This is good news. The load times on switch 1 can be bad, even in game. A (theoretical) 9x faster throughput will be a nice performance boost and make using the switch 2 a lot more enjoyable.

Neither. They’re both awful.

I tried this on Apple Arcade a couple years ago and didn't like it. It felt like a generic mobile game to me.

This was a tough one - I like them both.
I went with NA in the end because I like the movie poster vibe.
I miss the GameCube Era. The cases looked the best.

Flight of the Falcon should be #39. It's 3 levels of unrelated mini-games strung together with mediocre controls and sometimes awful graphics. And when you die you start back at the beginning of the level.
The cover art was definitely the best part of the game.
The other three had their good moments though..

My daughter had at least 4. I definitely got my money's worth on those Gamestop $30 2yr replacement plans.

I just have a 2DS XL. I wanted to get in on 3DS years before, but couldn't justify the expense.
I do regret not picking up a 2DS for the novelty.

I've had Three Houses for a year now, so I'm going to start that instead.
I can always pick up Engage later in the year if I want to play it.

The only way it feels old is with demanding multiplats, provided you're OK with lower res games. I'm talking 720 vs 1080p here since I don't have a 4k tv.
Given the choice, I usually get them on PS4 or XSS.
It's funny, I agree with the sentiment here that things were better when you just had a console and played the games on it but looking back, even as a kid with an Atari 2600 I always wanted anything with better graphics!
For whatever reason, I notice the graphical and performance differences more on the Switch now than I did on the WiiU at the end of its lifecycle, probably because of loading speed and FPS increases in newer consoles.

As someone who was there from the beginning, the time between big releases was LONG!
Definitely a bittersweet experience owning a console that never lived up to its potential.
But the highs were high.

I started Astral Chain this week as well as RE Revelations and SW Republic Commandos, all on switch.

This looks good. Hopefully we get the retro look with modern feel/performance.
To me, the Quake remaster looked good, but played badly.

I thought this was going to be a blow out for NA when I clicked the vote button.
I probably wouldn't have even picked the Japanese box up to check out the back cover back in the day.

Tales of Zestiria on PS4. I couldn't resist the $5.99 sale price. Liking it so far.

Atelier Sophie and Triangle Strategy demo on switch.
If I play anything on xbox it'll be Halo 5 mp.

Fast racing neo was one of my favorites on WiiU.

I'll stick with MK8. I don't play it very often any more so the new tracks will make it feel like a new game to me.

I pulled out my wii u to check out the eshop one last time and had to play another round of this game. It was one of the highlights on the system.

@Digitamamon64 they removed the wii u as a platform choice. That was a crappy move.
Plus the new site really sucks. The old one was so much easier to use. Faster too...

Horizon Chase Turbo is one of my favorite switch games. So much fun to drop in for a few races.

I also picked up SW Squadrons on Ps4 to see how it plays there.

I tried so hard to like this game back in the day but I could never stick with it for long.
The multi-player was pretty cool though.
The controls were awful.

Final Fantasy X on switch. I'm really enjoying it so far. I had picked it up on ps4 during the last sale and while it looks nicer, I don't want to replay all hours I have into the switch version. Plus the switch graphics have their own charm.

I picked up KOTOR and Racer.

Considering how loud my ps4 fan gets on the table arise demo, I doubt the switch could even come close to running it. Berseria would be a better choice.
Load times would also be insane for a lot of these.

I picked up Mario Tennis Aces on sale last week so I'll check that out. Also Metroid Dead and Bloodstained on ps4 and xbox. I'm playing on both since I can't commit to a platform!

I was tempted to get this but I already have it on xbox and it looks great with all the visual enhancements the series s does for backwards compatibility games.
It's definitely worth picking up if you don't have it though. And a decent price for switch.

Same here. I got a series s last week and I love it. It's a huge jump over my old xbox one.
I'm hoping Atlus brings games to xbox this gen.

Doki Doki literature club on switch. Nothing crazy has happened yet, so I'm tempted to just stop and enjoy my memories of sharing poems with the girls.

For me it's worth re-buying the ports on switch to not have to pull the Wii U out of the closet those few times a year.

Tactical Assault on DS was awful. I got it used for $4.99 and that was expensive considering the ten minutes of game play I got out of it.
Elite Force voyager on pc was pretty fun though.
