Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition might be going through its fair share of issues at the moment, with seemingly boundless glitches and rather negative messages from the developers, but we've got one good bit of news to report: the game showcases a 'big head' mode.
The cheat is accessed by inputting the famous Konami code – Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A – and works across all three games included in the package. As you might imagine, it causes the craniums of all characters in the game to swell to comical proportions, as you can see from the video above.
The Konami code is perhaps video gaming's most famous cheat code and has appeared in loads of games since its inception in the mid-'80s – and not just Konami ones. Creator Kazuhisa Hashimoto – who came up with the code when he was porting the coin-op smash hit Gradius to the Famicom – sadly passed away last year; he added the code because he found play-testing the game too difficult.

I wish there was a cheat code to get better performance 😅
I rather had cheat codes than DLC. Paying for stuff that's already in the game or should have is a scam.
So like those Gat heads in Saints Row 3. We've come full circle.
I remember being a kid and trying various combinations of things to try and get this stuff in games like NFL blitz. Good to see this over a micro transaction.
Shame there isnt a cheat code to run in PS2 mode where its just a complete port and not an upgrade
This lost prototype of Baby’s First GTA on Wii looks hella cute.
@dewokkel you played it then? Which one you tried are all three? Docked or handheld? What’s the biggest issues.
Quite a few people saying they are enjoying it.
If only entering it made the game look good
@Stocksy I tried GTA3 and SA and both had performance problems in handheld. Haven’t tried docked yet. Also, because of the framedrops in both games, it’s sometimes pretty hard to control your vehicle. Graphic wise the game isn’t the best looking one, but I’m not really bothered by that. It’s the framedrops that kill the game for me.
I started gta3 and I think it’s great. Kind of depressing to read all these morbid comments. I’m happy that we can play gta on switch. Thought that would never happen. My last concern are insignificant graphics issues.
I miss cheat codes like these ones. Just fun stuff and goofy.
@dewokkel plays fine for me. A lot of the glitches from the original versions carried over into this one. Gameplay is really smooth compared to original PS2 version, I’m happy they didn’t change the spirit of these games. So many fond memories for me on the PS2 with this trilogy.
@progx I’m glad there are people liking it, but for me personally it’s unplayable in this state. I don’t care for top notch graphics, but I just hate if I can’t control a game because of lag spikes and frame drops. It should’ve been a constant 30fps, but too bad it’s not. It’s sucking all the fun out of the game for me right now.
@Stocksy pop up while driving sucks...driving sucks in general and so does shooting but its because the mechanics are so old...tweaking them slighty doesnt help... but Im having fun, here's hoping they make it a smoother game but its definitely not unplayable or super blurry or super stripped down like a few other switch ports...the explosions look fantastic... And my biggest complaint about graphics is that the character models look so stupid it almost would of been better to leave as blurry low rez ps2 models than whatever the hell they are now its like looking at Lego figures or something
@dewokkel it’s okay. I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, but these old GTA games age like milk. Rockstar should address any issues with it and fix it. For my experience, just playing GTA III, it’s playing like the old PS2 version did.
