Paper Mario for instance, gets worse with each entry.

And it's so sad, the first 2 (some say 3) were amazing. The most recent was really a decent game, but the combat sucked and I want more variety again. I love enemies as allies, and silly situations involving more than just toads.

I need this Kiwi Talkz fellow to chat with current devs on Prime 4 and let me know what happened, what stage they're at, and how things are shaping up. I wish they were more transparent

Zelda has long been my favorite series, but after BoTW I am not super excited for the next one. All aboard the hype train for the NEXT next one! And Prime 4. That's my most anticipated

I swear it's like me and 3 other people that like the Fantastic Four movies.

SuMo had SO MUCH potential. The Alolan aesthetics, variants, new 'mons, legendaries, rowlet. I just didn't like the water starter, ultra beasts or pacing. Very slow games.

But they are still super enjoyable to me. I think starting with Red, coming back in at gen 4, and then jumping back in at SuMo made those my top 3.

Last Story, I never got the chance back in the day.

I would also add my own nominees: Fire Emblem, Super Paper Mario, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and Pandoras Tower. I never gave that one a go, either

Soul Silver, Fire Red and Pearl are my favorites for sure

Instead of day one, I'll see if my wife will grab it for me for Christmas. Still looking forward to it though

I like the graphic style, don't like the exp share, and will pick up Diamond version as I had Pearl when they came out originally

A re-release, remaster, remake, I don't care. I want more lol. The series was a blast

I got both, and enjoyed them for what they are. But what I really want is an HD2D remake of Legacy of Goku 1 and 2, Buu's Fury, and a new entry for Super. Those games were just plain fun. Combat could use a little oomph but I love the pixel look and music. Just update it all and add some new moves/abilities/etc

I highly doubt it, if you didn't like Super or Fusion. I personally loved Dread, fantastic game, but it's very much in line with the other mainline Metroids.

Kirby, TriStrat, BoTW2, maybe Pokemon. Lots of games to look forward to, yet I still crave Prime 4

I'm surprised at how many complainers are here. Everyone acts like Donkey Kong is some sacred role and Seth Rogen hasn't earned the right or something.

Rogen, Pratt and the rest are fine casting. You'll be okay.

I love the Yoshi series. Yoshi's Island being my favorite, I love the aesthetics, the whole story book then wool then arts and crafts look. Most of the games are fairly easy to play but hide lots of fun hidden collectibles. My wife and I spent a while going through Wooly World together, and intend to eventually try out Crafted World with our daughter.

I didn't grow up playing N64, we skipped it and went from SNES to GCN. So to me, the game isn't anything amazing. The DS version was fine, but playing the OG in the AllStars pack feels like a chore. I can appreciate the foundation the game laid, but it just isn't for me. That said, even Sunshine (which I did play growing up) feels clunky these days. Mario has taken huge strides in Odyssey

I gotta restart Luigi's Mansion. I got stuck at a part where a redneck ghost is floating in a pool or something, and gave up. Jumping back in a year later and I can't remember the controls or story anymore

But as the old saying goes, the real meat can be found in 'Mario Party', a mode which lets you play Mario Party in Mario Party Superstars

I'm still holding out hope for Prime HD on Switch, and Prime 4 eventually. And I'd love to see behind the scenes: what they originally had, what they scrapped and what took so long

What? I didn't say that. I just personally enjoy the series. And you're irritated that the guy who made the series and does the decision making added characters from a series he enjoys?

Also, there is no merit to the thinking that "had they not included Fire Emblem, another character could have made it in". It's all first party owned by Nintendo, and there wasn't a preselected number of fighters. Had they left it at 4 Fire Emblem characters, the total roster could very well be 4 short of It's final total.

I do agree that 8 is a lot, but I enjoy them and it isn't like having less Fire Emblem characters would mean more elsewhere. I do wish we had more variety, with bow wielders, magic, axe, lance, etc. Ton of variety in Fire Emblem

Well that's down to a matter of opinion being touted as fact, then. So either you don't like Fire Emblem, which is fine, or you love another series. Again, fine. But to sit back and say that Fire Emblem isn't deserving is weird. There have been 16 mainline titles, it's a pretty big series.

I said it before, but my completion time was 12 something. That was a pretty leisurely playthrough, granted, but not much less than Supers 15
