I'd give it a 9. It has my favorite controls in any Mario Kart game, an excellent track selection, knockout tour, and I actually enjoy the intermission sections (people calling them boring are whack, if anything they're too chaotic). But free roam is really undercooked, and it's a decent launch title, but BoTW it is not.

The only big disappointment about this port is it targets 30 fps, which is just not an ideal way to play a platformer imo.

Love Bowser's castle. Feels so much like the F zero tracks in 8, which is a very good thing.

Can't wait to give this a go on switch 2. Finally, the best Zelda (in my opinion) can run perfectly.

@PikminMarioKirby Same! I'm enjoying pretty much all of it so far. Which is surprising because I'm not really the biggest Mario kart guy.

@somnambulance The problem is that no outlets got Switch 2 units for reviews, so none were able to actually play the games long enough for reviews before the games release.

The fact Sega's Switch 2 games don't have an upgrade path from switch 1 is pretty dumb. Really makes me not want to buy from them tbh.

@PikaPhantom That's a good catch actually. I wouldn't say it completely invalidates this rumor (Zelda could just be older than Link), but it is definitely interesting.

@Joker1234 I mean I'm not complaining about her for the record. I like her as an actress quite a bit. She would just be a terrible fit for this. The Pedro Pascal complaint is silly though. The man is great in everything he's in.

@browneyes My main reason that I'm concerned is I'm worried the switch 1 version might be 70 like Totk, this an 80 dollar Switch 2 edition (not saying this will definitely happen or is even likely, but it could)

It you count the votes across all platforms together, dragon quest would be number one. Pretty wild for a remake.

This game actually looks so cool. I'm hyped.

Hopefully I can make it there someday. This and the entirety of epic universe looks pretty cool.

@father_noo Probably Luthen. Really complex character performed really well by Stellan Skaarsgard (really underrated actor by the way). Or Syril, who probably has the most interesting arc in all of season 2. Also Mon Mothma's great, but she's always been great even outside of the show.

Well, that is unfortunate. Though not surprising really. Fortnite went to the dark side long age. (Also I really don't care that it's legal, or that James earl jones signed on for it. It's still gross).

The one I'm most excited for is bowsers fury. The framerate on that one can be very rough.

Yeah this guy seems to be a moron. There is clearly no "review bombing". Recent reviews on Steam are mostly positive, and most of the negative reviews I saw seem to be legit criticisms, not review bombing.

There are a weirdly high number of people acting like a switch 2 port is impossible, but like, it's coming to series s. I feel like they could make it work. Regardless, I am happy that other games now have a chance to win goty for 2025.
