If only the game's microtransactions were purely cosmetic like most games, I can't see the sense in putting enhancing items that provide true advantages over other players behind a paywall, other than wringing money out of players, you should only be able to level it up by grinding, or better yet, remove them all together so it is fair for everyone no matter how much time you put in.

Streets of Rage 4, been really enjoying this game. The survival mode added in by the dlc is really cool too.

@Spiders You really felt like you were researching the entire planet, learning about it's ecosystems and the creatures that live there. It is one of the better game worlds I have immersed myself in.

Haven't played most of these but from what I have Subnautica in terms of purely 2021 releases, loved exploring every inch of the planet, by the time I was done I felt like I knew the planet inside and out.

It's hard to say as the vast majority of the time I finish whatever game I start so I don't normally just play one level but if I had to take a guess perhaps Goldwood from Jet Force Gemini or Mumbo's Mountain from Banjo Kazooie. Or the Lighthouse level from Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, most Splinter Cell levels are fun to replay.

I just bought SOR4 yesterday and if I like it enough I will get the dlc, Max Thunder is one of my favorite characters, it just feels so wacky using a huge wrestler to beat up dudes.

My brother and I use to make it our weekly ritual to bring our two 3DS' and go eat out somewhere so we could get streetpass hits, good times. I really enjoyed having a reason to carry my 3DS with me wherever I went.

Very glad this game delivered, absolutely loved the original and never thought there would ever be a sequel.

That's a tad hefty for a remake of a Wii game, probably should upgrade my sd card at some point.

I personally want one to play older games, from the 2010s and back, this would be perfect for that, I don't know yet if I can justify the cost for it over a PS5 or Xbox Series X when those systems also have exclusives and will run games better because unlike alot of people I don't have a huge steam library.

They had their time, pretty much everyone has moved on so this is to be expected. The real question is how long their eshops will remain active, because Wii U is about the only place you can get a good selection of classic games via the virtual console.

I love Tim Burton movies and this game basically looks like a playable one, I will wait for the review but if it delivers I am going to pick it up.

I would argue consoles have the most demand for a port out of all. Especially Switch owners.

That is a great deal if you haven't bought any of the games, it's basically an all access pass to the Crash games.

As someone who is interested in the Steam Deck I don't even bother comparing the two in my mind, each one is well suited for a specific and different purpose, if you can ignore the fact that they are both handheld devices they cater to two very different userbases.

I watched a let's play of this game a long time ago on YouTube before this game was ever available beyond PC, kind of wish I hadn't cause it really is a unique game, one I would have liked to play with fresh eyes.

40 winks looks so cool, wish they would just port it to Switch, I love N64 era 3D platformers. That game has some cool history too.

I played this Minigame so many times just to see how many cuts I could get, when this game originally came out I loved goofing around with the motion controls.

If it is a good port this could be pretty cool, there aren't an enormous amount of zombie games on switch like there are on other platforms.

Very interested to see how this turns out cause I have always viewed Dragon quest as a traditional jrpg series and I always preferred it because of that, but if they can blend in new ideas I am open to the idea, just have to see it in practice, hopefully they don't get too crazy.

Probably going to wait until closer to Prime 4's release, which is fine but heck I would be ok with them releasing it right now, but from a marketing standpoint I don't see that happening.

This game was great while I played it but it is just too much of a time investment for me, too much grind, kept me from playing other awesome games.

Fortnite and Tony Hawk, nothing terribly exciting but good times nonetheless.

Not gonna lie the steam deck is tempting, save for the exclusives most games you can get on Switch you can also get on Steam, and for much cheaper and they will run and look better. The Steam Deck is going to be better for 3rd parties and playing games the Switch may never get until the Switch successor comes out.

After researching this product it looks really cool, a very viable alternative to the Switch and it even runs games portably better and looks better, and it can still dock! Very cool device.

Really they should have just replaced the original model with this and kept the price at 300 if it only cost them that much.

We just got a new game this year, I think it is ok for mobile players to get a game, whether you like mobile phone gaming or not.

@Chunkboi79 And yeah Nintendo does have mature titles if you know where to look, although I would argue their games are mostly all ageless.

@Chunkboi79 When I think of mature and Nintendo I don't think of gore, blood or any of that, that isn't Nintendo's domain, and I don't really care for all that stuff anyway, hence why I main Nintendo platforms.

@Clyde_Radcliffe Very true, which makes this even more baffling if it is 30fps. I can't imagine it being the Switch hardware that is the problem.

For a Wii remake I really expected 60 fps.

@Chunkboi79 Yeah they could use some more "mature" games, Metroid is about as close as we can get from Nintendo.

I sure hope so, I want Metroid to be as well known as Zelda and Mario, though even I will admit that is way too ambitious, still I can dream.

@anoyonmus Alot of people hated on Stadia cause it's Google but how is it from your perspective? An actual user of the service?

At this point I would rather they just don't bother instead of releasing a gimped version, it's almost insulting to players on Switch.

This does help encourage me to play it again, but I can't stomach paying full price for a game I have fully completed many times over. If it was on sale, (which is rare for a Zelda game), then I would consider it because lately I have been yearning for just classic Zelda gameplay, versus the open world BOTW style.

I wish they would bring Sonic Racing Transformed over, I have always wanted to play that one with its all-star lineup of Sega characters.

Have not decided, been playing Fortnite a bit lately, really enjoying the current season, could pop on Minecraft or Tony Hawk on Switch if I get bored. I generally focus on one thing at a time.

The more I read about it the more I think it is a solid value for just 50 bucks more, getting all the stuff included seperately would easily cost you more than 50 bucks. Still don't want one at the moment but if my current Switch ever quits I would definitely go for this upgrade.

Disappointed, but this was expected, it just means that there will be parity for all Switch games since there won't be a need for performance improvements due to better hardware. Guess we will have to save that for the Switch successor which is fine by me.

@Dpullam Yeah at this point in time it isn't worth the upgrade, maybe if my current one ever dies I would get this one but otherwise probably not, just not enough new features to justify it.

Finally, the screen will surely be lovely but there is no specific mention of improved framerate/resolution, until I see that I have little interest in it. Can't wait for the scalpers to get their hands on this though, it's going to be crazy.

I finished DQ 11 at long last so I actually got back into playing Minecraft lately, if I get bored of that I have Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 and 2 waiting for me.

Silent Hill would be the obvious fit for them.

That is perfectly fine, there is no need for any more characters imo, give the man a vacation, he deserves it, and maybe we will see something new from him in the future.

Awesome, I was watching my bro play the demo last night and I really liked what I saw, looks very true to the first game, instead of getting Mario Golf I may get this one instead and I am glad to know that when I do there is more than enough bang for your buck.

Continuing DQ 11, onto the post game stuff now, this game has some of the stronger post game content.

I am planning on picking both this and Mario Golf tomorrow or Saturday, been holding out on the Switch version of this game and I am very happy it holds up, can't wait to play it in bed.

I already fully completed the game twice and played just for the story once, I have little desire to revisit this game but for first time players this is a solid experience. Not the best Zelda but even the worst Zelda is still a very good game.

Nostalgia tells me Sonic 2, but in reality it's Sonic Mania for me, it was everything that made Sonic great.
