Also packaging is spot on, loved the little thank you under the sleeve when opening it, may not seem big deal to some but little touches like that is how you celebrate an anniversary
Just got home from work and about to give mine a go now
I'm 30, have no nostalgia for game & watch but do for the gameboy, so it's nice to have the precursor to the gameboy, or a modern re-release of the precursor anyway
I do think that just like mario 3D all stars they've over charged for what it is, and definitely should of included more games, would of liked to see more g&w games given I've never played one before
The lack of a kickstand is annoying, I want to see if I can justify using this as a digital clock on my desk and alarm
@HotGoomba___Rebrand that is rude, so are people saying nintendo dont do new games
Afterall we have re-release of mario kart 8
Re-release of super mario 64, sunshine, galaxy
Re-release of pikmin 3
Re-release of captain toad
These re-releases have nothing on the 3rd party ports of old PC games I already own and played at higher resolution and framerate but it's a truly remarkable experience to pay £50 for a 720p 30fps switch port!!!!!
@ChromaticDracula I'd love to see gameboy games on switch, or a remake of super mario land 2, gameboy was first nintendo device I ever had and playing switch in handheld sometimes evokes nostalgia for me even if it is a lot different to a gameboy
@sandman89 it's not so obvious if the guy is being sarcastic and pure speculation on your part
Its almost like you cant hear tone of someones voice on internet, shocker I know!
@Charinzardon The devs of the emulator wanted to charge a little more then what it cost for a nintendo subscription, yuzu wanted £5 a month iirc, official nintendo sub is £4 a month
What was you saying about just an excuse to not pay anything?
A lot of people here need to educate themselves on these things before commenting like they know what they are on about
Control uses the companies own engine, as does witcher 3.. witcher 3 came out over 5 years ago, control came out last year, control also uses more advanced lighting techniques
Seriously sick of this habit people have, pretending like they are experts on any subject
@NGNYS What you're basically saying is that you want it to be like battlefield, cod, fifa, assassins creed ect and I buy same game every year? No thanks.
I'm glad to wait 4 years from doom 2016 to eternal and more then happy to wait for quality products not rushed ones
@DarkLloyd Agree with you, I love the ones who act like they speak for all women when I know women who wouldn't be offended or find that ad inappropriate
It's such a cartoony and lighthearted ad and people are offended? Christ
@Slowdive I bought a driving force gt for my pc specifically to play arcade racers via emulation, some emulators like the sega model 3 emulator even let's you upscale resolution and widescreen hack, and force feedback of course
Playing things like scud race at native 1440p with widescreen and force feedback wheel in comfort of my own home is incredible ^_^
I'll be getting my sinden lightgun around december time and you bet I'll be playing lots of point blank, time crisis, virtua cop and house of the dead 2
I didnt spend much of my life in actual arcades and dont have much experience but damn I love arcade games
@BoostPower Sadly I feel that's a problem with the gaming industry in general these days, companies arent so quick to fund "out there" ideas and rather play it safe most of the time
I'm happy enough just having my physical sonic mania, even came with a little art book
Not tried sonic forces or team sonic racing but neither look particularly good especially compared to Sonic Generations and Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed
I think the internet helps with games like this, though I had never heard of it when I was a kid playing on my 64, I did however learn about this game through people on internet mentioning it
It's good to google things like "n64 hidden gems" and stuff to find less talked about games
Game Pass is pretty nice for playing latest titles but if assume on switch it also means using cloud streaming and not running on actual hardware, for switch owners like me I wouldn't do that when I can just use game pass on my pc and not use streaming
However Rare Replay? Yes please, the games on that should all be able to run on the switch?
Same time, if I compare how big the ps5 is compared to my PC tower.. it's not THAT big really
I mean yeah it's big but better then an overheating system, but that's also the nice thing about the switch, Nintendo not focusing on having high end power means having a more compact system
@Yellow Havent had a console since my xbox 360, well apart from my switch of course but my nintendo switch compliments PC very well, my smash edition switch looks great sat on my desk and barely takes up much room
Always liked both pc and console my entire gaming life but these days I see little reason to get consoles as they're basically just pc these days, tho the new ps5 and series x look interesting not gonna lie

Re: Sega Yakuza Producer Would Make A "Completely Different" Sonic Game, If Given The Opportunity
@BrintaPap lol at the notion of nintendo buying sonic
So they can resell sonic 1 multiple times and make it nintendo hardware exclusive?
Again.. LOL
Re: Sega Yakuza Producer Would Make A "Completely Different" Sonic Game, If Given The Opportunity
@BrintaPap lol?

Re: Hardware Review: Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. - A Gorgeous Object That Leaves You Wanting More
@impurekind Ones like in the screen shot is when it goes into sleep mode, just leave the device running and it'll do it automatically
Tbh wish there was a way to turn sleep timer that off
Re: Hardware Review: Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. - A Gorgeous Object That Leaves You Wanting More

@Alpha-2002 The new xbox looks loads better then ps5, the ps5 doesnt even support VRR lmfao
Re: Japanese Charts: Pikmin 3 Stays Top, Pokémon Sword And Shield Expansion Pass Makes Top Five
Nice to see Pikmin do well, not picked it up but will at one point, never played it myself so will be new experience
Re: Hacker Tears Apart Super Mario Game & Watch To Find Out What's Inside
@StevenG Yeah even tho I bought one and have all these mini consoles, they are just single board computers, simple stuff, in a fancy shell
I still can never resist tho, they just look so damn good on my shelf lol
Itd be far more awesome if they used fpga for any future mini consoles
Re: Hacker Tears Apart Super Mario Game & Watch To Find Out What's Inside
@Rodan2000 You think? I feel 8bit era had aged like a fine wine
Tho I am somewhat biased as I mostly play older games anyway and even very early 3d games doesnt bother me
Re: Hacker Tears Apart Super Mario Game & Watch To Find Out What's Inside
Cool I guess, though I have little interest in hacking mine as I mostly bought it as a collectors item, though I do wish they included more games
I'll play mine a few times on the odd occasion but mostly it'll just be proudly sitting on my shelf next to my mario 30th anni amiibo

@RasandeRose No games? It has games.
Re: Random: Turns Out The Xbox Series X Doubles Up As A Perfect GameCube Display Stand
Ah yes, block the fan exhaust vent with a other console!
Brilliant idea
Re: Review: Super Mario Bros. 35 - A Six-Month Jolt Of Life For An Iconic Classic
They need to keep it, I dont buy switch sub often but when I do I end up playing alot of snes nes, tetris 99 and now super mario 35
Hope they change their minds and keep it as part of the package
Re: '90s-Style 3D Platformer Clive ‘N’ Wrench Gets Brand New Trailer, Now Launching 2021

They did this as nintendo would seriously wanna shut them down otherwise, especially if the emulators servers were better then nintendos
Re: Pikmin 3 Opening Week Physical Sales Were Lower On Switch Than Wii U (UK)
More a price thing for me, never played pikimin and not looking to buy many games atm

They had nothing to apologise for, that's the most slapstick thing I've ever seen
Just because thin skinned people dont have a sense of humour does not mean they should be allowed to kill off satire and slapstick comedy

Re: Rumour: 'Switch Pro' Could Feature A Mini-LED Display, According To A New Report
Sounds great, a really nice battery life and 4k upscaling with a hybrid of oled technology for display would be fantastic
Tbh though I'd really like a VMU style display incorporated somehow

Re: Strife: Veteran Edition Shoots To Switch And Nightdive Discounts Its Turok Remasters

Is nightdives remaster of forsaken on switch? If not it should be since it was on the n64
Re: Minecraft Steve's Meat Gets The Chop In Smash Bros.
@GannonBanned Didnt talk about your last paragraph about models being weird for wanting to have clothes tighter to their body
Must be willful ignorance, you dont need to be heterosexual to see why they do it dummy
Re: IDW Releasing Sonic The Hedgehog Hardcover Comic Collection In 2021
Never seen the comics, something I'd like to pick up tho depending on the price
Re: Minecraft Steve's Meat Gets The Chop In Smash Bros.
@GannonBanned Yet nowhere in your post does it even say "I have no clue what this is".
And it's not like you elaborated after my post, instead of addressing what I said you resort to using a "I know you are but what am I" remark.
Re: Random: Not Everyone Is Happy With Cadence Of Hyrule's Interior Artwork
@MrBlacky which gamecube games or wii games had blank pages? Not sure why you're calling a blank white page "artwork" in first place but okay
Re: Random: Not Everyone Is Happy With Cadence Of Hyrule's Interior Artwork
@Tourtus Mine does, my only ones that dont have interior art is CTR and crash bandicoot
Its so odd seeing games these days having blank white interiors like that xD
