Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Pokémon Scarlet And Violet?

CerberusAzdin

Probably the most enjoyable Pokémon experience in a long while, and in many ways, what fans have prayed for. Sadly, the game needed more time in the oven and is a very disappointing release, marred with performance issues. I neither expected or wanted the Pokémon Company to jump on the bandwagon of “release now, fix later”business practices. The best, worse Pokémon game ever

I remember this being the first Super Gameboy compatible game that would play with a more varied pallet of colours and a frame around the screen. What an amazing, epic chase around the globe to rescue Pauline, and what a time to be alive. I was gutted when the game was available on the eShop for the 3DS but it was in its monochrome, gameboy tint. I would have preferred to have played it as it was intended really. Still, one of the best platforming puzzle games of all time and an arcade adaptive legacy done right.

Re: Metro Redux Has Just Been Officially Confirmed For Switch

It’s times like these when it pays off putting certain games off, only to then appear on the Switch with a physical Edition.

We could see a large wave of 3rd party support on the Switch seeing as the PS4 and XBOX ONE are at the end of their life cycle. With Witcher 3 proving that bigger, current gen games can be ported and an increased game card size, the sky is truly the limit.

2020 will be a year full of surprises especially for our hybrid console. Keep them coming!

Re: Feature: Just Who The Heck Is Terry Bogard, Smash Bros. Ultimate's Latest DLC Fighter?

“WTF is Terry Bogard?”

These kids don’t know Shiz! Fatal Fury is one of the cornerstones of 16-bit fighting games, à la Street Fighter II.

Sakurai is an Artist! He is not just going to put some pleb in the roster of his greatest work; a celebration of video game history!

Joking rants aside, really happy that Terry has been included. I am further excited that there is still one more to go and the have announced even MORE! The sky is the limit.

In all seriousness, I just wish that they bolstered the platforms apart of NES games. I’m hoping that they include SNES or even Gameboy games. Im personally not that enticed by NES games and one of my favourite things of Nintendo platforms after the Wii was the Virtual Console; the ability to have a digital collection of classics. My 3DS is littered with GBA and SNES games and I think that they are missing the opportunity to give gamers that awesome library in doors and on the go.

Imagine being able to play Super Metroid, on the go, starting from the entrance of Mother Brain’s Lair?

This was a great surprise when it was announced a few months back and i cannot wait to play it again on the go.

My only complaint is that once again, Capcom have decided not to release it physically in the EU. It would have been great for those whom are sitting on the fence to be able to try it out and trade it in for credit at a bricks and mortar store. The Japanese version has the sound track to boot!

I recommend this game to anyone who love action RPG’s and a challenge; Bitterblack Isle will test your patience and courage. It’s not without its flaws and granted, to today’s standards it may have not aged all that well but personally, I’m counting the minutes until I get to hunt a Chimera for the 100th time and on the go
