Re: Review: WarioWare: Get It Together! - More Magnificent Microgame Mayhem

Loved that this game reviewed well but I have always been hesitant to try the series because I was not sure there is enough bang for your buck for people who just like to play alone, I wonder if the game has enough longevity to be worth the price. I am very tempted though, this game looks so incredibly wacky and fun, something we need more of in games.

Bought Broken Age a long time ago and finally got around to playing it, the game definitely has that trademark Double Fine humor and reminds me why I loved Psychonauts so much and why I want to play the sequel, (seriously if no one has played Psychonauts go check it out it is one of my favorite 3D platformers.) It's only on Xbox and Playstation though.

Playing some Fortnite and tried out the Minecraft Dungeons trial, it's suprisingly good, wish it was on sale so I could pick it up. I think it would be a good idea to discount games that are giving a free trial kind of like they do with gamepass, so if you like it enough you can just buy it for cheaper and continue where you left off.

Re: Metal Gear Creator Hideo Kojima Is "Afraid" Of A Future Without Physical Media

Once everything is fully digital I will have to reconsider whether or not I want to continue to support the newer stuff that comes out, the idea of not being able to buy physical versions of Zelda and Mario is not very appealing to me, I don't care so much about other systems as I have tons of games digitally on PlayStation but Nintendo developed stuff I always buy physically.

I loved the story mode of this game, after playing this game and dabbling with the Sims 2 on PC I was surprised that there was no story mode, the series lost a large part of the appeal for me because of that, I like having an established goal where you feel like you are progressing rather than just making your own story.

We need more classic Sega franchises to come back from these indies because they will do an infinitely better job than Sega, Golden Axe would be a cool one to tackle next. I will definitely keep an eye out for the TMNT game because after SOR4 they have proven they can take a classic formula and make it better.

This has been my go-to series for beatemups ever since I was a kid and first played SOR2 on Genesis after my aunt gave me her copy, played it so many times with my brother and plan to do the same thing with SOR4, it is my favorite so far, the gameplay is just so satisfying.

Re: Review: Pokemon Unite - Pokémon Divides In Free-To-Start MOBA

@Dilly-Mick I have indeed, but in a game this competitive and skill based I don't think there should be a reward that makes you better inherently better, would prefer complete fairness for newcomers and veterans alike, that way victories are won via the ability of the player and nothing else. There are plenty of ways to provide rewards that do not give you buffs to damage and such, stuff that is just fun to have like cosmetic items, proof of the time you put in the game.

If only the game's microtransactions were purely cosmetic like most games, I can't see the sense in putting enhancing items that provide true advantages over other players behind a paywall, other than wringing money out of players, you should only be able to level it up by grinding, or better yet, remove them all together so it is fair for everyone no matter how much time you put in.

Re: Talking Point: Which Game Stage Have You Replayed More Than Any Other?

Dpishere

It's hard to say as the vast majority of the time I finish whatever game I start so I don't normally just play one level but if I had to take a guess perhaps Goldwood from Jet Force Gemini or Mumbo's Mountain from Banjo Kazooie. Or the Lighthouse level from Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, most Splinter Cell levels are fun to replay.
