@NintendoByNature Yeah, something is going on at this point. Sony and Microsoft are talking about new games coming out on ps4 and Xbox one. And talking about the new consoles that are coming out. Nintendo are saying nothing.

@NintendoByNature I don't know. Something to do with Eshop. But it could be to do with the console itself. It does cover things on th e Eshop(use of downloadable software use of prepaid codes and download software). They are quiet.

This happened in January. It was because of an issue where you couldn't download the latest update data at the tine(I think update 9.1.0. This isn't because of update 10.0.

Wasn't this supposed to be launching today? It is probably fake. It hasn't launched today so it's fake.

@james161723 The direct playlist was updated on the 4th. If the direct was finished, they will show it when they want to. Usually when the direct playlist is updated, it means a direct has been uploaded. If there was a direct uploaded on the 4th, it will likely show next week.

Next update would have been 10.0. So Nintendo released 9.2.0. And it does b****r all.

I think it is embarrassing how little the switch can do outside of playing games. No folders, themes, messaging voice chat. The console is 3 years old.

I think it's bad that a fan has to make a direct in Mario maker 2 because Nintendo hasn't done one yet. This year looks bad for Nintendo and is affecting my confidence in them. 2017 was great, 2018 was ok and 2019 was great. But this year looks bad. I don't think Nintendo will perform this year.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH NINTENDO! Look, we get you want to stop cheating. and exploiting. But you are going too far, if people can only recover their data once, what is the point of having this solution? And you are paying for it(through nintendo switch online).

It isn't to do with cheaters. It is nintendo being controlling. This amount of control is ridiculous. If you cheat on animal crossing does it matter? And you can only recover the data once. If you need touse it again you can't.

Nintendo's leaders should be fired. Get new ones. And if the old leaders can't find something else? They are stupid and their policies are pathetic.

Nintendo take so long to get what the problem is. People dont likeNintendo Switch online because Nintendo isn't bothering with it.

@HalBailman Yeah, Nintendo have been REALLY stubborn since the switch. They launch the console without save backup. The solution? Allow external backup😆😆😆😆😆.

Nintendo's problem is that they are trying to be "the good guys" of the game industry. And yeah, it is good that they are doing things like this, but it is actually hurting them and sales of games that don't offer cloud save. They need to stop. The Nintendo Switch has been out for nearly 3 years now. These problems need to stop.

Why not have PS Now on other devices? It's good that Sony is expanding remote play, but PS Now would be more ideal for streaming games as with 5G coming, you will be able to use PS Now anywhere.

Nintendo does not get online. They think that they are not behind others. But they are. They think that content on the online service should be released slowly and that it will attract customers, but it won't. They need to add stuff more frequently or add it all at once. And one reason people subscribe to Nintendo Switch online is just for cloud saves. Which is bad as it shows the online service does not offer much.

They should shut down the online services for this and 3ds. Focus on the switch.

On my Switch it says the sale is On until the twelfth.

Don't understand why Nintendo won't fix the issue. There have been enough complaints. And they are perfectly valid.

That update earlier this morning was not for a system update. Which is weird because it said distribution of update data. Nintendo apologised for the misunderstanding.

Is the update acfually coming on the 6th/7th or is it coming before then? Cos it sesms weird that an update would drop at the same time as server maintence.

Has this affected the revised version of the original switch(the one with 2 hours extra battery life)?

If you look on Nintendos website under maintence, it seems to indicate a system update is coming monday.

I think Sony Nintendo and Microsoft should come together. Get Xcloud and PS Now on switch. That way, games the switch can't run can instead be streamed. Plus with 5G coming, streaming will be super easy.

The solution is easy. Nintendo have more than enough money to sort it out. But they are greedy so won't upgrade the online service. Even with lots of fans complaining. The switch is powerful enough to emulate up to gamecube. Its funny, because the wii and wii u offered more classic games. So nintendo can do it, but wont. They seem tobe holding the Switch and online service back, but for no reason.
