So that's your lot for this week's Nintendo Download. Go on, be a sport and drop a vote in the poll above, and comment below with your hot picks!
I hate to say it, but I can absolutely not wait for my Steam Deck to arrive (it's Q2 tomorrow, so I could get an email any day by then).
Now, I don't say I will never play my Switch anymore; I've still got some recently-ish released games like God Eater 3, Darksiders 3 (and even G.I. Joe Operation Blackout ) to play.
But the only upcoming game (a game collection really) I'm looking forward too is the Taito arcade collection... BUT I'm NOT paying 40 € for a collection of 10, 40 year-ish old games, where only 2 or 3 can be considered real classics. I might get them for ½ price and even then I would think it was a bit pricey.
Summa summarum is that the Switch has lost its momentum (something kind of funny about that word, but maybe it's just me ) at least when it comes to 3rd party games (let's call them non-indie 3rd party or AAA games). And unfortunately (for me at least) they're what I really care about.
So my Steam Deck can't come fast enough (at least then I can play some "classic" games from the PS3/Xbox 360/early PS4/Xbox One period that are not available on the Switch).
Wait, where is LEGO Skywalker Saga?
GAME.co.uk has just cancelled pre-order as they didn't have enough stock.
Cosplay Love and Crystar for me
Did the Switch eventually become oversaturated to the point that it’s not profitable to publish to or something? Totally agree with @shgamer that it really feels like it’s lost momentum and people are abandoning it.
Hoping for a Crystar review soon.
Nothing for me this week unless the reviews come up with any nice surprises. Unusual week for me not to have anything listed that I want to download now or later
