Re: Rumour: Intelligent Systems Is Working On New Paper Mario For Wii U

Bryon15

After the last two games in the series, I'm not getting excited about this at all. I absolutely hated super paper mario. I couldn't even bring myself to complete it. Paper mario sticker star wasn't much better. But this was miyamoto's fault. He told intelligent systems they were only allowed to use mario world characters and they couldn't make a story. Hopefully they'll have some back bone this time and tell miyamoto to stick it where the sun don't shine. And make the game how they want to. Otherwise I won't be buying this.

Re: Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Launches on 4th December in Europe

I'm pretty angry that europe (once again) gets the game before america does. I don't like waiting 4 months to get a highly anticipated game, when it's available in english in another part of the world. It wouldn't be a problem if the 3DS wasn't region locked. But it is cause of nintendo's own stupidity. I blame nintendo for this. For not being able to localize games fast enough, and for having dumb region locking in 2015.

Re: Soapbox: It's A Tragedy That Rare Replay Isn't On A Nintendo Console

Sigh. Even after all these years I still wish this had not happened (microsoft acquiring rare). Nothing good really came from this. I mean look at where we are now. Look at the condition Wii U is in. Lot's of people will say that the N64 was the better system simply because of Rare. It certainly sold better than Wii U. If nintendo still had Rare it would be a big help. More diverse IPs, and a team of 200 employees that could pump out at least one game a year. The sad part is that nintendo actually had the chance to fully buy rare, since the stampler brothers went to them first. But nintendo refused. One of their many dumb decisions.

Re: Capcom Reveals E3 Plans and Mega Man Legacy Collection for 3DS

Bryon15

Utter disappointment. What the absolute hell capcom? I mean seriously? How many times have we played all of these? Plus anyone who wanted these have already picked up megaman anniversary collection on gamecube. Also this "new" collection is actually worse because the gamecube version had 4 extra games in it. This game is going to sell like butt. And of course capcom is going to twist that by saying "oh no, the new megaman game didn't sell. Guess that means nobody wants him. Let's not make another one" I have an idea capcom, how about you make a megaman game that's actually new!? Not a collection of 20+ year old games that we've already played dozens of times! Oh and here's another insult from them, check out the systems that this collection is for. PS4, xbox one, 3DS. No Wii U version!! Really!? They haven't realized by now that megaman's audience is on nintendo? Not that I would've bought it anyway since I have the superior gamecube collection, but still. Sigh. I pray for the day capcom goes bankrupt.

Re: Capcom Could Be Up For Sale After Shareholders Reject Anti-Takeover Plan

Bryon15

Okay. Let me start out by saying that I definitely think Nintendo should be the ones to get Capcom. Now I'd like to clear up a few things.

1. To people saying that microsoft, EA, activision, could buy capcom and thus ruin them. Stop worrying. There is a law in japan that prohibits an american company from buying a japanese one. This is why microsoft could not buy atlus, despite having more money then sega.

2. To people saying that nintendo flat wouldn't buy capcom. Why do you thing that? Is it because they didn't buy atlus? Consider this. Nintendo has explicitly said that they are looking towards mergers and acquisitions. Here is a link:

http://mynintendonews.com/2014/01/31/nintendo-is-now-consider...

Nintendo said that AFTER atlus had already been sold and bought.

3. Nintendo and capcom have had a good relationship that goes all the way back to the 80s. megaman, street fighter, bionic commando, ghosts and goblins, they all debuted on nintendo systems. Plus we got the best resident evil games when they were gamecube exclusive. Capcom also made the best 2D zelda games.

4. Several dead capcom franchises would be revived. Like megaman, breath of fire, bionic commando. Games developed by platinum games like okami, viewtiful joe, devil may cry, godhand, would also be revived. I mean since platinum has such a close relationship with nintendo.

5. Perhaps most importantly, Nintendo knows that they are not getting third party support. This is the problem with Wii U. This is why we have these long game droughts in between new releases. Acquiring capcom would be a major help with that. Because they wouldn't just be getting capcom's IPs. They would get their development teams as well. Nintendo said that they wanted to expand. And this is the best way to do so. Who wouldn't want to buy a system that was the exclusive home to both nintendo and capcom franchises? I sure would.
