MNS UK Store also confirms not GKC so I guess this soft confirms any 1st or 2nd party games 10gb or over will be on cart? As Pokopia came it at about 6gb & so far that is only 1st/2nd party game to be GKC

Plus the fact Pokémon was handheld for years means it's not triple A

In UK Nintendo charged more for BOTW/TOTK Zelda Switch games then they did Pokémon so even though know Pokémon isn't Triple A

Already pre loaded both! Given how rare the genuine cartridges are glad way to play the games whilst preserving the cartridges, although sure in the future I'll be tempted to play them on GBA for the authentic re-experience!

@Nep-Nep-Freak Once you unlock 7 star berries it's not that difficult, but the DLC is very grindy but if you play at a casual pace it shouldn't matter but ultimately if you're on the fence then I'd say the DLC is worth it for the end game if you love Gen 3.

Interesting, I saw Joe from Serebii also complain about the grindy nature, so far it doesn't seem that bad to me but I am playing at a more casual pace just did the 2nd boss battle so maybe that's a reason why others may find it more grindy?

I will say so far donuts are a massive improvement over the sandwiches form SV

Story seems solid so far and character interactions still top notch!

I enjoyed what I played for MP4 but I haven't touched it since the Pokémon DLC came out, think Nintendo's release schedule has not helped MP4 at all

That said I am sure every game will have its own measure of success realistically they are not gonna be expected MKW numbers for MP4 so it'll be fine

The website is a bit confusing it says the upgrade with be a separate download so this is a Hogwarts Legacy situation? Ie can download the upgrade and then sell my cart? Can anyone confirm that? Or will the physical copy act as a GKC essentially?

@Elbarbo Interesting you're not the only person I have seen that is now going fully digital with Switch 2.

I guess if you never sell games then kinda makes sense especially as even proper physical carts essentially become GKC with updates and patches.

@Exerion76 That happened to me when TOTK came out, I played it back to back with BOTW (first experience) then got burned 60 hours into TOTK and haven't been back since, but will give it another go next year from the beginning with the NS2 editions.

Very odd decision from Nintendo to make many spin offs for the Switch 2 year 1 including Mario Tennis and Pokopia next year, surely you only do spin offs when the console has a significant user base?

(I know MK is technically a spin off but that is an anomaly)
