It's a bummer for some people, clearly. My personal philosophy was to always experience the new regions with the new Pokemon presented in it. Why play a new game and use the same 6 Pokemon every single time region? I dunno. I caught every possible Pokemon in Sun, first time I ever did that, but my niece was recently in the hospital and couldn't run around much after, so I gave her a 2DS and wiped some Pokemon games for her, so maybe I'm not as passionate as other people.

Spider-Man 2 is so freaking good. That is all.

Love games like this, so I'll grab it.

Big fan of how Microsoft has gone about their business with the XBox brand lately. Backwards comparability, Game Pass (and the affordability of Game Pass Ultimate), how they're working with other companies, putting their games on Steam, how their XCloud service allows you to still physically own the games you also stream if you want. They've been a delight since Phil Spencer came around, he seems to genuinely care and like he gets it. It's nice.

I only use new region Pokemon whenever I play a new game, so it doesn't bother me but I understand people's complaints.

If I'm going to play some garbage using an emulator, I'll just use a computer and not give my money to some hack frauds.

EA is doing a thing on the 8th, btw.

If this is a F2P game, I will certainly give it a shot, it's a fun concept.

Never played the game until the Genesis collection back on the XBox 360 in 2008 and fell in love with it, so it isn't a nostalgia thing for me. I would suggest playing it co-op, that's where it really shines.

@B-Locks This is what I do. The component cables for the GameCube are rare and expensive. The component cables for the Wii are not.

@Eman528 It uses the other port on the GameCube, the digital out.

If people are upset by something, you don't get to tell them they aren't allowed to be upset, that isn't how this works.

But like Geno's character is a spirit inhabiting a toy, which fulfilled it's purpose and left. Mallow is back home as a prince doing prince stuff. Anyways, I'm saying I don't think they should be in a sequel other than as a cameo. Let sleeping dogs lie.

@Leuke I don't care about Animal Crossing but I love playing as Villager and I'm looking forward to Isabelle. Same with like, half of the roster in Smash. Caring about/playing the game series doesn't have much impact on if they're fun to play as in the game, IMO.

@duddy Sure could. Never found the games scary, always felt more like Evil Dead than Dawn of the Dead. You honestly don't think RE4 was over the top campy? You should probably go back and play it again.

I'm in. People seem to think the Resident Evil games, all of them, are well written? They're horrible schlock. They're a parody of zombie movies getting progressively more ridiculous. Guess what the movies are. Might not follow the plot of the games, but it sure has the same vibe. No, they aren't "good" movies in the sense they'll never win any awards, but don't think Paul W.S. Anderson isn't fully self-aware. They're fun to watch and turn your brain off. If you're going into it looking for more than that, you're looking for the wrong thing, in my opinion. Like, what do you want from a Monster Hunter movie? Minimal plot and goofy action sequences, yeah? You'll get that.

Nintendo Life says RE7 was unplayable while IGN said it worked well enough. shrug

Hard disagree with Sun and Moon's placement. I grew up with Pokemon, Gen I came out when I was in 4th grade and I was hooked. That being said, you can't simply overlook all the huge improvements to about everything in Sun and Moon. No HMs being a big one and the overall pace of the game feeling much less like a grind even when you are grinding. I struggle to play earlier entries more because they all feel slow in comparison. I'll look back at old games with rose-colored glasses, sure, but I don't let that cloud my judgement.

Who gets the money from people buying these? Certainly not the people they laid off. Go kick rocks.

Super interested in the controls for this. Back when I was with 2K, we tested the touchscreen controls for Civ5, and a lot of people thought in the office thought it was the best way to play the game. Worked very naturally. Hoping it is the same for the Switch, but also hope they have a motion control cursor like World of Goo, for example. The precise motion controls allow for it, so I hope it's an option. Gimme those control details!

@SimplyCinnamon53 Getting ROMs isn't illegal if you owns the games you're getting the ROMs for, thus getting this wouldn't make a difference. I used my SNES classic to play all the games I already own instead of having to go to another room and use the carts (4K TVs don't support 240p, thus I cannot play SNES on it directly.)

A WOW character like Thrall would be a fitting nod from Nintendo to the enormity of the franchise.

I felt it was a great improvement over 17 on every account. Perhaps I wasn't looking for the same experience you were, but I've been happy with my purchase of it thus far. I have the Show on my PS4 when I want that, this is my on-the-go simple baseball game I can play with people without having to explain how everything works.

@SomeWriter13 Nintendo posted the video earlier today on YouTube, 25 minutes of gameplay from Treehouse, definitely worth watching! Got me all jazzed for the game.

@GammaPhonic I was the same way. Played it for a few days, stopped for about a month, and now I've played it almost every day for the last month. I don't even like shooters usually! But now I'm thinking maybe I do? Hahaha

As someone who owns all the Mario and Sonic at the Olympics games, and the London and Vancouver PS3 Olympics games, this seems perfect for me. Was really sad there wasn't a Mario and Sonic game for the Winter Olympics this year, my brothers and I love to compete in these silly games even now in our old age. Hahaha

I do love playing this on my PS4, so having it on the Switch will be nice. But also the worst because breaks at work are only 20 minutes.

I thought Sun and Moon were a lot simpler than X and Y? shrug I don't do any research into EVs or IVs, just play the main storyline and some side-quests, so maybe I'm missing something?
