While the statue, yes, is rather enticing,
my wallet does not agree with that pricing!
Grunty's gruesome physique, in all that glory.
The pricing for it, well, that's a different story.
As much as I love Banjo&Kazooie, the price is just absurd.
Some milk I spilled when I saw the price,
my bank balance just won't suffice.
Despite high quality that price doesn't jive...
I'd rather buy a Playstation 5.
Pre order now or she’l catch you? Is this a marketing site?
@Crono1973 It seems like you have missed the joke.
Grunty loves rhymes, you silly bloke!
I love stuff like this, would look great in my game room, but seriously how do people bring themselves to spend so much money on these things? Could I afford to pay for it? Yes. WOULD I pay for it? No.
I was hoping for the Gruntilda that is hot, but the Gruntilda from the game over scene, this is not.
is that some kind of threat?
@ryancraddock
Excellent stuff, Ryan, you're truly a poet,
Only question is, do you know it?
Good god she looks better than she's ever been looking
Makes me wish they had a new game cooking.
Wile yes the statue looks just right, the price is just a little too tight!
isn't that design based on the Smash Ultimate spirit?
Looks cool and enticing, but I won't buy that. I'll be waiting for the next adventure, starring a chameleon and a bat.
Geez, that price.
If that's what I have to pay for the statue, I'd rather let her make me one of her goons.
This is one of the few times Gruntilda looks pretty good in her "normal" form imo.
And I get that statues generally costs a lot but that price, oh dear...
Not really Nintendo related just because Banjo was on the N64. This is an Xbox game. I come here for Nintendo news.
@Zulzar its on NSO
That price is stupid
Just give us Banjo Tooie now please
Man, those prices are through the roof. I can't imagine many people willing to fork over so much dough for a statue like this. But then again, I have zero knowledge of F4F's sales numbers.
I’ve ordered them all. You only live once
@Crono1973 Yes, it is. Gaming news/reviews sites are innocent fun at first, but are a part of the advertising machine. There are many sites I used to frequent, but have deleted from my bookmarks because all they did was make me want stuff I didn't realize I wanted.
Fortunately, stuff that goes on "nerd shelves" or whatever people want to call it hold no interest for me. Tchotchkes, the lot of them. Bought at a premium, collects dust for a few years and eventually ends up in a landfill (or the ocean) at some point. I blame the Youtube/Instagram influencer community for this widespread interest... you see people's backgrounds coated in your childhood, and think "Oh that would look so cool in my room/apartment/living room." Maybe it would, but you know what would also look good? A few thousand dollarbucks unspent in your account.
Yes I ranted... tl;dr Nintendolife tries to sell you stuff on behalf of others, in addition to their more editorial work.
