A Wii U version would easily justify another purchase. We love tha game on Xbox 360.

I predict Bethesda will regret it, like last gen. I've been wrong before, but I'm deeply concerned about the success of the twins. Their consoles look boring and overrated. I hope they do well, but I'll be sitting out this generation. Being a long time supporter of Xbox, it's going to be a sad year.

It's up there. The snow boarding and giants mansion temple were epic. If it weren't for the twilight it might be my favorite too.

I've got both and the vita is kind of boring. Good games count more and they both have great visuals.

I agree with Reggie 100%. Everyone knows it's out there. My dad bought a wii, but he doesn't care to buy a wii u. Wii already does what he wants it to; plays Netflix and golf. The high price and the power doesn't excite the average consumer. The wiimote was revolutionary, but there isn't anything new about wii u that is as compelling as wii.

Good system at a good price. You are paying for system life. If you wait you basically lost a year while the rest of us had fun. Premium entertainment comes at a price. If you want to wait a whole year to save $50, well that's up to you. If you want to wait until a movie comes out on video, that's fine. If you want to go out and buy skylanders spyros adventure now that it's a bargain, more power to you.

It just wasn't a good game, sorry to say. His games always look incredible and then gameplay gets the short end of the stick. I thought they were taking another 8 months to figure this out, but I guess not. Ill buy it when it's a bargain. Looks like a weekend game.

This is a great idea, now I can get my daughter one and not have to secure the 3d. Good price too.

BTW, battlefield is said to run better on ps3 over ps4. I think the issue is developers are learning new hardware. I think ubi did well with the new splinter cell given the work that was required to get it on wii u. I've never been a fan of forced download installs; developers should release a quality product the first time. It's understandable that an update may come, but it should be relatively small.

Xbox 360 has an option because not everyone has a harddrive. It's pretty simple to add a harddrive. The Nintendo site gives recommendations and links. Definitely need to include one in a future release, though.

I played it on vita and I gotta say it kind of missed the mark. While the concept and gameplay are excellent, the execution is dreadful. The car races were impossible and the missions were frustrating. This is a stressful game, not very fun.

@brucelebnd I understand the point you are trying to make, but even if the wii u had 12gigs of ram the twins are going to continue to try and market its weaknesses. Nintendo's best bet is to ignore them.

Good analysis. However, I still don't see the value in the release of the twins. They simply aren't compelling. Perhaps the best announcement was minecraft for ps vita, but everything else was hype. A release date and or packaging really doesn't mean anything.

Nothing is more crooked or corrupt than businesses actively registering patents of ideas without a product so they can later sue. Unfortunately this is an American business. When you have too many lawyers, this is what happens. So much for creativity or entrepreneurship.

Nintendo, you can fix this problem by publishing both games to the eshop and not hurt your relationship with this company.

@Yorumi My thoughts are some low level employees had some ideas about making some money, not approved by their management. They printed and used existing used copies and bundled them in used cases... Not hard to do. Who's at fault? The conditions were technically created by Nintendo when they didn't meet demand, in my opinion.

This is Nintendo's fault, not gamestop. I understand the implications for gamestop, but this is a recurring habit for Nindi. They need to meet demand or be fined by the U.S., because these keep turning into oligopolies.

I like my Wii U basic and gamepad, but thought Nindi's execution of the digital download promotion was extremely vague. Really not happy about that; didn't realize the Wii U basic would have to pay more for digital even though it's realistically the only unit that should be purchased if you expect to buy an external harddrive. I have to admit, they really screwed that up. Sony has 10% off most digital, plain and simple. I got robbed.

It's too early

I buy everything digital on wii u; only system that you can do that on because of strong replay value. The lack of account based ownership does concern me, but kids breaking discs and lack of convenience concerns me more. Getting the harddrive took a day or two and I have a bad habit of trading games in and buying them back later. Based on my purchase history this was a better option and would cost less in the long term.

I keep reading the competition's meaningless bullet points in people's remarks. These are non sensible. '4x more powerful' 'cable tv' 'region locked', nonsensible. You've managed to turn gaming into politics. Lets just have fun, right?

I love the Wii U. It's not competing with MS or Sony. It's competing with low priced game software like Apple's offering. This is the problem for the average consumer. They already forked out thousands of dollars for touch devices. The big three devs see this problem and will need to change to survive. I think Nindi will come out on top, but I'm more concerned about the twin brothers not being compelling enough to be successful. I have all systems, but my Wii and Wii U simply get played more because they have lasting appeal. The other two are trade in consoles.

Looks fun, but ill wait for the review before I consider a purchase. His games in the past have always had a short campaign... And that's it.

This game is fantastic! Took me by surprise; music and gameplay is incredible.

I liked this franchise when it was less violent and was about hiding and taking information. Not sure why they abandoned that concept.

We'll see if the Wii U's tablet features are widely accepted first. So far the possibilities look strong, but the tech is too expensive right now. Wii U needs some better marketing.

Home consoles offer something different, but some people can't tell or don't care. Entertainment is expensive these days with subscriptions and annual device releases. People are having to restrain their budgets, knowing that it's either increased cable cost or home game console with Netflix. You'll have to pay a little more for an enhanced experience. I think the next generation will see growth in game consoles largely due to retirement aging. For now, expect huge growth in technology spending on junk as the competitive landscape continues to get bigger.

America 30% off 101 with purchase of pikmin 3??? Or are we deep pockets?

This is largely a reflection of the industry, not just Nindi. The big 3 are up against inexpensive streamline games. Wii U is shifting to support small scale projects, which is what they need to do to survive. Ubi, EA, and Acti need the big 3 to succeed in selling expensive consoles or they will fail.

Woah, slow down with the hype. Pikmin 3 hasn't come out in the states yet.

Their execs will explain that batman didn't sell well on the Wii U, but gamers aren't stupid. When the bargain bin has it for $20 or less, we aren't going to buy a year old port with some armor gloss on batman for a whopping $60. Not to mention, it simply wasn't as good as asylum. You're sick the whole game falling over and coughing blood. It was a strong departure from the first game.

Bummer, I was planning on buying this, but not anymore. I'm not going to fork out $60 on a lest gen system game, plain and simple. The new features should be displayed on the current gen.
