Re: Sonic The Hedgehog's Physical Card Game Locks In A September Release

Doktor-Mandrake

@Rohanrocks88 that's not even mentioning things like two point hospital that they own the intellectual property for

You said sonic is the only IP they have.. you were wrong, deal with it.

Love how you change the narrative yeah not like Nintendo use any of their old franchise names is it, and their IPs dont need to be on switch for them to own the rights to said IPs stop being so american about this, you are wrong, deal with it.

Re: Retro-Bit's Next Tribute64 Controller Offers Wireless N64 Play, And Pre-Orders Open Today

Doktor-Mandrake

Gotta agree with others saying we need one with the three pong design

Bought another 64 controller few years back, and its stick feels like brand new.. ky original 3 controllers arent perfect but still function OK enough to get enjoyment out of

The only gripe I have is when the stick wears out and also it's very uncomfortable the stick i find after few hours use, can start to feel blisters kick in there

All I want is a comfortable and reliable stick to go with the original design

Re: Rare Gives Us A Side-By-Side Comparison Of Banjo-Kazooie's amiibo And Totaku

Doktor-Mandrake

@HaileySheridon Theres articles out there and theres rare staff that specifically state they didnt like the work environment working with microsoft, which is why they left.

Nintendo basically just let them get on with it and make the games but Microsoft were a lot more intervening which is how it came to be a lot of those old gits now work indie like playtonic

Even nintendo didnt like seeing some of rares work too though, they hated conkers bad fur day and I doubt we'd ever see him in Smash which is a shame and a waste, wanted to see conker and banjo duel in smash

Re: Fight To Become The Coin King In Super Mario Bros. 35's Next Event

Doktor-Mandrake

@I-made-an-account Yeah it's still march 31st in some countries though

I'm getting some game time in while it's still active, probably be gone when I wake up tomorrow

Really depressing frankly, it was a great go to game for me after coming back from work, those short burst rounds are perfect, but even then sometimes I'd find myself playing for hours!

Re: So, What's Happened To Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time's Physical Version In Europe?

Doktor-Mandrake

@E1000 For me I play on my pc 99% of the time, if I want digital I'll just play it on there. Digital is nothing new you know? 2021 LOL

I've double dipped on games like nsane and its specifically because I wanted a physical copy too just like I have grown up with physical copies my whole life.

Literally all I buy on switch is physical, if crash 4 gets no physical I'll just buy it on my pc in 2 weeks time when it releases.

If you had to put up with digital only and always online drm on pc for years and years now, you wouldnt be so quick to kill physical off on switch console either.

Rather not have my games tied to servers thank you I have my pc for all that nonsense

Re: Nintendo Download: 11th March (Europe)

Doktor-Mandrake

@Outerdragon Yes I never like to use game they're terrible but couldnt find anywhere else that didnt just say digital, was so disappointed when I couldnt find physical on the nintendo store

Sort of impulse bought it in hope it would be here tomorrow with full game on a physical cartridge but now I dont even know

Game charged me delivery too while on nintendo store would of been free lol

Re: Japanese Charts: Super Mario 3D World Returns To Number One As Nintendo Dominates Proceedings

Doktor-Mandrake

@Mr-Fuggles777 Crossbuy is another nice thing they did, not all games use it but I think most if not all 1st party Microsoft titles you dont need to buy twice, if a pc player was to buy an xbox or vice versa

Yup game pass is good value for money really, played through gears 5 campaign and a lot of sea of thieves for £1 for a month so cant complain. Its handy for games to complete but know you'll never touch again after finishing them, makes more sense then spending £40-£50 a pop

Re: Nintendo Download: 11th March (Europe)

Doktor-Mandrake

@jarvismp It will be a waste of money on my part if that is the case, the only games I buy for my switch are ones that are on a physical medium and the full base game on the game card

I would of bought things like bioshock collection and spyro reignited for switch had they come packaged with the full games, already have digital versions of these games and handheld isnt enough of a selling point to me to double dip

Sad to see consoles leaning towards digital, one of reasons I like switch is that it feels more like a traditional console, at least afaik nintendo 1st party titles always come with the full game on the cartridge which I'm very thankful for.

Re: Japanese Charts: Super Mario 3D World Returns To Number One As Nintendo Dominates Proceedings

Doktor-Mandrake

@Mr-Fuggles777 Like you said they're definitely good value for money when you look at the power of them under the hood, even as a pc player I'm a little jelly heh

Dont think I'd ever get the new consoles though I'm quite happy just playing on my switch, pc and my old consoles.

I guess a lot of that is that I dont have interest in many new titles these days that call for an upgrade, the new halo infinite looks like might be decent but my pc can run that, exclusives definitely played a big role for my in the past probably why my only current console is a switch
