U? I don't.
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD (Wii U)
I am playing the Wii version of this game. The normal Zelda levels are very good but the werehog level is very boring.

Re: Ori and the Blind Forest Director Criticises Secrecy and Lack of Access to NX Devkits
@CHET_SWINGLINE Exactly, Nintendo does not need small studios such as this guy. This guy is probably on crack. What is Moon Studio, or Sun Studio?
Re: Ori and the Blind Forest Director Criticises Secrecy and Lack of Access to NX Devkits
Nintendo fans do not need Ori.
Re: Tomy Seems To Think Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice Has Been Delayed For A Second Time
@Detective_TeeJay As a sonic fan, I am definitely looking forward to Mario Tennis Ultra Smash 2.
Re: Review: Fire Emblem Fates (3DS)
I am tired of 3DS having many more better games than Wii U - it is unfair to Wii U buyers and especially those early adopters.

Re: Video: Sonic Colours Has Some of the Coolest Glitches
@wazlon You rightly sate the problem of Wiimote controller. Playing Sonic Unleashed with the Wiimote controller makes the game unenjoyable.
Re: Hardware Classics: Sega Game Gear
First game on gg: Wonderboy. That game is much better than Adventure Island on NES. Best game on gg: Shining force and Baku Baku.
Re: Video: Sonic Colours Has Some of the Coolest Glitches
@rjejr and you went to the bar washroom with Mario...
Re: Video: Relive the Glorious Madness of The Wonderful 101 With the 60fps Director's Edition Trailer
This game has extremely poor control - the drawing mechanism does not work. As a result, you play the game avoiding transforming into another form.
This game is the first game making me realise that doing calculus is easier than adjusting to the frustrating control.
