As a general rule of thumb, I say loom ar some game play and. Read the story for anything NEA Era, and then start PLAYING ar the SNEA Era. NES is often too dated for me in twnra of a lot of RPG's. You often had to have the manual to make it through. But I enjoy watching a series progress in terms of story, storytelling, and game play. Even with things like the Super Giant games. Although they are in no way related aside from being by the same devoloper, its nice to see them progress as a developer, and even Bastion still holds up. But they are also a newer developer with only a few games.

I really don't want to pay $40 to Oplay Puzzle Fighter. But I might.

Glad to see the return of Box Art Brawl. And this is one of the few times that I think North America got the better version.

Does it count as backlog if I've played it a bunch and never finished it? I might try a few lore runs this week, but since Chrono Croas just came out, its unlikely. Plus Rain World is on sale. And that only happens about once every two years.

Agreeing with some others here. Looks like fun, but of there's not a proper zapper, it's a hard pass.

I already have a brightness setting on my TV. I didn't need them to do it for me. That being said, still looking forward to playing this.

This is kind of what I'm looking for with this kind of thing. A few more features might be nice. But for those of us that never got to play a lot of these kinds of things when we were younger, a straightforward port, no more, no less, for $20 seems pretty legit.

That's actually a fantastic idea. Especially considering a lot of people skip the review and lookostly at the score.

Sonic Mania and Monkey Ball are about the only things here that grab my attention. But there's so many awesome things that cost even less, that I think I have to pass.

Mapping is pretty underrated. Not everything I hoped for, but I'm ok with this. Holding out hope for EW1.

Nice. Now I can put all my game night stuff together instead of scrolling when everyone gets together. But 200 games per folder? I guess better too many than not enough.

Am I the only person that really hates this aspect ratio? I'm glad it's there for people that want it, or have a monitor that necessitates it, but it's been pushed into so much now. I can't even find a good phone with 16:9 anymore.

While there's others I enjoy more, like Spliy The Room, and Mad BlVerse City, I think Quiplash, Drawful, and Fibbage are the essentials.

It would be great to see the original Mutant League Football. Or NFL Blitz.

Online multiplayer was all I really wanted. Everything else is just icing on the cake. This is good news for me.

Looks great. But probably a PC buy. I prefer Switch, but some things are just meant for a mouse. I'll wait for reviews on how it controls.

MAAAYBE Ocean's Heart or Grapple Dog. Otherwise this looks like a good month to catch up on the old backlog.

Journalistic ethics is still rather muddy, especially since we live in ad-based economy when I comes to news in general. A sponsorship can be similar to owning news. If someone sponsors you, you're less likely to say things that may portray them in a negative light. It becomes especially dubious when most of the ads on a lot of gaming news websites are from they companies they're reporting on.

This was one of the issues with the initial GG stuff. A lot of journalists were deeply involved with developers on a level that makes it impossible to be objective, and itthat connection was not known by the reader.

Some of the developers were even caught making fake accounts on various platforms to hurl abuse at themselves. There were also plenty of bad actors involved on GG, which is why it went under, (it was also a springboard for Sargon, who destroys everything he touches).

I don't like Microsoft acquiring even more companies, but at least Kotick is gone.

If it's another hardcore puzzle game, I'll give it a go. Seeing Shovel Knight Puzzle Dungeon, I'm really hoping for me hardcore puzzle game. The puzzler fans have been hoping for more for a long time. Hopefully this is our time.

It seems to be making fun of conspiracy theorists. I don't really take offense; it's just cringey, and in rather poor taste. I'll never call for the removal of something because it offends me. I believe that is limiting. If they remove it because it looks like more of the asset flip trash that's been clogging up the eShop, that seems totally legitimate here. It also might help to have parental controls on the eShop. Do they already do that?

Blue Fire seemed to fly under most people's radar. But it was phenomenal. Only trouble with a release early in the year is that a lot of people forget. Seems like years ago.

I've had fun, but its about a 6 right now. I'll vote AFTER today's direct.

Silksong is the obvious hope. But I've got Shovel Knight Puzzle Dungeon going right now and don't want to spend money. However a sudden Silksong drop will cause me to drop everything. I'm just curious to see what's up, because everything else I've been waiting for has already come out. For the first time in a while, I'm totally happy if they just have announcements and no sudden drops.

Seriously though, their arrogance has hurt them before. Not saying this will topple the company, but it seems silly. We all know Pepsi, Pizza Hut, Samsung, Ford, etc. exist. And we still see commercials.

So glad to see a hig quality game in the genre. Most puzzle games now are made for the casual audience, which is fine, but I really missed seeing new games for the hardcore puzzle crowd. It's a small crowd, but we exist. Still hoping they add an online vs.

Tencent deserves the shade, but how is it we look past EA. How many companies has EA bought, forced them to do things the way EA wants, and then shut them down? There are a lot of companies acquiring companies, and most of it doesn't end well.

When I see demo graph written like that, I'm imagining an old school PS1 demo disc, but it's just has a bunch of power point and excel sheets on it. Genuinely gave my a little chuckle. Well done

I believe the primary issue that many people have is that many games and movies are being celebrate for representation as opposed to being celebrated for being a good game. It would be a bit more understandable several years ago, when there was much less. And to be fair, this game was released several years ago. But many care more about something being a good game. Even more so because a lot of games get celebrated for veing representative, even when they're not very good, and that only furthers the idea that games that are more representative can't be good for any other reason, as wrong as that idea is.

This is a great weakness from all sides. Ita what killed Occupy Wall Street. Its whats killing the BLM movement. The Occupy movement started great. Then people stared trying to attach a lot if other ideas to it, and the whole reason it started was lost, it became unfocused, and slowly dissolved. Among other things.

Can we talk about how the studio (DONTNOD) makes pretty decent games with major slips in the details? Like how Remeber Me had a really fun combat system, with giant sweeping movements, that could take a whioe room, And then crammed a lot of the combat into really small spaces, really detracting from an otherwise fantastic system.

No, they don't want it to. We live in a world that celebrates people throwing a tantrum.

Still better than most game shows made today. Not $15 great, but at the right price and level of consumption, I could see this getting incredibly competitive and causing some screaming on game night.
