@Darknyht the expectactions were high, yes, but I disagree that was the problem. See, the Sw&Sh reveal was great and I didn't saw a lot of hate about it. It wasn't until we saw that some features were stripped off without any apparent reason that the hate started to build up.
Unlike astral chain, rhese seem from fans that love rhe franchise. Astral Chain review bombing was feom people that were mad it was a switch exclusive. Completely different scenarios.
That's a weird reason for it, but it can easily be connected to fan discontent about the games. They aren't happy about the cuts in japan, and given the Kyoto animation and Square Enix cases, they may be afraid that something happens there.
Not too big and not too small. Just about right. Hopefully they work more in this concept for the next entry to make it feel like an integral part of the game and no like a side thing.
Wrong way to ask. Just put up a post in any social media and say that not including that is racist and they'll change it in no time. A simple spell, but quite unbreakable.
This article has bait written all over it, and it seems like it worked pretty well. All for those damn clicks. After all, the fastest way to get a response on the internet is by being deliberately wrong.
Perhaps he should start by getting a deal with a publisher. If the game is good and there's a market for it, they'll consider it, but by the looks of it, he should start with making a good game.
@patbacknitro18 Do you realize that Sonic Boom was a Wii U exclusive? The reviews, as noted on the article, are for different versions of the game, not the Switch version. If they didn't handed a single code for the Switch version to any reviewer, then they are indeed pulling a Sonic Boom.
@Wookietim I believe the problem is that the editor probably wasn't evaluated by Nintendo before release if it was hidden. Even if it is a harmless thing, Nintendo has to know about it.
@Yorumi Pretty much. Probably Nintendo will now need to take a little more time before they give the green light, but I guess this kind of situation isn't gonna be common.
Well, this is concerning. This means that Nintendo doesn't have an actual way to detect this kind of things before release. This may lead to some direct consequences to the rest of the indie scene, and it only took one idiot to accomplish that.
@Medic_alert Well, that's what I got from your comment. I'm sorry if I misundertood it. And well, those "low level" spots could also mean that they require this people so the most experienced staff don't lose time on small things and move along the development faster.
The maks thing is obviously part of Samus arm cannon (you can even grasp a little of her orange elbow), but the little hand below there is indeed intriguing.
@TJWorks They still are, and even more for Snake. A common play is to shield with a grenade to blow up your opponent when he attacks, and since it does even less damage to shields, this will encourage Snake players to abuse this a lot more. At least they nerfed the missile and up smash, but it is still quite annoying, especially with players that know what they are doing.
@Heavyarms55 Well, that already happened on the 3DS IIRC. There was this little app that allowed you to send to your friends photos and drawings and they shut it down because some people started asking for pics to children and even sending d*ck pics to them. I don't know the specifics, but it blew up with Pokémon XY since there was this feature called friend safari, which encouraged people to add friends to be able to get special Pokémon. Some idiots saw the chance and lured kids to add them and well, you can imagine the rest. It is truly concerning.
@deafswin37 Yes, but they recommend only in short burst because of the nature of the Labo VR itself. The cutscenes seem to not work with VR though, so there's that to consider.
@Nintendo_Thumb As far as I'm aware of, it doesn't and I can't find any articles indicating it does. I forgot that some games with the VR kit have the joycon attached to the cartboard itself instead of the Switch, but that's how it was intended to. The Switch can still detect those motions, and since the joycon are in a expected position doing expected moves, they can work around them not being attached. if you put them somewhere else, it will most likely not work, at least not as intended.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I could be wrong, but I can't find anything indicating the system itself has motion controls.
@JaxonH The difference is that the Blaster minigame was made with the VR labo set in mind. BotW was not, so the experience may not be what you expect. Even Nintendo is recommending to limit its use to certain aspects of the game.
@DavidMac @nintendolie Even if a third party released a plastic set with a strap, you'll need to play with the joycon attached to the system since that's what the VR uses to detect motion.
Oh man, time to make my Royal Rumble Stage Version 3.0. Hopefully we get to play 8 player Smash in them too. Small Battlefield would be nuts with 8 players.
@Jester151 For the record, a lot of people said that Dark Souls Remastered played great before release, but they delayed it several months after that. I don't know if we'll see something similar here.
@Toshiro_Baloney Unless you want the special edition you might want to hold your horses for a little bit, at least until we get a clear view of how the game runs on the Switch.
@Anti-Matter Doesn't look like that. On the Mario bit the camera was stationary, so that's probably how it is going to be. In BotW's it doesn't look like it switches to FP so you'll just probably experience it with the normal camera.
@Itzdmo Since it is your first experience with it, it is normal that you find it shallow. It is the magic of Smash and Pokémon. It can seem flat and simple for a quick casual game, but you can also take a deep dive and learn it and find a complex game behind it.
@Dang69 It still require resources, even if it is a small team doing one specific thing. And I don't really feel like there's going to be another one anytime soon. Splatoon seems and feels like Mario Kart and Smash: one per console is enough.
@Crono1973 Oh I get you. Perhaps Gavin likes slow, story driven games more than fast paced games and his judgement is biased, but that's what these soapboxes are for.

Re: Bravely Default 2 Is Coming Exclusively To Nintendo Switch Next Year
Basically, they fixed the one wrong thing about the series, they took out Bravely Second.

@Kidfunkadelic83 I too would love to have such low standards. I really envy you.

@frogopus kids usually have lower standards.

Re: Original Banjo-Kazooie Team "Pleased" About Duo's Return, But Unsure A New Game "Would Sell"
Put it on Nintendo. It'll sell itself.
Re: Site News: So, Where’s Our Team Sonic Racing Review?
That doesn't sound good, especially considering Sega's background with this kind of moves.

Re: Rumour: Is This Our First Look At Jim Carrey As Doctor Robonik In The Sonic Movie?
He doesn't look bad, but apparently he's gonna go crazier and crazier on his obsession with Sonic, so he may look different at the end of the movie.

@Medic_alert It isn't unusual to hire in the middle of development. I can't see how this means they are taking a step back.
Re: Random: Some Nintendo Fans Think Reggie Deserved A Better Chair During His Time At Nintendo
Perhaps that was the only chair that could support Reggie's ready body?

@Bliquid But Retro wasn't involved with Federation Force, or at least not as far as I'm aware of.

@thesilverbrick At least they nerfed the projectile game. Maybe they'll get there someday.
Re: Full Patch Notes And All Fighter Adjustments In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version 3.0
@SetupDisk Yes, it does. It would break the game if you faced a Joker online if your game didn't had the content to load it.

@nessisonett No, I haven't. Now I'll try it to see what happens.

Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Technical Director Reveals More About The Labo VR Update
@Nintendo_Thumb Then I stand corrected. I didn't knew it had them.
Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Technical Director Reveals More About The Labo VR Update
@deafswin37 Pretty much. Since the set doesn't have a strap, you'll have to hold it by yourself, unless you mod it, of course.
