First introduced back in Metroid Prime Hunters and teased in both Prime 3 and Federation Force, Sylux finally is in the spotlight! I can't wait to see what do they have in store for us.

People want a remake similar to what RE4 and FFVII had, but if they really want all of those changes, I would prefer they use that time to make a completely new game instead tbh.

And then there's me, who completed the game 100% on Wii U 😭

It is a shame it didn't went out with a bang or something like the event shiny zeraora from a while ago, but it is what it is I guess.

Anything Metroid or Zelda.

@Astral-Grain I mean, if you weren't trying to prove your point so hard, it would be obvious it goes either way. It is really easy to do, there's no modeling needed since the assets are there already. For me, this seems like a rather obvious design choice more than something used to save like what, no more than a couple of hours of work?

The do look more in line with what the Switch looks like, but I don't know y that form factor translated into a good grip.

@Astral-Grain You are aware the npc are generated with an advanced mii editor, right? People have loaded mii presets into the game successfully. If they really wanted to add more npc, they would have done it 🤷🏻‍♂️

@Octorok385 Yes, TP/Smash 4 Zelda gives you one that does work exactly like the bow of light, but unlike this one, it does have durability and can break after use. Also, getting one requires several tries since it is random if you get it or not (and if you don't save before trying it, you will have to wait a day to try again).

Did it only target Metroid Prime tracks? That's kinda sus.

@I-U Depends on who you ask though. People that were waiting to try these modes have probably beaten the game several times with different difficulties. People that have beaten this once might just give it a try and leave it alone afterwards anyway, so I don't really see anything wrong with this (it would be a different story if you had to pay for the extra modes).

@abduz To unlock dread boss rush you need to beat dread mode first. To unlock dread mode you need to finish hard mode. Some people are turned off because they have to play the game again. Not a big deal to me since 2D Metroid games are so short that you can finish them in one sitting.

@Chalkfire Man, it took 7 years to get Dark Souls on Nintendo. I wouldn't have the patience now that I'm kind of old. If you can, grab a cheap Series S. This game is worth it.

I think that was intentional. Samus is so fast and agile in this game, that escaping from the EMMI is really satisfactory on its own. About exploring, the areas are open later on, so hating them for that seems weird.

It all started when they decided to describe this game as Latinx-futurism.

I'm ok with battling in order to catch a pokemon, but I would not be ok if transitions between battles and the overworld isn't smooth like PLA.

I just don't want to keep paying for home to avoid my pokemon to get deleted. I want to move them to the games, but it is impossible.

This wouldn't have happened if Elden Ring was released on Switch.

@KirbysAdventure I think an exclusive souls game from fromsoftware for Switch would be better.

I'm beyond hyped for this game. I played the first Dark Souls game on Switch back in 2018 and since then I've beaten the rest of the series, Bloodborne, Demon's Souls and Sekiro. Friday can't come soon enough!

@Blooper987 I don't know, I have over 50 hours in Dread. All 2D Metroid games are meant to be played over and over to make it to the end faster and faster, not just playing it once and never touch it again.

@Fulgor_Astral I believe The Pokemon Company has the final say about anything Pokemon related, even what GF can and cannot do with the franchise. They are the ones pushing Pokemon for mobile devices with Home, Unite, Go and so on, so I wouldn't be surprised they are behind the decision to take those features from the games to be implemented in Home.

@gloom pokeradar is a postgame key item that triggers an event in grass patches. You use it there and some grass tiles start moving. You go to that grass tile and have a wild encounter. You can either catch it or defeat it to make a chain of encounters. Once the battle is over, some grass will shake again. Repeat the last steps until you reach 40 encounters since that way you maximize your odds (1 in 99). After that, you just keep activating the radar until you see some sparkly grass move. That would be a shiny Pokemon. Of course, the grass can shine before 40 encounters too, and remember to use repels to avoid wild encounters other than the shaking grass.

Zelda 2 because it feels like it is missing something to make it stand along the rest of the games. The other 2 votes are for the ds games since they are repetitive and the touch screen controls are annoying.

@nimnio Perhaps most of the commenters here are teenagers that have never worked before so they are not used to being under a contract.

I know people expected more from the remakes, but I feel they are forgetting we are also getting Legends Arceus in a couple of months. ILCA needed to prove itself with something safe while GF is doing something different. I prefer having Legends Arceus+ remake than a single ORAS style remake.

@tsdenizen Except the shiny charm has no effect in normal encounters. It seems a major drawback since the charm has always worked in wild encounters since its introduction. That said, pokeradar is back, so yeah.

@EriXz Shiny Pokemon are pokemon that have a different color scheme than they normally have. They also sparkle/shine when they appear. They are very rare (1/8000 prior to gen 6, 1/4000 gen 6 onwards).

I caught 9 shiny eevee yesterday in swsh ¯(ツ)/¯

Pokémon always sell. Also, these remakes are based on good games, so there's that too. They could have been way better, of course, but in a couple of months we are also getting Legends Arceus, so I say this is a win/win situation.

@LupinePariah You seem to be reaching quite a bit to see it like some kind of perverted stuff, but that's why there's a saying that goes like "When you are hungry, everything you can think of is food".

About the Varia suit, it seems to be a localization slip off. Look it up, the actual japanese to english translation. Even Adam is screaming at Samus for not activating her Varia on time instead of calmly authorizing it. The abusive relationship you mention seems to be, ironically, a result of a terrible localization, not a result of how you think Japanese people are.
