If there's one thing we can't stand about most games released on the Switch it's the fact that they're only ever really a single game. True, some games have mini games and extra modes, but by golly it's just not enough for us, and Nintendo was apparently listening in when we expressed this.
Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics is exactly what it says on the tin, it's 52 games in one simple package. There's countless swathes of old games slapped together on the Switch eShop in shovelware wrappers, but as you might expect from the big N this is a much, much more premium product, and one we're even more excited about having now played it.
Check out the video above to listen to the endless chatter we have to waffle on about regarding this esteemed collection of bloomin' ancient classics, and drop us a comment below to tell us why the game you're most excited for happens to be bowling.

Im totally hyped for this

That's...that's not what it says on the tin...
I'm still a little on the fence with this one. While I generally prefer physical copies, I feel like this is one that I would have preferred as a digital exclusive at a slightly lower price point.
Wii Bowling and Tanks hype
I’ve just boarded the hype train. Choo choo
can you set the number of rounds/hands in games like texas hold em? id like to play a full game but the trailer only showed 5 rounds
I preordered physical copy. It looks fun enough. The single pack multiplayer is what truly sold me on it. There's bound to be some family game night fun to be had!
I wanted them to release Wii sports club for the Switch, mainly for the bowling, which looks great on here, this looks like hours of fun, and such a good party game.
I like the games presentation as well, this could be a sleeper hit for Nintendo, plus pretty good value for money, think I will go physical for this.
@MJL Obviously one of the games is merely a local classic.
I can’t wait for this!
You think Alex is excited to play Mancala online with people?
Does anyone know if this game has like internal achievements / trophies / collectibles?I am a sucker for that kind of stuff
@BaronCorvo The website suggests that you can unlock trivia by playing the game and there is a lot of customization, but that's pretty much it from what I've seen.
@DCorp okay thanks. It would be cool just to have a little something to encourage you to play all the games
This looks fun, my mum would absolutely love this...
@Bustacap : In the original DS instalment, you could usually customise settings on a game by game basis, so I would assume that similar options would extend to this release as well.
It looks great. Total surprise to see it being this polished.
@johnvboy that could still happen!? I would kill for a new “Wii/Switch Sports” on Switch.
Wow I quoted @AlexOlney Nintendo is the best from the video and my comment got removed? Mods are crazy on this site. Probably that weird @Matthew010 mod again.
Gonna have to start reporting you bro, you can't remove people's comment for being positive. It didn't violate the sites ToS. It was a quote Alex made in the video.
And I'm gonna write the same comment again.
Cause Nintendo is the best at everything. Muahahaha!
hey, can Alex or anyone tell me, I am getting a switch lite for my brother and he wants this game really bad. Do you need an extra joy con to play bowling and darts? are they motion control only? or can you play them on the Switch lite, because the joy cons do not detach? if any one can please tell me, I would appreciate it. thanks.
@BaronCorvo The DS original had both a Mission mode and a Stamp mode. Stamp Mode required beating each game on each difficulty. Mission Mode gave you certain conditions to complete. These were super fun and often challenging single-player components that provided great unlockables. I'm really hoping they return for this new game, but I feel that since we haven't heard anything about them, I shouldn't hold my breath. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/clubhouse_games
@mesome713,
They do not like too many positive comments on here, the amount of replies is always much more when people are arguing.
@johnvboy Agree, it's sad people can be so hateful on this site and insult users yet some of the mods like Matthew let them get away with it. If you don't agree with all the hate, your a troll.
@mesome713,
So true, there are a lot of nice people on here as well though, and you fella are one of the far more positive people on here, just do not let any of them get you down.
@johnvboy Won't do, thanks, life's too short to be a hater.
I thought the DS version was as basic as it gets.
Loved the DS version. Wish they had added cribbage. The price is about the most I would pay.
@AussieMcBucket thanks for the info. I had heard something about the stamps so I was hoping for a comeback!
Looks like a very polished shovelware to me.
But I'm really glad to see @AlexOlney back.
I'm not British but I live in London and still on lockdown. We can do it (just not with this kind of games ;p)
Can't use pro controllers in multiplayer? No sale.
@MJL I was about to pay the exact same thing. Too funny
Backgammon, Is there a Doubling Cube option: Yes or No, that will decide if those ones worth playing.
