I do enjoy Susumu Matsushita’s illustrations. His American-comic inspired designs definitely stand out from his peers.

While I’m personally not a Minecraft fan (I just find it boring overall), I know there lots of people who do like it. I wasn’t expecting it to be number 1 though. That’s surprising.

You guys forgot to put GBA Sonic the Hedgehog on the list! It was one of the worst ports ever made, and it was released alongside Sonic ‘06 for Sonic’s 15th anniversary! What a terrible anniversary!

You all left out one really terrible game- Sonic 1 port on the GBA. It should be at the bottom of the barrel.

How is someone just able to leak the game in advance?? Are they hacking into Nintendo’s servers and just downloading it?? Or is it someone who works at Nintendo and is just uploading the roms?? Like, how does this keep happening??

I got my NES for Christmas ‘91. My sister and I played Super Mario Bros. all the time, and while I never actually owned it, I would rent Zelda all the time and I loved it (even if I had no idea what to do). I remember my mom playing Tetris, and I absolutely remember Giant World in Super Mario Bros. 3. Without the NES, I would have probably never played video games.

Please let there be something about the Power Stone games! Please!!!

I remember at one point Yokai Watch seemed like it could have been a good rival.

Rare had some of the most legendary composers of any game company. David Wise, Grant Kirkhope, and so many others who contributed to their games.

Pokémon Legends: Ho-Oh, Lugia, and the Resurrected Beasts. Let’s get a game based upon this story. You also would use Pokeballs made out of berries (like it was said by Kurt).

Seems kinda weird that Simon gets skipped over. Canonically speaking, if we were to start this at 3’s timeline then Christopher would be next, followed by Simon, Juste, and then Richter. I’m still excited to watch this, but I also want to see both Simon and Christopher get explored. Hopefully the Infinite Corridor will be used more in this season.

Ehh… I’m not fan of it. I never cared for the crafting mechanics, and building in it just doesn’t seem as rewarding to me. I guess it could be a good time waster, but I like my games to actually have goals and a real ending.

And once again, Power Stone fans get left out…. ☹️

I would really like to see them make a new game if anything. I love Treasure a lot, so it hurts to not see them making anything new.

They should have just included all this stuff to begin with instead of this trickle-down nonsense.

Sometimes I wish Nintendo would take a “hands-off” approach on fan-made games. I understand their reasons why, but you don’t see Sega doing it to Sonic fan-made games, but they actually embrace (in the case of Sonic Mania). I don’t know.

So Fitness Boxing gets an anime, but Zelda or Metroid haven’t gotten one yet? SMH 🤦‍♂️

First Turtles. Now Asterix. All we need now is Simpsons and X-Men, and all of Konami’s best beat-em ups will have been rebooted for today’s generation.

Let’s face it, ever since TenCent bought stakes in Epic they just haven’t been the same since.

As far as Epic copying Among Us, yea that’s a scummy thing to do, but I’ll argue that Among Us isn’t that original either. It’s fundamental game mechanics are taken from table top classics like Mafia, and Werewolf. I’ll also argue that The Resistance/Avalon, and Secret Hitler are the best examples of these kinds of games. Far better than Among Us in my opinion.

Treasure is the company who doesn’t really create any new concepts, but instead refines what had already been done, and makes it better. I love them because of that. Their games are just amazing because of it.

Also, no Wario World…? I always thought that game deserved another chance.

I think we all wish that Nintendo had partnered with Disney’s animation studios instead of Illumination. Illumination’s films all just feel so cheaply made compared to what Disney or Pixar can do.

But then again, Nintendo partnered with Disney (Hollywood Pictures) for the original Super Mario Bros. movie, so…….. yea…..

Playing Smash Bros. at my friend’s house was the reason why I wanted one so badly.

Awesome that they’re continuing it with Richter, but I also want to see Simon at some point. He’s the one most of think of when we think of Castlevania.

It was pretty good, but aside from Pikachu none of the other Pokémon say their name which is weird. If one of them gets to use their voice, then of them should keep their voices from the og anime series. This especially annoys me in the new Snap game when they don’t do this, but the old one used their anime voices.

I like the Japanese one more just because Akira Toriyama drew it. Without his drawings, Dragon Quest wouldn’t be that special.

I haven’t bought Pokémon cards since they did a re-release of the original base set a few years ago. Even then, it was for fun due to both nostalgia and my brother-in-law collecting them as well. Unfortunately, I never finished my collection.
But this though is just utter ridiculousness, and pure greed that lousy scalpers- who have no interest in Pokémon to begin with- are ruining it for fans who do enjoy the TCG.

Not a Minecraft fan. I just found it to be boring. The single player base game mode (surviving, crafting, and defeating the ender dragon- no mods) was not really fleshed out, and I don’t want to spend countless hours in creative mode just building things especially if it’s something that I can’t do anything with in the real world. It was somewhat fun when coop was involved, but I quickly moved on to other games that kept my attention. Also, the fanbase who keeps overhyping it as being the “greatest game ever” and then criticize anyone who disagrees just flat out annoys me (you can say the same thing about any fanbase, but Minecraft’s fanbase just seems worse).

If anything, Minecraft is not really much a game (as there was no real end goal, which is why the ender dragon was added), as much as it is just a toy. In this sense, I guess I can see why it’s super popular, but it’s not for me.

Katy Perry may not be my favorite pop star, but I’m glad Pokémon is still around. And if she helps bring in new fans to the series and helps keep it in the mainstream, then I’m happy. It will be awesome to experience Pokémon with my kids and grandkids.

With that being said, I really wish they would grab a new upcoming pop punk band, and collaborate with them on a song. That would be my jam.

They had the best soundtrack of any skateboard game, period.

I like the North American one the most just because it makes it look like you’re going more on an adventure than the other two.

I would actually pay for DLC for this game if they include new areas, and all the Pokémon that were cut out originally so that way all the Pokémon are available.

It looks good, but the only thing that is bumming me out about is the fact that none of them say their names (except Pikachu). That was one of the most charming aspects about the original game. Why don’t they implement this for?

I would be down to having a new Banjo-Kazooie game on the Switch. It would on make sense since it seems like most of its fanbase gravitates towards the Switch.

My very first starter in Blue was Charmander. I had never played RPG’s before that, so I wasn’t necessarily acquainted with level grinding before Pokémon so I could never get past Misty- even after I evolved him into Charmeleon. It was honestly pretty aggravating to the point I almost didn’t want to keep playing. However, my younger brother started a new game, and ended up destroying my pre-existing save file (he was only in kindergarten at that point) so I restarted anyways. I eventually read the manual again, and chose Bulbasaur because the manual said that he could take down the first 3 gyms the easiest. Once I started to understand the gameplay mechanics more, I stuck it through to the end with Bulbasaur, and I finally defeated the Elite 4 and my rival.
