Since its big push in a Nindies Showcase broadcast as a Switch console exclusive, 'breakdance battle game' Floor Kids has had us intrigued. With a distinctive visual style and fresh music from Kid Koala it's hard to miss, and we'll find out imminently whether the end result lives up to the stylish promise.
Floor Kids is out this week (7th December) in North America with a price tag of $19.90USD; its European eShop listing suggests it won't arrive in that region until 18th December, however, with a UK price of £15.99 [Update: this has now been confirmed].
It's certainly a distinctive title for the system - are you planning to pick it up?

Defo. Looks fresh! Erm...can I say fresh? Does Splatoon have the monopoly on that word?

Can't say it's gripping me that much.
Pretty clever . . . .
Looks great, but I'll wait for a price slash. 10 euros and I'm in.
FINALLY!!!!
Why can't I hold all these Nindies??? Oh boy...
This one looks pretty cool. Would like to hear some opinions on the game before deciding for sure given the high price point, but tempted to grab some US eShop funds and download it when it releases.
Edit: Funds added, guess I'm taking the plunge.
I'm very interested in this game I hope it lives up to the hype.
I was impressed with the trailer as there's nothing much out there like it. I don't plan to play it, but I am intrigued to see how well it's received upon release.
What a weird price tag.
@JJ286 Perhaps it's going for a 1990s feel?
(Slowly unplug the earphone, still listening DDR songs)
(Read the news for a while)
(Continue listening DDR song due to not interested with Floor Kids)
I think I'll stick with VOEZ and Deemo for my rhythm action needs. And pray that Square-Enix will bring a third Theatrhythm game to Switch.
Looks fun. Will try it.
How do you actually play it? Also seems expensive.
Will wait for reviews.
ill be moon walking myself as far way from this game as possible
@onex lol good one and yeah must be because nowadays everything is $X.99.
I,m a bboy. Can't wait for this game with my crew. Must have for me. Style and music is so dope
Looks real dope. Definitely interested
Seems cool, but... Scribble art. Is this what art colleges are pushing nowadays? That's all I see anymore in Des Moines, Iowa: where people go to move back in with their parents after being chewed up and spit out by New York City.
now all we need is a walking simulator featuring Kool Keith
@ogo79
(Looking at Moonwalker)
Annie , are you okay ?
Annie , are you okay ?
Are you okay, Annie ?
@FinalFrog I would play a game called Mullet Wars.
I'm excited for this concept. On the fence..
@JJ286 $19.90... I think the meaning behind this is that there's a breakdance move called the "1990" or "90", where you're spin on the palm of one hand from a handstand.
@voltaireis thats awesome and the fact that the developers are willing to lose 9 cents for each copy they sell just to do a reference makes me want to buy the game.
@Anti-Matter
annie is never okay
this game looks dope! and the soundtrack made by KidKoala specifically for this game? and all this for 17€?! this sets a good trend opposed to all the overpriced ports. hope the gameplay is solid, but from the looks of it it should be fine.
@slatanek please watch your wording next time.
@slatanek
Hey, watch your word, dude !
oh, chips! I'll be using "freakin' " instead of the other F word from now on.
I just wanted to say I was abso-freaking-lutely interested in this freakin' game and that I find it dope as feces! that's all.
hope I didn't offend anybody
Is it out yet??
