Re: Ubisoft Confident Switch Can Be A "Bridge" Between Home Consoles And Mobile

@jimi
It's the developers making the games at the end of the day mate. The WiiU will be known as one of Nintendo's least selling consoles but the developers that saw potential made amazing games. It was a hard console to make games for on a coding level. The Seitch seems to be more indie friendly and its convenient that they make the platform more creative friendly to developers

I think there are some very valid points here. Great article.

I think there is a lot of negative comments about the Switch and the information we know about it. Ubisoft has made games on Nintendo systems and its great to hear their point of view. I don't play Rayman nor I play Just Dance but they are games that do appeal to a large market.

I think there's more to see from the big N in the coming weeks. I doubt Nintendo will just go ahead with just what they mentioned at the presentation after how they faired with the WiiU.

It would be great to get more opinions from guys in the industry

Re: Soapbox: Nintendo's Switch Plan is Starting to Take Shape

Good video. There is a lot to consider here. I pre ordered mine but set in two minds about it. I think there needs to be more info released in the coming weeks about the online services and it would been great if at least Mario Kart 8 or Skyrim were day one releases as well; since they are pretty much straight ports.

I think they definitely need to address how they are going to market this console since the WiiU was very badly advertised.

Nintendo is an amazing company and always revolutionised gaming as we know it. I do feel a sense of dread however and sometimes think they would be better off doing a SEGA and get it over and done with. I hope I'm proved wrong because the Switch is a dream come true. Only time will tell and Nintendo really needs to up it's game (no punt intended).

Re: Talking Point: What Would You Like to See From Pokémon Sun and Moon?

CerberusAzdin

Things I would change:

1. Different starter types; instead of fire, water and grass. Maybe rock, fighting and flying? Also mix the dual types a bit.

2. Instead of having new Pokemon why not have more alternative evolutions of old Pokemon the way you can evolve Gloom and Slowbro for example. Speaking g of which, Eevee needs a dragon, flying, rock, poison and fighting evolution.

3. Different story formula and definitely MORE post Elite Four. The best thing about Gold/Silver/Crystal was that after beating the Elite Four you had a whole other region to venture as well as more badges to collect. It would be fantastic if they did the same thing here.

4. Make Pokemon fuse or make the mega evolutions permanent.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo's E3 Digital Event?

CerberusAzdin

XBOX ONE is backward compatible!...I mean come on. To be fair, Nintendo do their own Direct feeds with news every now and again but did little to impress at E3 this year. As much as I love Nintendo, not everyone wants Mario Maker. I think I was pleased to see Starfox announced. They could at least officially update the world on the amiibo shortages but hey.

Re: New Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition Promotion is Suddenly Available to More Club Nintendo Members

CerberusAzdin

It is a bit annoying how Nintendo have tackled this promotion as many Members will miss out. This is only helping some people make more money on Ebay really, where some will pay twice as much for it.

If anything, and I hope I'm right on this one, it serves as a good indication that the New 3DS is literally round the corner. Expect a Nintendo Direct very soon guys. For those who got the email, hats off guys and enjoy it as you see fit.

Re: The Monster Hunter Tri Servers Will be Shutdown Today

CerberusAzdin

By far, the best online Wii game if not the best Wii game altogether. Its been a rollercoaster with Tri; met really cool people, had arguments with others and all the damn Deviljhos in between.

As sad as this news is, we must thank Capcom for having the server open for so, so long and for letting us enjoy the online experience for free.

BUT FEAR NOT!! We have a group on Facebook dedicated to gathering hunters in London. We specialise in creating weekly events so people like you can meet other hunters and tackle quests together.

Add us and we will keep you posted on future events! There is one this Saturday which is going to be our best one yet!!:
