@TheFrenchiestFry What's the point of straight adapting a game that's already basically an interactive movie into something not interactive and thus almost always worse? Like live-action cartoon/anime adaptations, they usually stink because we already have an almost 1-to-1 comparison.

Either way, the Resident Evil movies might now have followed the plot of the games, but they certainly had similar tone to those games, which is to say they were very tongue-in-cheek and silly, while having zoombies running amuck doing goofy things.

TL;DR This looks fun, adaptations need to adapt things or they're pointless.

@Xenobound94 Exactly this. There are A LOT of other content creators who would fall under the issue of the names or merch who haven't been hit with a cease and desist. I was wondering what was different about them and bingo-bongo, you can't have her showing up on "poke" searches.

I FINALLY stopped having Virtual Insanity stuck in my head after two days, and you do this to me.

Very fun game. I think it's worth noting the game is made in HTML5, which is absurd. Anyways, for those interested, there's a demo on the website because, again, the game was made in HTML5, and I can't get over that.

That price is rough. It's also available on EA Access, so for $35 on the PS4/XBox/PC, I can get it AND the rest of the games available in Access.

If my character is a high level but I use crummy equipment, games don't level scale to my equipment. If you're the champion, it doesn't level scale to your Pokemon. Aye yi yi, some people love to complain.

I really REALLY wanted to enjoy this. I like mindless, dumb games from time to time but it's SO boring to play the battles.

Hotel Mario isn't even listed. As someone who bought a CDi last year to play it, I now have some strange Stockholm Syndrome with it. Hahaha

I just like watching reaction videos, so it's hard to get those without a direct.

I see people complain about Wii U ports but I'd like to point them to the PS3, which is a PROBLEM. The systems generally aren't surviving much longer, and there are games like Little Big Planet and MGS4 which are going to be completely lost to time on that thing if they aren't ported. Assuming the Switch form factor will be used going forward, please port everything, Nintendo.

I played this on XBox randomly because Game Pass and fell in love with it. Glad to see I'm not the only one. 🙂

@Tibob I THINK, every game but the ones that are specifically single player are online, which is why they had to say some aren't online because some are like, Solitaire.

When I saw Horizon Chase Turbo and heard the Outrun comparisons, I was interested. When you said it plays like Top Gear though, instabuy.

@retro_player_22 While I agree, I also think the way a 32X works is very difficult to work around, with needing to plug the output of the Genesis into the 32X then output from the 32X. I don't know it they ever firmly stated it would be a thing but they would be looking into it. For those less serious about 1-to-1 replication, emulation is fine, I'm just saying there's an alternative and purists are far from fans of hyperkin's emulation work.

If you're a purist, I would say save your money for the Analogue pocket. It's an actual portable running via FPGA with a fancy screen and it will also play more than just GB/GBC/GBA. Lynx, Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color, and others not yet announced. It will also have a dock to HDMI out to a TV.

@tendonerd Spend $40 on jogging shoes to then spend another $40 dollars on jogging shoes in two weeks because a $40 jogging shoe is likely going to fall apart. People spend hundred on exercise videos like P90X, $80 is a great price. Some people, man.

@YozenFroghurt I exercise regularly (four times a week) but weight training and resistance training are two completely different types of exercise, resistance working smaller muscle, thus Ring Fit has filled a nice void for me in-between cardio and weight lifting, but OK.

@Chunkboi79 Funny enough, I do all my cardio while playing video games. Riding a stationary bike while playing games makes it go by much faster for me. Can't run, my ol' creeky knees can't take all the constant impact.

Doom 64 is one of the most underappreciated games on the N64, a true classic.

I loved the card games and board games for this series. Funny to see it go full circle back to a video game.

@YourGoodFriendly Yeah, because graphics have improved and if you think these don't look cleaner than they did in Sun and Moon you can, but I'd fully disagree. Mario does, on the other hand, look very much the same in: Mario 3D World, Odyssey, Super Mario Party, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, Mario Kart, Mario Maker Story mode, and Smash Bros.

Lots of armchair game devs/animators/artists chiming in because they're the experts. "They're new but look the same!" Yeah, it's call brand recognition, you want it to look the same. It would be like seeing Mickey Mouse in multiple cartoons and flailing about because he looks the same in both. People have been too enabled to complain anymore. The game isn't even out yet, for crying out loud.

It's normally about $5 I believe, which is a bargain even for a shorter game. I played through with each character getting 100%, fantastic game.

It's a bummer for some people, clearly. My personal philosophy was to always experience the new regions with the new Pokemon presented in it. Why play a new game and use the same 6 Pokemon every single time region? I dunno. I caught every possible Pokemon in Sun, first time I ever did that, but my niece was recently in the hospital and couldn't run around much after, so I gave her a 2DS and wiped some Pokemon games for her, so maybe I'm not as passionate as other people.

Spider-Man 2 is so freaking good. That is all.

Love games like this, so I'll grab it.

Big fan of how Microsoft has gone about their business with the XBox brand lately. Backwards comparability, Game Pass (and the affordability of Game Pass Ultimate), how they're working with other companies, putting their games on Steam, how their XCloud service allows you to still physically own the games you also stream if you want. They've been a delight since Phil Spencer came around, he seems to genuinely care and like he gets it. It's nice.

I only use new region Pokemon whenever I play a new game, so it doesn't bother me but I understand people's complaints.

If I'm going to play some garbage using an emulator, I'll just use a computer and not give my money to some hack frauds.

EA is doing a thing on the 8th, btw.
