Re: Events: Nintendo Life Is Coming to Eurogamer Expo 2012

CerberusAzdin

It was an epic expo! Shame I didn't get a chance to meet the Nintendolife crew which was a shame, but 'd like to thank them for the Nintendo Life Street Pass Zone. It was a great way of getting hits on the 3DS while chatting and chilling with other gamers. It be great to see you guys at other events throughout the UK. Hopefully we can meet then as well. Well done guys.
I recommend everyone to pop down this weekend to the Eurogamer Expo. The Nintendo Booth seemed to be packed all day and had many demos on offer for both the Wii U and 3DS. Don't forget to enter the competition!

Re: Nintendo Determined to Beat Hackers with Wii U and 3DS

@SilverSeraph

The only reason I would EVER mod my 3DS would be to remove the stupid REGION LOCK. WHO'S BRIGHT IDEA AT NINTENDO'S WAS THAT?

1989 Gameboy = region free
1998 Gameboy Colour = region free
2001 Gameboy Advance = region free
SP = region free
2004 DS = region free
DSi = region free
2011 3DS = REGION LOCKED.....WTF!?

Re: Monster Hunter 4 Director Says It's All About 'Adventure'

CerberusAzdin

@Nintex

I've give up on Capcom and this whole Monster Hunter fiasco.

I just won a bid for a Japanese 3DS and I'm just going to import 3G and 4 when its out. Might cost me a bomb, but its not like Capcom are going to release them here. I waited for ages for MHP3rd to be released outside of Japan; hearing rumours that it would....it didn't.

Its playable even in Japanese and there are some sites that are dedicated to translating the game already. If you have the $, look into it and just do it.

Re: Doubts About Monster Hunter 3 G Worldwide Release

CerberusAzdin

Capcom sort your SH!T out and release the game already!!!!

They better unveil a western release at E3 this year man, I'm getting sick and tired of petitions, votes and cries for this game or any other to be released here.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Tri STILL have a huge following not only in the UK, but around Europe, not to mention the US.

Monster Hunter is one of the best franchises in the gaming industry. It is a shame that we were given a taste of it and we have to wait for Capcom to actually release it.

To make things even more complicated the 3DS is region locked.....who was the genius to come up with that idea??

-_-' I really do hope they release it here and I'm crossing my fingers for E3.

Re: Kid Icarus: Uprising Fails to Fly in UK Charts

@Savino

I completely agree with you. Its a wicked game no doubt, but even with the circle pad pro its still awkward to play. The stand is a good idea but not a solution. I want to play it but just thinking of the controls puts me off.

I hope that they keep the classic control scheme for Smash Bros...

Re: GAME Drops The Last Story Limited Edition

CerberusAzdin

I've had to reserve a Limited Edition copy at HMV. Its just a bit annoying how they decide not to deliver the Limited Edition TWO DAYS before the game is released. Maybe when GAME punched the numbers they realised they couldn't afford selling the LE of the game.

Another thing is how they haven't stocked up on Tekken 3DS either. I know in the past, games such as Okamiden (DS) and Muramasa (Wii) were not stocked on day one. They go through phases where you have to order the game through their website or look for it elsewhere.

Considering their financial position, the question is how many other games are going to go through this mishap in the future? And GAME also has ownership over Gamestation so whatever happens it's also affected.

It will be interesting to see how many LE of the game actually sell in comparison to the standard version. The Last Story has been advertised pretty much everywhere as well. Pandora's Tower will also have a limited edition; will it too face the same fate? Only time will tell. Enjoy the game, whatever version you may get and I'll hopefully see you online !D

Re: Rumour: Monster Hunter Tri G To Be Revealed Next Week

CerberusAzdin

It be a great move on Nintendo's behalf to release MH on 3DS as it would boost their sales. However they would have to release it in the West as well. I'm dying for a new MH game ever since Tri came out but I won't hold my breath on it just yet; MHP3rd got release last December on the PSP and there is still no confirmation from Capcom that it will arrive to our shores.
At this point considering how badly organised the 3DS launch was it be best for Nintendo to work with Capcom and release MH, anywhere.
Any other game is always a plus.

Re: Nintendo Collaborating with Third-Parties to Make Hits

CerberusAzdin

@ 10.. I completely agree. This time Nintendo is getting good games which are coming out on other consoles too, like Batman Arkham City. The machine seems to be on par to a certain level with the PS3 & 360. It will probably allow for developers to add stuff to the games as well.

After the Wii came out, we saw xbox's Miis and PS3's Wiimotes...

Re: Operation Rainfall Responds to Nintendo's "Never Say Never"

CerberusAzdin

“The bottom line is if the games are not released, how are we supposed to take their E3 comments about a 'commitment to the core gamer' seriously?"

Nintendo seriously need to sort it out. The 3DS launch wasn't any better either. I hope Operation Rainfall does succeed and gives a wake up call to other companies.

Yeah you heard me Capcom! GIVE US MONSTER HUNTER 3DS ALREADY!

Re: Wii RPG Outrage Floods Official Nintendo Facebook

Nintendo has two options:

1. Release ALL three games in the US and EU.
2. Lose the hardcore Nintendo fans that have backed them up for years.

The Wii has its days numbered now with the release of the WiiU next year. The Wii works because it appeals to a vast audience; not just hardcore gamers. But the Big N forgot in my opinion about these people who played all the classics like Zelda or Mario back in the day.

I live in the UK. I've been playing games since the beginning of the 90's. It wasn't until the Virtual Console came out that I was able to play games like Chrono Trigger and Sin and Punishment (Japanese exclusive). Its taken me, without using emulators on PCs, more than a decade to truly appreciate these classics cherished in the US and Japan.

My point is, you'd think after giving people exactly what they wanted years later, asking them to PAY for these titles when you could download or use an emulator to play; they would give us the consumer what we needed.

I love Nintendo. I'm old school at that. Been ridiculed by mates who had other consoles or games.

Nintendo please sort it out now and give your people what they want or good luck selling the WiiU when it comes out.

Re: Rumour: We May See Big Capcom Announcements Next Week

CerberusAzdin

Can someone please send this thread to Capcom? We are suffering from Monster Hunter Syndrome. I think its fair to say (myself included) that there are ALOT of people who will PAY £39.99 FOR THIS GAME. Capcom, WE THE WESTERN WORLD WILL GIVE YOU MONEY FOR A MONSTER HUNTER GAME ON 3DS.

Please pass on to whoever it may concern at Capcom !)
