Well, that is a bummer. Was looking forward to this game. Seemed like a good handheld game.

Funny. I am lugging my 15” portable monitor on this trip. I use it for work, and hooking up the switch. It is the ASUS 120hz 1080p. (It might be 144hz). But I don’t always haul the monitor with me. Mostly when it makes sense work wise.

Great news. Really glad they are keeping up supporting this game on the switch 2

I use table top mode quite a bit. Especially on the plane. Put the tablet part in the device holder and use the joycons. It is great on the plane. You don’t have to worry about your neighbor getting an elbow. It is one of my favorite features of the switch.

Would be great to have a James Bond LEGO game. They could get around the more ‘adult content’ with the same innuendo they do it the other games.

Maybe throw in a humorous nod to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to cover your Ian Fleming bases…..

My prediction is … Switch beats the 160mil number at some point, and Sony congratulates Nintendo on the feat.

Did not lick the cartridge, but did have one between my lips while swapping…..once…..learned not to do that again….

Depends on how much of an upgrade the new system is, what games are on offer and the experience those game bring, as well as the features.

What is meant by natural & legal person? Seems like a person who is a citizen or local company. Not a foreign company or person.

@CharlieGirl perhaps requesting the option for the new game? No clue how much code would need to be changed in the old game (modders would have a better idea). But if enough request it, might could happen.

@Aswannsong I have not had drift on any of my joycons either. But have had it on one of my ps4 controllers in the past. However it is not a Nintendo thing it is a joystick thing. Happens on other controllers from Sony and Microsoft too. Can be from aggressive use, but also can be from dust getting in there or just normal wear and tear of parts rubbing against each other.

Look to the new Sony controller with swappable joysticks modules. Supposedly Hall effect joysticks may be the answer. Time will tell.

The thing about the joycons, is it seems to happen faster for some. May be environmental, or may be more power users….and with the smaller sticks it may effect it more?

Played on PlayStation early on. If they get cross save/progression might try it again on Switch, as the portable aspect may get me playing it again.

Haunted Chocolatier would be cool. Probably not far enough along yet…

Played it on gamepass. I did not think it was ‘horror’. Dark theme sure, but not scary.

Remaster of Silent Hill: Book of Memories Would be great.

@HOUSE have you tried capping it at 45fps? Seems people are running a lot of games like that.

I am hoping the port for this and factorio are great on the Switch. Even though I have a steam deck, would rather play them on my switch.

Wish they had more of the color puzzles.

Very much looking forward to this release. From what the Dev blog says the performance should be decent in both handheld and docked. Larger bases may dip in both FPS and UPS.

Fan of the original. Think the artwork looks great for the new one.

If the voice fits the character…..then it is fine with me. Even if it is a bad accent, as long as it makes sense.

Interesting with the wireless aspect. I have a few portable monitors as I travel for work. Have the original dock in a basstop dock case to make it more portable.

Used on plenty of plane trips with the switch.
Also use with Xbox series s and computer.
They are great to use around the house as well. Can play something on a little bigger screen (with some of the text on some games not optimize for the switch screen). While someone else is using the tv.

Snowrunner. They did a great job porting it over.

Made a mini pinball using a 15in portable monitor. Works great with the switch. Can’t wait for the Indy table.

For what the upswitch is, seems like getting a portable monitor and one of the kits to make the dock smaller is a better option. Have been using that set up for awhile now and easy to carry. USB powered monitor that the dock can power so one power cord. Have used on a plane a few times, as well as numerous other places. They have 11” 1080p monitors. Keeps it compact to stuff in my backpack, but big enough to share the screen.

Loop Hero has drawn me in with the ‘just one more run’…..

Still have my launch Vita. They have OLED screens. No burn in. And never did anything special. Just played. And some games hundreds of hours worth.

That being said…..people who play the NSO games may want to be mindful, as they may not be upgraded to be like modern games that help combat image retention. But then again the same could be said if those are hooked up to a tv or on the old switch models’ screens as well.

I found that resources did respawn over time. Perhaps it was only after getting the upgrade with the points.

I went into this expecting it to be a laid back exploration indie that was short. Was not disappointed.

Did get stuck a few times on a tree or between a gap. But not for long and did not take away from the game. Played all in handheld and did not notice any choppiness in my play through …..

Like NIS games usually….so will be interested in seeing more.

Had a vita since launch day with an OLED screen. Never had the problem of burn in. Not saying it isn’t possible but not worried.

Use tabletop mode all the time on the plane. Options are good.

To clarify have a case with a built in stand….as the original kickstand it not optimal.

Advance wars and Field commander on PSP were my favorites in this genre.

Has been long enough since playing that will pick these up. Hopefully they will make a new entry for the series soon.

I had an issue with the update with a game updating. Did a soft reboot and it downloaded…..

If you haven’t tried that maybe give it a go.

Hope they fix the issue.

If it is a good game….sure why not.
