@screechums I agree that Mega Man 2 is amazing, and it is the first one I played as a child in the late 80s; however, Mega Man X on SNES is the first Mega Man game to truly blow me away. It will always be my personal favorite.
I guess my point is, there are some 80s kids out here too that prefer X. 🙂

Visually this reminds me more of Ultima 7 than anything else. It looks great!

Breath of Fire makes this very tempting. I still have my SNES copy, but being able to play it in handheld would be awesome.

I wish the Suikoden games would get ported to modern consoles. I never got the chance to play them during the PS1 era, and I really do not want to pay what people are charging for them on eBay to play the PS1 versions now…

I heard about this on Steam and found it very intriguing. I am really happy to hear it will be on Switch!

It will probably still release before Advance Wars...

...but yeah. There are so many strategy RPGs coming out this year that this doesn't bother me a whole ton. I am looking forward to this game, and I don't mind waiting longer for a more polished product.

I want them to pull the rug out from under us and have the whole Direct be about more and more sweet, sweet JRPGs.

@SmaggTheSmug The Capcom D&D beat-em-ups are great. Have you ever played Dragon’s Crown (PS3 & Vita). If you dig Mystara you would likely really enjoy Dragon’s Crown.

@FishyS The original Baldur’s Gate on PC was one of the best games of all time. Many aspects of it haven’t aged all that well, but it is still worth a play (especially for fans of D&D).

In my opinion, the Dark Alliance games were pretty mediocre even when first released, so I wasn’t super interested in revisiting them now.

Cursed to Golf looked kind of cool in previews I saw a while back, but it kind of fell off my radar since then.

@nothingface023 Good lord, yes. Hexen is such an awesome, underrated game that is a blast to play with other people.

Definitely the NA one here. The Japan one is too messy.

I own 53 SNES games and they all still work.
I also own a physical copy of every numbered Final Fantasy game.

@Desrever Ha! I actually came in here thinking it was the isometric Army Men for PC (which was also awesome) and was disappointed when it wasn’t.

I was hoping for the Gruntilda that is hot, but the Gruntilda from the game over scene, this is not.

The amount of drama surrounding this game release is off the charts.

@hefferj I still haven’t played this one, so I am pumped. I loved Ogre Battle 64.

I prefer Medieval settings over all else, so I will probably save that one for last. I might do prehistoric first as the look of that one intrigues me.

@Arawn93 I actually haven’t minded the voice acting in Triangle too much. The in-battle voice acting in Octopath got rather tiresome after a while though.

16-bit RPG quirks are a definite turn-on for me.

Harvestella (or Final Farmtasy as I have been seeing it called) is the only farming game that has caught my interest since way back when Harvest Moon came out on SNES. Although it is probably hard to put Harvestella neatly in the category of farming sim since it looks very combat heavy.

@Fizza Well, to be fair, sometimes Netflix can Netflix pretty dang Netflix. But yeah, there are a lot of instances where they Netflix a big, steaming pile of Netflix.

A very very good game? Oh yeah.

I wanted to get the original on Gameboy Advance back when it first released but for whatever reason never did. To this day I have never played any of these and would definitely buy ports or remasters of them.

@Fizza I really liked Octopath, I LOVE Triangle Strategy, and I am really looking forward to LIVE A LIVE and DQ III HD-2D. I am pretty sure I will purchase every HD-2D game they release. IMO they are the prettiest looking games ever made.

Brothers never frustrated me; however, it does hold the honor of being the only video game to make me full-on cry. That ending tho… yeesh… 😢

@Riderkicker And this is exactly why I was never comfortable paying new game prices to them. Once the shrink wrap comes off, it is no longer new.

I have been keeping an eye on this game, and the more I see the better and better it looks.
