Re: Get Ready For More Remasters From Activision Blizzard In 2021

@Dezzy
660K (Digital and physical) by around November was the estimates. That's bad because NSane Trilogy (only on the PS4) did 2.5 million in the same timeframe.

Papa Activision isn't gonna be happy about that. Even with the change in price, not even hitting a cool million would be enough for them to pull the plug as the rumor suggests.

That's also ignoring possible development troubles even before release.

@Clyde_Radcliffe
A Switch port would have been on the cards except development was also rumored to be terrible with Beenox having to be brought in to clean up their mess. Take it with a grain of salt but the scuttlebutt is that Toys For Bob botched it and Activision knew they had a turd on their hands.

Bitch and moan but people are still buying the stuff. Consumers don't care they've been lied to, had parts of their games removed and sold to them as DLC (microtransactions or/and season pass), are forced to download large Day one Patches because the whole game isn't on the disc (Lookin at you, Spyro), or even getting a functional game.

Let them. It's their money to waste. No skin off my back.

Xenoblade X ain't coming. Especially if the rumors that Nintendo of America are cockblocking it are true ("Use the censored version or we won't release it").

It'd just be another flop, like the censored switch version of Tokyo Mirage Sessions NoA forced everywhere (Thank you Atlus rep for telling us).

Hi gaslighting person. You are right, it is never a problem even though we live in a world where SONY CENSORS games of this type. Nintendo totally never did anything like this before except when they did to Fatal Frame 5.

Totally not a real problem because censorship doesn't exist...Unless it involves big tits then it's not really censorship, it's making things "diverse and inclusive". Ya fool.

@dBackLash
If "barely anyone cared" you wouldn't be saying anything. Pirated version was uncensored and had all the costumes (yes even the nintendo ones). Add in that you need an HD to buy the game anyway and the obvious choice was obvious.

But please, keep lying. Just like with Tokyo Mirage Sessions flopping on the Switch. "Censorship wasn't an issue, it was Covid/Donald Trump/Russian Bots/Manbearpig"

Re: Fatal Frame Turns 20 This Year, And Series Producer Keisuke Kikuchi Wants To "Celebrate It In Some Way If Possible"

Ah yes, the series Nintendo outright killed due to a mixture of incompetence and censorship. You know you done f'ed up when the Pirated version of Fatal Frame 5 is the best version.

"Hey, let's make this 12GB digital only even though our base console only has 8GB of space. Let's also censor it cause we don't want to scare kids playing this M-RATED game"

Re: Atelier Ryza Developer Clarifies Its Stance On Video Game Censorship

BloodyMurder

We've been through this already when Fairy Tale got its day one censorship patch. Nothing the devs say can be trusted.

FYI Sony forces devs to censor on ALL platforms in order to release on playstation. If there is a playstation version, the game is "pre-censored" i.e. already watered down to appease Sony just like with Kandagawa Jet Girls.
