Re: Soapbox: Free Game Updates Are Fantastic For Everyone, Except New Players

Yes. This article is 100% accurate.
I played Terraria a little bit when it first came out. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but then it fell of my radar for a while. I tried playing it again a year or so ago and it felt like I was playing a completely different game. I couldn’t get back into it and haven’t touched it again since nor do I ever plan to.

Re: Feature: Will These 10 Classic Western RPGs Ever Come To Switch?

The original Fallout and Fallout II were utterly amazing games, BUT anyone who remembers them well knows that A LOT of the dialog in those games would likely get censored/edited before these would be put on Switch. There is no way those games would have been able to get released as they are in today’s climate.
I am not condoning censorship nor do I agree with it. I am just pointing out what would likely prevent us from seeing this on Switch.

“Final Fantasy VIII's remaster proves to be just as weird and polarizing a release”

Indeed, it was VERY polarizing when it first released. I absolutely loved it and I remember a good friend of mine who was also a huge FF fan hating it with a passion. Some of the mechanics were kind of weird, but they were still fun and the characters in FFVIII were great. Google essays sometime regarding how Squall has schizoid personality disorder.
