I didn't expect to see a throwaway conversation line referencing "Fighting Street" in SF6. It's the sort of lame gag I made when I streamed; that's how deep of a cut it was.

Super Metroid wall-jumping was the only time it felt good in the brand (provided you only kicked off one wall and played with the keyboard, of course.); not sure why the other games required you to have two walls to jump between and sent you off diagonally.

With Double Dragon Neon having its exciting art style, Streets of Rage 4 having godtier visuals, and even free-to-play phone games from Korea having amazing live-2D art styles, there's no reason for this tired fad of pixelcrap to continue.

@UmbrageHill Dex is outstanding but considering you can regularly get the PC version for one damn dollar, I wouldn't jump on the Switch version until the price comes down.

Got my 8bitdo SN30 Pro in original SNES-pad-repro colours as well as a PS4 pad synced up with the 8bitdo-ngle. This new pad is nice for people who don't already have better alternatives, though.

Dig the idea and the style, but it seems really rough. I mean, just check out the trailer and you'll see tires clipping through hoods, and is that just one tire squeal sound used over and over?
Here's hoping it comes out, is good, has enough Eurobeat, and an AE86. I've yet to enjoy anything this publisher has put out, but I'm sure it'll be worth the buck it'll cost me on Steam when I finally decide to pick it up.

Cute, but still not an excuse for the murder of the Virtual Console. Overcharging for ROMs is one thing; pretending access to ROMs is some kind of paid premium privilege is another degree of stupid altogether.
