Re: Super Mario 3D World Trailer Shows Off Two Minutes Of Bowser's Fury Gameplay

Doktor-Mandrake

@mariomaster96 I dont mind re-releases, infact I think they're great even if I dont buy them (at least the choice is here)

My only gripe here is that it feels rereleases takes priority over fresh content.

Personally what I want the most right now is a star fox announcement, a great game that harpens back to the lylat wars era but adds on top of it to make it the best one in the series yet

Releases are nice to see but still just meh.. at least this one has some additional content added in I guess

Re: Nintendo Unveils Brand New 'Mario Red & Blue' Switch Console

Doktor-Mandrake

I like the look of this, especially with a lot of switches being less colourful, I do love my smash edition switch but I do wish the artwork on the dock was colour and not grey

Not that I'd buy one, I'm fine with just one switch and if it ever breaks.. well I doubt nintendo are going to stop selling them anytime soon

Re: UK Police Force Takes Issue With Pokémon GO Players Allegedly Breaking Lockdown Restrictions

Doktor-Mandrake

@TheSmashTheorist it's a mix of pokemon go and let's go that got me back into pokemon tbh, theres a good reason pokemon go is still popular i dont even play mobile phone games lol but it's nice to scan pokestops on way to work, hunt pokemon while I'm on I'm toilet at work ect

Turned 30 last august, dont recognise a lot of pokemon anymore the newer ones but let's go especially (gen1 ftw) reignited my love for pokemon a lot, and I feel on at that age where I dont feel as embarrassed to still like these kind of things

Tl;dr it's a casual game that's also a lot of fun for people who like pokemon, also has no real end game so people continue playing it

Re: Nintendo Is Now The Market Leader In Video Gaming's Biggest Region

Doktor-Mandrake

@AlienigenX I agree to an extent but even titles on nintendo software suffer from this, hence why we have no new f-zero because they dont think it will sell well enough

For me I've lost interest in a lot of modern games, theres still modern games I enjoy but last one for my switch i got excited for was luigis mansion 3, that was a long time ago now, picked up mario 3d all stars but meh

I really hope they've got some announcements planned that will get me excited, I dont play animal crossing so luigi mansion 3 was the last title I've had any interest in, I'm hoping we get a new star fox or something at some point

Re: Developers Of The New Perfect Dark Will Treat It "Very Carefully"

Doktor-Mandrake

@Arena1999 Yes, this guy gets it

The game definitely needs to be tailored for hardcore PD fans and not just "it's for everyone".. and it can expand upon the original, the original had exceptional level design that were amazing and imagine the kind of complex level design it could have these days

The weapons also have to feel satisfying and somewhat familiar, the gunplay in PD is still top notch, hell everything in PD is still top notch and hasnt aged abit imo, albeit I do prefer playing the xbla version over my old cartridge on my 64

Re: Developers Of The New Perfect Dark Will Treat It "Very Carefully"

Doktor-Mandrake

@electrolite77 Doesnt mean it has to be completely different PD is still a great game to play even today

Returning weapons, characters and use of multiple missions in the game when playing on harder difficulty.. why would a perfect dark fan NOT want these

Zero removed a lot of the core foundationa of what made PD great and it was god awful

Re: Video: 16 Brutal Minutes Of DOOM Eternal Switch Gameplay

Doktor-Mandrake

Hope people enjoy it, I certainly did on my pc

I prefer it over 2016, they change it a lot but doom eternal is way more intense and less focused on a mainstream audience imo

I feel like the core demographic here IS for people who already into these kind of shooters, even if it means putting off a more casual and larger crowd

Re: Random: The NSO Icon On The Switch Home Menu Is Driving Some Users Crazy

Doktor-Mandrake

@Supadav03 What entitlement? I never even said if I like the new icon or not, for all you know I like it

The point here is that people do and will complain about problems in the first world, your constant crying wont change that

Surely you have better things to do with ur time? I know I do

Funny thing is, at my age, I know that complaints can vary from degree, only a child would think only big issues can be discussed and not the smaller ones.

Re: Random: The NSO Icon On The Switch Home Menu Is Driving Some Users Crazy

Doktor-Mandrake

@Supadav03 the answers will come in time?

Well that's good because you didnt actually answer my question, also imagine calling someone in their 30s "junior"

Some people dont like the UI... deal with it.

This might surprise you but people have always complained about smaller stuff before you were even born, like weather for instance.. no amount of you crying is ever going to change that
